Your donuts are tasty. Most prefer your donuts over Dunkins. I noticed you raised your price for donuts- almost double the price. We were already choosing your establishment over your competitors in the same plaza. There was no need to increase the prices so significantly for your loyal customers. Today I arrived at your place 10 minutes before closing. There were 2 stools blocking the entrance to symbolize you were closed. However, EVERY light was on, including the blinking OPEN sign, Christmas lights, and the hot donut sign. I watched an entire family with strollers and small children, take several minutes to unpack their van visit your shop. How disappointing for them to get to the door and see you are closed. As a courtesy, click off the open sign if you are not open, especially if you are closing early. Your customers do not see the stools inside your shop blocking the door until they are at the floor. Also, on a business perspective.... don't close early unless it is posted. It looks unprofessional for customers to show up to an open sign, things blocking the door, and staff inside cleaning up because they want to leave early. Good donuts but not worth the increase in price. Better to go down eleventh street a little further and visit the donut shop in the 99cent store plaza. read more

First couple of visits here were super! They food and drinks are yummy... unfortunately their customer service is TERRIBLE to say the least. I showed up today with a big order for my coworkers & boss. I drove from Modesto just to come to this place to show my support for local business. I raved about this place to family & friends and encouraged them to visit. Needless to say that changes today. When I walked in I did announce that the order would be large... I printed out they menu and wrote down the orders myself since this place has no real menu. So after she grabbed my menu/list from me, I asked the "young lady" if she would like me to read the order for her. I asked more than once. She assured me she could handle the order. I proceeded with the order going over the various drink and food order. We both went over it and the last name she read was my sister's name who was the only one who wanted HOT coffee. It was written on the list and she read it back to me. I proceed to pay for the order $42 and change total. She said it would be 15-20 min. I waited till after 9am (I arrived around 8:17am). When I saw her coming I asked my son to go help carry the drinks back. We both did. The last drink was an iced coffee which the "young lady" handed to me to the point that it almost spilled on me. I dismissed it chalking it up to an accident. After counting my drinks I realized I was short the hot coffee. I went back in to ask for it and that's when the attitude started. She said I didn't order it and after some back and forth she said ok. A min later she came out and said "You OWE me $2.50!" At this point I'm already late to work, she forgot the drink and on top of that I have to pay again?! So I still hand her my card asking if she's gonna take it and pay or what's happening here?! She said she COULD TAKE IT OR I COULD WALK IN AND PAY MYSELF! So I gave her my card because by now the line was out the door. She comes back and has the NERVE to tell me...YOU KNOW YOU COULD BE A LITTLE NICER NEXT TIME!!!! AND Waved me away with her hand like I am some mosquito or something! For this I came from my town to support YOUR business and to be treated like garbage?! No! Hell no! So after you got paid you decide to tell me how to act and dismiss me. That must reflect how she is treated that she wants to treat total strangers with disrespect. Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts would have filled my order quicker and gave me POINTS for shopping with them and NO SNOBBY CHILDISH ATTITUDE FROM YOUNG LADIES LIKE THE ONE THAT "HELPED" ME OUT TODAY. Also I said NO BOBA IN MY DRINK AND GUESS WHAT? BOBA FILLED TO THE HALF OF MY CUP. I really don't understand why more people aren't hired to help when this place gets busy. By far the best local donut shop I've been to. All the donuts I tried are really soft and you can tell these are home made. I can't get enough. they have a variety on their menu: donut, breakfast sandwiches, hot or ice flavor coffee, bobba, herbal tea, and much more. They have many different kinds of donut my kids absolutely craves for: captain crunch, fruity pebbles, sprinkles.. others I saw that were creative. They accept both cash and credit card. Big plus for me. I couldn't believe their hours. You can get their donuts as early as 4am through a late evening dessert. Best time to go is the morning as every shelf is filled with deliciousness. I've been really lazy about writing reviews, but this donut shop with a non-descript name gave me such an enjoyable experience, so I had to write up a post. It was a little after 10 pm and after a long road trip up from San Diego, my husband and I were hungry and tired. Dunkin Donuts was closed, but we saw the lights on across the parking lot and decided to come on over. So glad we did. The prices were hard to beat...8.99 for a dozen donuts (and little upcharge for pastries and specialty bars). There were more varieties of old fashioned donuts than I've ever seen before. There were also a lot of choices between cake and yeast donuts, so everyone's bound to get the combo they like. I personally enjoyed the yeast cereal topped varieties the best. The fruity pebbles topped chocolate glazed donut was a neat combo of fruit and chocolate, and the donut itself was light. The lady who served us was so nice and patient as we had a hard time making up our minds for our dozen. She offered suggestions depending on our preferences and told us which ones were popular. She looked at one of the cereal donuts she had pulled for us, and not satisfied with the amount of topping, put it away and gave us a better one. That's freaking above and beyond service at 10:24 pm. To top it all off, she made me a great caramel latte from her espresso machine that was not overly sweet and was very satisfying. I would get it again in a second, especially since it cost about the same as a black coffee at Starbucks and taste just as good as the flavored lattes I get there. When I come to visit my cousins in the Bay Area again, this will be a go-to stop. Mom and Pop shops like these are worth supporting for their quality, value, and service.
