I've experienced a real downturn with follow through and customer service in so many locations since the pandemic began - the experience here reminded me of what great service really is. Kim called me every single day during the claims process to provide me updates. She knew what she was talking about - and even gave me a tip on how to lower my deductible. She was right - her tip cut my deductible by 50%. How awesome is that? Her brother gave a great explanation on the work to be done and how to address damage cause by a hit and run. This brother and sister team is fantastic. Just got the car back today and felt like I had to write something, though I rarely do, because the experience was so outstanding and my car looks and drives like new. Hope I don't need to go again any time soon. But if I do, so glad to have a go-to auto body shop in my area. read more

Skip it! 1 star Scheduled an appointment for an estimate at Randolph Auto Body and Paint. I was told ahead of time that the estimate would take about 45 minutes. When I showed up for the appointment, they told me they don't do estimates at all -- only straight repairs. No one mentioned this when I booked, so I wasted time setting aside for an appointment that shouldn't have been scheduled in the first place. What made it worse is that the shop was clearly not busy -- the garage and lot only had about 5 cars total and no other clients in sight, so there was no real excuse for turning me away. On top of that, the front desk clerk was rude and unwelcoming when I brought it up. Very disappointing experience and poor customer service. Would not recommend if you're looking to get a quote before committing to repairs. read more

They recently repaired my front end from a collision that damaged my bumper. They got the insurance company to approve a new factory bumper cover vs the refurbished one in the approved appraisal. Kim and Kevin treat every customer as special. The paint matching is #1. When you pick up your car there is no trace that it has been repaired! Because the hours are something I was curious about when researching - Monday - Friday about 7:30 am - 6 pm, but I think there's flexibility in this so you'll want to call ahead always. LOVE my experience here.I was recommended this location by my insurance, and this was much closer than my usual auto shop. Overall, great outcome and such a pleasant experience! Honestly, I am not picky nor really are about my car's physical appearance as long as it's functional. They did a great job in fixing my side mirror and taking pains to make it look pretty!! I'm actually due back to fix a windshield wiper issue (which is much bigger than expected). I think it was due to all the hail we've had in the DMV in the recent years. Really appreciate how accommodating they are with me around my work schedule, my transit (love how it's metro accessible for the DC professional!), and try to recommend the best solution in price/discount/quality. I was amazed at the friendly and customer service attitude I've experience with RAB. When my Honda first arrived for repairs, the manger went out with me to go over the entire van. He gave me several preventative recommendations other the my collision damage! Wow, free consultation and no pressure to buy. Afterward he gave the approximate time frame and explained each steps of the repair process. His assistance, Ms Kim, was just as friendly. She was a delight! I said Wow, I've been to a number of auto body shops over the years and have never come across one with such wonderful service. In fact, the repairs were way ahead of schedule and Ms Kim even called me to let me know their progress along the way! The best part is when I stopped by to pick up my van. It was "detailed"...another Wow! I was shocked. Mmm...I didn't recognize my van! Needless to say, it was a great experience, Even better, the repair was right on!, My van was in great shape, They have done an awesome repair job and they even touched up some minor scratches with no extra charge! Well, here's the bottom-line, It's a small shop without many of the fancy decorations and/or free food, but it makes up many times over with awesome customer service and excellent repair job! I went to Randolph Auto Body and Paint because it was approved by Allstate. And I was concerned because the whole process of having to give up my car for a few days was so daunting. I walk with 2 canes and 2 leg braces, so my car is modified with hand controls. Therefore, I cannot drive a rental car and being without my car is a very real hardship. Well, let me say, the service was spectacular. Kevin and Kim,stayed in communication and did everything they could to assist me and even got my car back to me one day early. One cannot even tell my car was damaged. I had a side swipe accident resulting in damage the entire length of passenger side of my red Mazda CX-5. They repaired on time and according to estimate, no extras, no hassle, just straightforward and reliable, which seems extremely rare in Autobody work. I've had three previous experiences at three other local places - all were a disaster so i was dreading this but all was good. He was very patient and kept me informed throughout the whole process. Even though I called him about 15 times throughout the time my car was there he was pleasant and had no worries.
