I have used Autoblost Dimension for body repair for years because of the good work they have done. However, this may be the last time. Yesterday I opened my hood to check my car, because I kept smelling something strange. Lo and behold I found a bunch of croutons wasted near the battery compartment. I definitely don't appreciate anyone using my car as a dinner table. And apparently there was no attempt to even clean it up!! I'm hoping no moving components on the inside were damaged. The customer service provided by autobody dimensions in and of itself is a reason to use them for future car work. Everyone I have spoke with has been so considerate. Was hit by a cab and dealing with their insurance was an endless pain, but autobody dimensions, and particularly Brandon have been beyond helpful. I'm so thankful for their patience as it took a long time for the cab drivers insurance company to approve the incredibly reasonably priced repairs. It can be hard to find a quality shop in this area that you know will do great work, at a fair price. But this is it!! I hope you have as great of an experience as I did. After completing a super easy and fast online estimate, Bob gave me a call to arrange a time to bring in my car so he could assess the damage in person. He was able to fit me into the schedule the next day and suspected he could repair it without much work. I was sure the entire rear left corner would have to be replaced but Bob was able to pop the piece back into place and buff out the marks from the pole I had backed into--all in less than 5 minutes and free of charge. Over the past three years I have twice had work done at Autobody Dimensions. They are responsive, honourable and they do fantastic work. I was half insured and half out of pocket. The insurance covered it's portion and the out of pocket was appropriate and fair. I highly recommed using the company and always avoiding the unlicensed gypsies that cruise the streets offering to fix scratches and dents. Our car needed a drivers side mirror. The dealer quoted a price of $1,018 for a new replacement mirror. Went to Dimensions and was greeted by Ramiro. He promptly looked at the car and found a used mirror in excellent condition. He found a replacement mirror that was right color -- total installed price was under $400. It was installed without any problems. If the need arises, I would go back to Dimensions in Bethesda. I highly recommend them. read more

BY FAR, THE BEST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I have ever had - and not just in auto repairs. These guys are AMAZING! This is the first review I have ever written - but my experience with them has been THAT GOOD and need to share. First, I had to get a ton of repairs done due to an accident, things took much longer than expected. The pandemic had just hit so things were backed - completely understandable and not their fault at all. I really was in no rush (we were stuck at home!), but they went above and beyond to keep me updated, put in an extra rush - at their own cost, not mine - and dealt with insurance, car rental etc. for me. Their EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE made it so seamless and easy and during a crazy time! THEN - a couple of months later, I saw that my tire was very low on air. I was in the area so drove right over to them. They remembered me, IMMEDIATELY took the car, and identified the issue -a nail had punctured it! I assumed they would tell me to leave the car or make appointment or give me a quote - which I totally would have done.....but they squeezed me, patched it up and I was on my way in LESS THAN 20 MINUTES from when I first drove in. Its unfortunate that I could only give them 5 stars. They deserve more. Okay this review is long overdue (a month) because Autobody Dimensions is worth ALL the praise. The establishment and the staff are so helpful, not only that but they go above and beyond for the customers. Let me start off by saying I have trust issues when it comes to anything auto-related as I have no knowledge of much when it comes to that so I am definitely a target, but this place has let me know that there are good, trustworthy places out there. And NO I did not receive more help because I was a helpless woman, my boyfriend was with me and spoke to the mechanics so it was merely that they care about their customers. :) Do not let this place fool you in appearance. It is small, not too welcoming appearance wise, and they have many cars so parking is tight as they are BUSY!! But man, within a few minutes my guards came completely down and was convicted with their compassion. Regardless of how busy they were, they took the time to look at a problem that my car was having that was not related to the estimate of damage from a fender bender. Please keep in mind while reading this testimony that it all started with just a FREE estimate. John Frissell, a mechanic showed me what was wrong mechanically and I was confused because I recently was sold a "tune-up" from Sports Honda in Silver Spring. Upon showing John my service receipt, he told me that they basically ripped me off and simply topped fluids off. He graciously offered to install a piece while my car would be repaired and even suggested a site to get high quality affordable products. After 1 day, my car was ready (it was estimated 2 days) and when I went to pick it up it failed to start. This of course was not their faults. Long story short, Bob, John, and the staff did EVERYTHING they could to help me. They pushed my car down the street to a mechanic, and after three attempts of fixing the problem my car was finally good to go.They would not let me leave without it being operable and made it their mission to help me--thank God because I would have been so lost! They worked an entire week just to figure out what was wrong, mind you they completed their end of fixing the bumper in one day and fit me in during their jam packed schedules. They went above and beyond for me and words cannot even describe how thankful I am. They will forever have a loyal customer that will recommend this auto body shop to any and everyone. They did not treat me as a client, they treated me as a human being, and even as family. I felt like Bob treated me like a niece, the way he would ask me I would be able to manage the prices of repair services. Please do not make the mistake of overlooking this business. I was recently hit by another vehicle and had to use the repair shops their insurance recommended. I live in DC and at first going to Bethesda seemed like a bit of a pain, but Autobody worked with me and Entreprise Rent-a-car to get me picked up right from the body shop. The car was supposed to be in the shop for three days, but that same day I dropped it off Brian called me to let me know they had found additional internal damage and they would need the vehicle a full week. Again, Autobody took care of contacting Enterprise and extending my reservation. I didn't even have to lift a finger. I picked the vehicle up and it was in fantastic shape. Probably better shape (inside and outside) than when I left it. Clean, spotless and running smoothly. Tracy, their receptionist, was so sweet and efficient when it came to sending me the appropriate paperwork I would need filled out and contacting the insurance directly. Great job! read more

I've been here three times in the last year to have my vehicle repaired. Please note that twice my car was hit by commercial vehicles (ice cream man and FedEx guy) while parked, and the third time was when a huge tree limb fell on it during the derecho storm. So, I've had three opportunities to work with Autobody Dimensions in the past 12 months. They are very customer-service oriented. They realize that we could choose from the other six body shops within walking distance of their shop, so they get it right. Each night I received a call about the progress of my vehicle. I felt like I had a boyfriend for a while... somebody thinking about me! They care! Anyway, always returned my vehicle on time, clean and repaired in a way that I couldn't tell there was any work done. What more do you want? read more

Several months ago my new Subaru Forester was rear-ended and USAA directed us to Autobody Dimensions in Bethesda. The body work was excellent, the people were super nice, and the work was done promptly. Fast forward to this week -- after a small fender bender in another car, I couldn't get the hood closed due to a small bend in the front frame. They saw me immediately, took it in back and in five minutes had it fixed. And no charge! I strongly recommend Autobody Dimensions for your auto body needs! Well, got another estimate, and boy do I look like a jackass. I owe Autobody Dimensions an apology, and won't even edit my initial review because I deserve to have full egg on my face for this one. This estimate was $2400, so basically the same as Autobody. Clearly they weren't trying to take advantage of me, and I jumped to conclusions mat. That said, I think all the labor hours are inflated. This place quoted the same hours, and it just seems like a real stretch to me. Nearly 30 hours seems like a lot to fix a couple dents. And nearly 30 more for painting? I'm not buyin' it. I think the affluence of the area and the "insurance premium" has been built into prices without people questioning it. Oh well, I was still wrong about them trying to gouge me - and I stand corrected. ALL that said, I ended up getting the work done for under $1000, so while these may be the going rates for high end shops, if you dig around, there's way cheaper, quality work out there. read more

I just had my second repair job done at Autobody and could not be more pleased (again) with the professionalism, quality of work and customer service provided. This time, the repairs required were too extensive for the Bethesda location, so they took the car to the Rockville and all folks there were equally as terrific. The team communicated throughout the entire process so I always knew the status of my car's repairs. Once completed - well ahead of when I originally expected the repairs to be complete - they towed the car back to the Bethesda location since that is closest to my home. I never write Yelp reviews but just had to write one for Autobody Dimensions. I stopped in today without an appointment as I had dislodged something under the car which was scraping along the road, making it impossible for me to drive. They fixed it while I waited and were more than reasonable with the cost. I have had other repairs done here in the past and have always found them to be super helpful and honest.
