My friend and I decided to stop here on a Friday evening. It was absolutely packed and very hard to get seating. There were two seats open at the bar, but they were separated by a couple seats. The hostess told us we were not allowed to move the seats together, which didn't make any sense. Eventually, other guests moved down so that we could sit together at the bar. We ended up ordering drinks, in the bartender was a bit rude. My friend and I are the same age, and he insisted on guarding her, but told me that it was not necessary! Way to make a girl feel old lol. I ordered a watermelon Mojito and I didn't have high hopes for it, but it was actually one of the best Mojitos I've ever tasted. I actually ordered a second. It was so good. The food was another story. We only ordered the spinach and artichoke dip because it looked good but we waited over an hour for it to be brought out. We asked the bartender a couple times to check on it, and he mentioned that they only have one oven in the back and that they can only fit 2 to 3 dishes in it at a time. For a business that touts itself as a bar and kitchen, this doesn't seem realistic to me. I'm not sure if everyone else had to wait as long as we did, but how can a restaurant only be able to cook three items at a time? Every time we needed something, we did have to wave the bartender down and it was almost like he was ignoring us half the time. It was so loud in the bar that we could barely hear each other, even though we were right by the open air windows. I would try this place again on a less busy night, but I would probably only come for drinks. Even though the food was good, it just took too long to get it in the menu is pretty sparse. The Perfect Pistachio Martini is SO good. And little did I know, we were there for happy hour, and it was only $7. I usually wouldn't give a place 5 stars if I was just there for a drink, but this pistachio martini was just too good, and I'm still thinking about it days later. And the interior of this place was cool. I want to come back the next time I'm in town. I got the Banana Bread Espresso Martini because I was interested... hadn't heard of it before. But it was just okay. It was kind of watery, and mine had pieces of ice in it. I guess it was just hard to go from the creaminess of the pistachio one to the more bitter banana bread one. I visited my friend in Cuyahoga Falls and she really wanted to take me here! I loved the moody ambiance. It's very spacious and they even have a back patio! We sat at the bar in the back room. The drink list is impressive; they have a huge martini list, and lots of other various cocktails, at very reasonable prices. I got the Lavender Bees Knees. It was beautiful and delicious! My friend got the Lavender Fizz (it's her go-to) and it was also beautiful and tasty! I wanted to try so many other drinks, but we only stayed for one drink. There were a few pieces of watermelon, some almonds but it was such a mess to eat, wish they had a bit more of a bowl to contain the meal. Found a cozy cocktail lounge with a variety of delicious martinis to choose from. I got a strawberry dark chocolate martini and then a pistachio one to end the night: both tasted like desserts! They were creamy and felt like drinking ice cream! The food was spectacular. We split the grilled cheese dippers as an appetizer, and then a seafood flatbread (which the bartender chose for us because we couldn't decide between two items. He made a great choice!) It's a small place and very popular but the hosts are always really nice and try to be as accommodating as possible. One thing to note: a number of the drinks include dry ice. It creates a fun effect but it always makes me nervous someone will accidentally consume it, or even purposefully not realizing it's dry ice (I don't think it's mentioned as an ingredient on the menu). I really enjoy this place for a nice cocktail and appetizer/dessert! I've been on the back patio when it was quiet and sunny out where my date and I enjoyed several drinks plus the warm artichoke dip. We got the pumpkin cheesecake cocktail which was basically dessert in a glass. The smoked s'mores cocktail is Instagram worthy but tastes terrible. And then they made me some spicy drink with jalapenos in it - I can't recall the name but it burned so good! They have couches and comfy looking chairs. We sat out on the patio. Happy hour is pretty good. $5 craft beers. Nice beer list. Lots of variety. Menu is lots of variety too. We got the tater tots. They were good. You don't get a ton. So not a lot to share. Also got the wedge salad. It was good too. Not enough for a real entree unless you add chicken or something. It was decent. Next time I think I'll go back for the drinks more then the food. Parking is out front on Front St. Parallel parking. There is a parking garage across the street that's free. We tried this restaurant for the first time last night and were pleasantly surprised at how great the food was along with craft cocktails reasonably priced. I had the Caesar salad which had an interesting twist with the addition of panko bread crumbs on dressing made from scratch in-house. Very tasty! We each ordered flatbreads which were delicious. The waitress was attentive and provided very good service. We quickly decided at the beginning of the meal that we will definitely be back soon to this restaurant.
