Came here to grab some kolaches and donuts before a meeting and this did the trick! We got a box of a variety of savory kolaches and then a box of various sweet pastries. Everything was great and the guy working was super nice. He offered to heat up everything we ordered before we left so the food was warm when we got to our meeting. Very cute little spot and I would definitely come here again.

Not only did this place not live up to the expectations of good, fresh donuts for our group, but there was a large piece of plastic in one of them. I totally understand mistakes, but mixed with the mediocre donuts, it's not a place I'd recommend.

Upping to 5 stars due to kind and friendly service, reasonable prices and delicious donuts. Our favs are the blueberry and Boston creme. Currently they have a glass covering, wearing masks and have contactless payment options. Really nice people. Support local!

Love this spot so much! The owners are so kind and really put love in to everything they make. I really love bringing a bunch to the office or when I meet up with friends.

Small donut shop off Howard and Harris Ridge in the strip mall with the gas station. Their donuts are so much softer and higher quality than their corporate franchise competitors. It's a personal business and you can tell they bake with a lot of heart. No wait, they are quick to serve and customer oriented. They are open Mon to Sat 5am - 2pm and Sun 6am - 2pm. They have Kolaches, donuts, donut holes, and breakfast sandwiches. Price is 1/4 what you pay at the big shops. You can't go wrong!

Strawberry iced fruity cereal donut! Loved this one!

I went there today and the donuts were pricey not worth the money! They tasted OK, but we spent $20 on the one dozen of donuts!

It's a very popular place here and some donuts were out of stock for the day despite coming here not all that late in the day. I got two donuts. I got the Glazed Donut and the Brown Sugar with Salt. The Glazed one was all right at first as the tingling of salt mingled with the sweetness and it definitely came across as a novelty but by the end of the Glazed my enthusiasm diminished a bit as that was all it felt like I was tasting but salt. I don't think that was entirely it but that's all my taste buds were picking up. But now the Brown Sugar and Salt Donut... now that was a good one! The flavors blended much better and I had more than enough enthusiasm to finish it. I do like Brown Sugar very much so this was a Donut I can definitely recommend if you come here. I wanted another but I controlled myself. They have coffee drinks as well that are solid so they make a nice pairing as you nosh on your donuts and want some coffee to go along with it.

I prefer the mini but they're sold out a lot which shows you how spectacular this place is. My go to is the nutty valentine. The donut is always warm, fresh, and crispy. And the toppings of Nutella, cinnamon, and strawberries adds dimension & the perfect story. There is plenty of patio seating and lots of parking outside. There can be a line on the weekends and they tend to sell out so keep that in mind. The staff is friendly and service is quick!

When we went our choices were $9-$10 donut base desserts. I say base because the toppings cover up the donut visually. Despite that, there's no covering that scrumptious taste and texture. Wowaweea. Yes, you feel your cells expand and pants tighten and it is for sure run club pre and post, but quite worth it. These divine donuts have that cakey interior I love so much. We had the Puddin': cream cheese icing, vanilla pudding, fresh bananas with nilla wafers. According to the menu. Ours didn't have any nilla wafers and the presentation was uneven, hence the four stars. I didn't miss the wafers. The icing and pudding were one goopy topping and the bananas slices were half scattered slices and half banana chunk that I had to separate. Side notes: Gourdough sits on a corner with parking spots that are not free. There's a pay via QR code so you'll need a phone or something to scan that. Boo for digital shackles. Next note- I feel like this is a low key meet up spot. Like the way they tried to make the first train cars on the MTA the singles car? There was a series of singles getting doughnuts and they were a little done up for the occasion. Who knows. With the little IG ready love seats and doughnuts made for sharing, you could walk away with extra sugar.

The donuts themselves were a bit of a letdown, though. Ours were a little stale -- now, in fairness, we did roll in later in the afternoon, so that might've played a part. But here's the thing: I'm a HUGE donut person. I can eat a donut basically any time of day, no matter how long it's been sitting out. So for them to fall a little flat, especially at the prices they're charging, I was expecting a bit more. That said, it was a nice place to sit and take a break while we were wandering around downtown. Would I make it a regular stop? Probably not -- but if you're on vacation and want to check it out for the experience, it's worth a peek.

Why am I going to one in Austin? Well, it's because I am a completeist and I try to go to as many Voodoo Doughnut locations as I can. Austin has two locations but Steve was only willing to tolerate going to one location so we went here. The doughnuts are going to be about the same as any other location however I did come across one that I haven't seen before. I am not sure if it was limited edition or what but I liked it. It was kind of take on a Black Forest Cake but it wasn't cherries that were on top of the doughnut and cream. It was more like blueberries. It was good and I am glad I tried it! I was really hoping to see the Ring of Fire Doughnut as it's my favorite but I didn't see it here. I got more of a powdered doughnut too as I do like their more basic doughnuts too. Steve got something that almost was like a Dubai-esque Chocolate Doughnut. It had pistachios on it and was a chocolate cake. That one was good too! Atmosphere is weird and quirky like all of their locations try to be which I can appreciate. So if you are addicted to Voodoo Doughnuts or have been wanting to try them but don't plan any PNW trips then definitely swing by the Texas locations. More and more locations are popping up all of the time!
