This is by far my favorite Donut shop in Tracy & the surrounding area and I make a point to stop in here whenever I can. I stopped in Easter morning to grab a dozen around 6:30 am and the place was PACKED. I usually get a dozen of a variety and my family and cut them in 4's so we can get a taste of all things good. The staff is young, yet friendly and the donuts are seriously fresh and fluffy. I can never make it home without taking a couple bites. All the donuts are noticeably fresh, Non-greasy, and perfectly doughy. They have a lot of donuts that are kid favorites such as the cake donut with fruity pebble topping and other kid friendly cereals. My favorite is the Maple donut with REAL fresh cooked chopped bacon crumbles on top...need i say more? Love this place. Best donuts in town, that have all kinds both fluffy and denser cake donuts. I came originally because I only like the cake and denser donuts but this place got me to like the fluffy ones too. They have the perfect amount of glacé and sweetness that isn't over powering. Very disappointed. I was charged $22 for 12 donuts. Even with the "extra charges" they have listed -- some of the donuts weren't even under those categories listed for "extra charges". The "extra charges" that I got charged for was $2.00 DONUT, $5.00 DONUT, $2.50 TEXAS DONUT, 2.50 TEXAS DONUT. The donuts in my box were regular sized donuts and some even smaller than a regular sized donut... The cashier kept looking into my box during checkout and adding charges without an explanation. I'm all for supporting local businesses but there needs to be more clarity with pricing rather than listing dozen donuts as $9.99 then charging me $22 for everything. We were recommended by family to pass by on the way home from Stockton. I am glad we did because their Donuts and soft serve was amazing! The Ube Donut was soft and crispy at the same time! Located in the same plaza as Menchies I find it a little amusing they serve Yogurt too, I haven't ever had the Yogurt from here and can't imagine many other people have done so either but they do have decent Doughnuts. I've only tried a couple so far as I usually just get them for my Husband. They're always fresh and I do really like the Crumb, I haven't seen it in many other places. I payed for it later on as my stomach became upset....I don't like my stomach when it's angry. Like milk itself has to be well maintained and properly stored, this alone makes this my first and last time ordering any milk based drink product from this establishment. We get our donuts here once or twice a month. It is not at par with Donut Wheel in Livermore, but it is the most decent one we have locally. They have raised, old-fashioned, cake, twist, French, jelly-filled, cream-filled, Texas-sized, and long John donuts. They come as glazed or with a host of different frostings like chocolate, maple, etc. Apple fritters are also available. The raised donuts with breadcrumbs (and sprinkles of peanuts, almonds, and coconut shavings) are a must-try. They sell fast so you have to come in early for those. The old-fashioned glazed ones are great, too. More often than not, we see the group of seniors that Destry mentioned in his review. I think they hang out until 8am. I've been trying to find a great donut shop for a while now, which is why I decided to try Donut and Yogurt. The lady that helped us wasn't informative at all. My mom wanted to get a pearl drink and asked if they used real fruit or powder. The lady told us it was real about 3 times. We had seen the containers with the names of the drinks and powder inside it, which is why we tried to reconfirm with her. It wasn't until we pointed out the powder that she had said "oh yeah we use powder". That was really confusing to me, why even try to lie about it..? My mom originally wanted the honeydew because the lady said it was real fruit, but since it was powder we just got the taro. We had ordered a ton of donut holes and a couple of different donuts. The donut holes were okay, not the greatest i've had. Needless to say, I really don't think were going to give this place another try. This is my absolute favorite donut shop in this area. The donuts are always fresh and tasty, not too doughy. They have a great selection of teas and coffees, as well as croissant sandwich options. I always get their Chai tea, which my kids try and steal from me since it's so tasty. This place is usually pretty busy but the service is quick and easy so you can still get in and out within a reasonable amount of time. Thank you for staying open during these times. This place is a gem and if you haven't been there, you're missing out! They aren't the cheapest donut place, but they're not expensive either and it'd frankly still be worth it even if they were. Their donuts definitely are more enjoyable than your typical grocery store donuts or something from a place like Krispy Kreme. I usually get a maple donut but I've also gone with their chocolate and glazed ones and they're fantastic as well! I only get raised donuts as I'm not a big cake donut person, and they're not dry, dense or overly bread-like in their texture like the raised donuts you get at some other places. Light and fluffy, just like they should be! They even have out-of-the-ordinary stuff like maple bacon (which I wholeheartedly recommend) and things other than donuts like apple fritters (delicious), and this is only the stuff I myself have tried. Thus, although I can't speak to the quality of every item on their menu, their donuts alone make it worth coming here, and they are always prompt and friendly with their customer service! Steaming hot as I share this experience from this morning. I went to a local donut shop to get our team some fresh, yummy donuts after a long night shift. The order was called in and just needed picking up. A little delicious delight during a stressful, tiring night. The owner of the donut shop gave disapproving looks to me and my coworker, looking us up and down and noticing their scrubs and asked if we rode in the same car together. Then told us we could get fined for not following the rules of quarantine. She then made a point to yell at everyone else in the shop to maintain their distance and some people even waited outside, well beyond 6 ft, to avoid coming too close as we waited for the box to be handed over. So question, it's ok for us to sacrifice our health and be on the front lines, but you're SCARED of me? You don't think infection control is at the forefront of our minds? And you're going to go ahead and judge us based on our uniforms when the public is walking around using gloves and masks inappropriately, touching everything and not using common sense when it comes to infection prevention? Forget the masks and gloves, just wash your damn hands and leave the supplies for us who have been trained on accurate use of protective equipment. We don't have enough to use for the actual sick because idiots out there think they need them. So go ahead and be scared of me. I earned this uniform and I will continue my duty to caring for those in need. It's what all of us nurses have been called to do. I'm not sure when we became the bad guys here. We all agree that we won't be giving this donut shop our business in the future. read more
