So let me caveat that this review is based on its soft opening experience and menu (will update the review as needed). The restaurant offers some indoor and outdoor seating, a perfect spot to enjoy a meal with friends in small groups. As for the service, even on its first day, it was spotless. Everyone was very welcoming, tried to make sure that I understood the menu and that the experience went smoothly. The menu, even the soft opening version which is a bit more limited, has options for everyone, from veggie to beef dishes. During my visit, I tried the Beef Bibimbap and the assorted daily banchan. The assorted appetizer selection hit all the right spots; I loved the pickled veggie selections. As for the Bibimbap, the portion was very generous, the sauce delicious, and it had a nice balance of veggies/rice/meat; I did wish they had a dolsot/sizzling version of it though. The one thing to note is that Gangam is not cheap; dishes are in the $20-30 range, but portions are quite decent. All in all, if you are craving some K-food, Gangam is an excellent choice.
