Service with Duke. Walking and was watching the crew work all our professional and the end product outlet look great with all types from young kids, including four year-old to an octogenarian. As I'm watching to see who would finish first I was hoping Duke would finish first because I saw how precise he was. My hair is somewhat finicky so it takes a special touch. Too short, it spikes up and looks terrible, too long, it only lasts about a week. As luck would have it, Duke freed up and called me over. He did an amazing job. Full barber treatment with a straight razor, hot towel, the whole 9 yards which you would expect from a real Barber. The Atmosphere they had played cool Reeves Music (no words, soul, upbeat vibe) everything was neat and tidy with the barbers, helping each other out in between clients cleaning the floors, and what not Long story short I'll be going back. read more

5 stars for the vibe and service, 1 star for the booking. My kid loves these guys, but man I hated going here. The people there are warm and welcoming. The cuts are great - well worth the cost, but the booking is a mess. I'm just glad he can drive himself now because every appointment is late by 20 minutes to almost an hour - sometimes double booked. Every 6 weeks or so, I had to plan to blow a 2-3 hour hole in my weekend (drive, park, wait and wait). It's even hit or miss getting a response from the guy my son prefers. Sometimes he responds right away, sometimes never. Seems weird to book by texting a stylists personal mobile number. Online booking would be an amazing customer service upgrade. read more

One of the best shops I've been too. Unfortunately it's a little out of my range but when I need a good cut I venture out to Roseville. Rogan is my go to barber. Always does a great job and pays close attention to detail. All the barbers are inviting and it's always a welcoming vibe. Just make sure you make a reservation. They are busy Friday and Saturdays! I called in and set up an appointment for Friday afternoon with Brandon. I wanted the 65 and older cut and shave. What a great price for both. He did an excellent job and by the way, the staff here are very attentive to everyone. They do joke around quite a bit with the clientele so have a good time. What a great group of barbers! When I arrived home my wife paused and said about time and that I looked sharp. Thanks Brandon, for a great cut and shave. When you are in the area stop by but remember a reservation might be needed. What an excellent staff at this place. read more

I came here last weekend desperately looking fora much needed haircut. I called on Friday afternoon and they squeezed me in on Saturday morning. They are following all the guidelines and felt very safe here. The only thing I didn't like about the place was ok the Raider propaganda hanging on display....HaHa just kidding. What I was most impressed with is that this is a guys place where I could see sitting in here bullshitting with other guys and the barbers. My guy I made my appointment was Joey @JOEYCUTS27 loved my haircut, loved the conversation, loved everything about my experience here. I am a very loyal guy to businesses that treat me well and I feel respected. For starters, we moved to Roseville not that long ago. I also use to cut my sons hair at home with my own clipper set, but somehow lost all the guards and the line up clippers in our move. My son was long overdue for a haircut and Joey did a great job. We will definitely be coming back. read more

Best barber shop ever. I've frequented many a shop throughout sac for my son's lovely curly hair, hoping for the right fit. Luke's the one and only who can clean him up without a significant wait, frills, or accidental razor cuts anywhere. He's a great person, very encouraging and light with kids. I completely trust him with my son's hair & my husband is satisfied with the way Paolo does his work. The style of it is very old school, but also with new school flavah! I swear.. NO PARKING! NO PARKING! NO PARKING! I went here a few times, but will never go back again. The staff is a little rude to appointment and walk in customers. Unless your buddy's with the staff they kinda treat you like Shit. Oh did I mention NO PARKING NO PARKING NO PARKING. I since then have been going to The Rose in Roseville. If you are looking for a great cut, you definitely want to schedule an appointment with Luke or any of his other barbers. They take their time to ensure you leave with a cut that exceeds all your expectations. The shop is extremely clean, pumping cool air and running the latest sports on one of the many big screen TVs. I tried a number of shops when I first moved to Roseville and after my first time at Scissors and Blades I haven't entertained another spot. read more

Are you kidding me!!?? I was here when this lady pretty much walked in then said a few words and walked out. Just crazy!!! All Luke said to this crazy lady was that they are all great barbers here! It was probably just one of those bad weeks for this lady to take the time and put a bad review on Yelp. At scissors and blades, Luke and his barbers are very professional and Respectful to everyone! I have been getting my hair cut from Luke for years and he always does a perfect job!!! Sorry it just kills me to see how people just try and make a business look bad for NO reason at all. I don't know any of their names. Sometimes the guys that answers the phone was a complete asshole. Doesn't matter. The guy that cut my hair, I'm sorry bro I don't remember your name, he was a blondish brown long haired man. He gave me the best haircut of my life. I was from a ghetto Sacramento neighborhood. I had Mexican barbers and I've had black barbers. I'm Mexican by the way. Judging by the music playing, this emo barbershop and my boy working the clippers and the scissors, yes the scissors, you heard that right, man salon quality, was the best I have ever visited. He was good, damn good. My girl came with me to get my haircut, I hope you remember me now. He was the best of the best. I now live in Portland. It is the coronavirus so I haven't been to a barber since. If you live in Roseville, the best place to live in shithole Sacramento, visit these guys. Normally it's a huge hassle to cut my son's hair but Rogan made him feel like a little man talking about football and dinosaurs and yes even grown man stuff like girls at his school lol. I have been bringing my son to Luke starting with his very first haircut at 6 months old, my son is now 4 and gets haircuts by him monthly. Luke has always done a great job, he listens to how I want his hair cut, his shop is clean, everyone is always very friendly, his prices are on point, and most importantly I love the variations of styles/cuts that he is capable of. Although this is a barber shop for men Luke and his staff are highly capable of catering to the little ones too. I would highly recommend this shop. read more

Hey parents take your boys to get their hair done by Joey, he does an amazing job cutting my sons hair. My son actually tells his friend that his friend Joey cuts his hair!!!! Go now! He makes it easy he will give his number and you text him to make appointments, so no wasting time waiting too long! He even taught my son how to brush his hair and style it the way he wanted!!! Dating back in the 1950's there has alwas been a barber shop on Lincoln Street. Eddie's Barber Shop , George' Barber Shop and now Scissors & Blades Barber Shop Inc. My name is Luke Guerrero. I was born and raised in Roseville. Happily Married for 9 years and have two great children. I have been involved in the community by coaching in softball and soccer. I started as an Apprentice barber in 2002. Two years later I recieved my Barbers license and started sevicing Roseville. My wife and I opened Scissors & Blades Barber Shop in 2013. Our first location was at the same spot where i recieved my first haircut by Barber George. He was the second barber owner at that very location. We quickly grew out of that small location and moved across the way to a much bigger shop. My goal as a barber is to make people look their best with great service. All I need was a quick zero on the sides and two on top, beard trim and shape, nothing more and nothing less. No need for a fancy shop that charges an arm and a leg. A classic, old school type barber shop and this was it. Great classic tin signs all over, tons of respect for our first responders, and lots of local and national sports love. I came in as a first timer on a rainy Friday morning as soon as their shop opened. I can tell that they have built a lot of rapport with the local community and beyond and upon walking in, I can tell why. These guys shoot the bird and are true artist about their crafts without all the fancy stuff other "high end" shops provide. Quiet for me as I was just taking in the atmosphere but it was a great place to be and seemed like a great hang. I got what I asked for, and an amazing cut as well. I didn't ask the barbers name but he was on the second chair. He was very polite in asking what I needed, and at the end he made sure it was what I asked for. I asked for a bit shorter on the beard and he got to it right away. If I could give this shop 10 stars I would, I am definitely going to continue to support this shop. See you guys soon.

My guy did a great job in both areas and I returned for another shave touch yo day of the event. My barber was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I will return and recommend them. 5 stars if the lather machine gets fixed.
