She brought our bread and pickles, and then disappeared. Another server brought out our food, and throughout the rest of our meal, she never checked on us once. I needed ranch for my pizza and a refill on my iced tea. We made eye contact several times, but she never came over to our table. What made the experience even harder to ignore was that we were the only Mexican couple seated in that section, while the surrounding tables were all white. From where we were sitting, it seemed like those tables were receiving attentive service while ours was consistently overlooked. I can't say for certain why we were treated differently, but that's honestly how it felt, and it left a bad impression. We still tipped her well because that's the kind of people we are, but the service simply didn't match the quality of the food. I'll absolutely keep coming back because the food is phenomenal, but I sincerely hope management addresses service like this. My rating is for the food, not for the experience we had with our server.

I got lucky- It was about a half hour before closing and there were no other customers. Cute little place! I was helped by Ilyas, the manager. What a stellar individual! I told him it was my first time, and my preferences (not big on frosting, but like interesting flavor combos) and he walked me through the different types. I was happily surprised to see that they carried some traditional donuts as well as the frosted themed ones! I found that this shop was related to Simones donuts which is a great business! They even do cookie tins and caramels. A couple of the special edition donuts looked so decadent and flavorful but more like a dessert that I commented. He then brought out for me one that was a brand new item and it sounded perfect- a sugar donut topped with strawberry mascarpone encircling a pandan center and I had to get it. He even let me have my themed matcha donut without the fancy little emblem for $1 less! So nice. Those, with a biscoff donut and a logo pin completed my purchase. The pandan topping was sweet but the mascarpone was reminiscent of a strawberry yogurt and the flavors blended perfectly. The other donuts were huge, fluffy and perfectly textured. I would have liked a stronger biscoff and matcha strawberry flavor in those crumbles but at least they were not sweet! Just delicious. The prices are fairly high but I will definitely stop by occasionally to see what delicious creations they are whipping up and get myself a treat!
