Tried Doobi Doobap in Downtown Miami after seeing all the great reviews and honestly had a really good experience overall. I love the whole food hall concept, so the setup was already a plus for me. The food came out super fast, which I appreciated, especially for takeout. I got the bulgogi bowl and the flavor was really good. The meat was seasoned well and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. Personally, I would've liked the bulgogi cooked just a little more with some crispy edges like you get at an actual Korean BBQ spot. I also wish there was a little more banchan included and maybe some kind of extra sauce for the bulgogi because it got a little dry after a while. That said, the flavor itself was still really good and I definitely enjoyed the meal. I'm looking forward to trying other things on the menu next time because the reviews definitely seem justified. I ordered through DoorDash and by the amazing reviews, i knew this food was going to be great and it was! I had the beef bibimbap. It came with miso soup and a choice of banchan. I ended up choosing the spicy cucumbers. I also ordered the fried veggie dumplings. Everything was so fresh and tasty. They even threw in a little mint which i thought was cute lol. The only thing that threw me off was the sauce for the bibimbap. It was a little more sweet than spicy but nonetheless still delicious. Pretty horrible quality and value for money. I was excited about a new Korean place opening near me but ingredient quality and taste is a no for me. Chicken wings small, cheap in quality drenched in batter. Also an extra order of pickled radish for $2.50 is way too expensive for a dipping cup size. Overall pretty disappointing. Food is a complete contradiction to their promise (from their website). Had a few bites of both chicken wings and Jae yuk entree dish, I could not finish any of it. Perhaps my disappointed comes from being Korean and expecting a higher standard. Hopefully the restaurant can improve based on feedback. But one can't help but think they would never have thought to serve this quality and price in a predominantly Korean area. read more

This place is more like a neighborhood mom-and-pop store. Let's be honest, Korean food isn't cheap, especially these days. As Koreans who grew up in Korea, we know good Korean food. decent Korean food at a reasonable price, give this place a try. If you can't tolerate Korean spiciness, go for the bulgogi or galbi.
