Update Hours of Operation. Turn off Open sign/Lock doors & turn off Lights. Inform/Communicate/Notify the other staff members that You "THOMAS" have decided to clean, shutdown equipment & close despite my presence. Thomas was RUDE... and as well as rude. Moving forward Communicate/Inform & NOTIFY is (Other Staff) especially the GREETER & beautiful young lady taking to go orders. I KNOW THAT YOU "THOMAS" WILL NOT BE COOKING ‍ ANYTHING ELSE for me... Thank You . to the customer and staff. and person upfront who greets, takes orders, clarifies menu, ask the quick questions and whatever her other responsibilities are . taking orders for customers I arrived 10 minutes before 8 PM. I had questions about the menu so the Greeter talked to the CHEF (NOT) or Cook. He responded & came out and spoke to me. But then he turned his back and while walking away, he said he wasn't cooking anything else the restaurant is closed. I thought Thomas (THE COOK) was perhaps joking ; but no he was not & he was adamant that he was not doing any more cooking and had already started cleaning as well as taking down whatever equipment he needed to use. I was shocked, but that's what happens when businesses change owners, the quality, the care, the consideration & the hospitality decrease significantly. Go somewhere else or take your chances with this restaurant which has zero hospitality, kindness & care. The lights were on, the sign said open, and the young lady at the register was taking my order and helping me due to recent changes. She was very polite and apologized more times than I can count, but I assured her that it was quite all right and not her fault. She did a great job despite a lack of communication and respect from (The Cook). I guess the Cook had somewhere else to be.... I won't be back! Well maybe at a later date when there's another change. Doo's Seafood, Atlanta Hwy, no longer exists! It's Bread and Butter Cafe with a partial seafood menu. So the menu is incorrect! They no longer have coleslaw or hush puppies and they think piling on French fries compensates for their changes, which I consider false advertising and very misleading. Extremely disappointing and I wouldn't patronize whatever it is now given the disrespect I received when I complained directly about my last order. read more

This was an average experience for me. The store was empty, but the service I received was incredible. The seafood taste was alright, but nothing spectacular. I suggest trying some of the sauces before ordering to fully experience them and to give you the best eating experience. read more

This was the first time we had been here and I must say that we were very impressed. They have a great menu with both fried and boiled seafood options. We had the Fish Platter which had two big pieces of fish (either catfish, tilapia, or whiteing) with choice of two sides. We picked one platter with catfish, fries, and coleslaw (the coleslaw was excellent) and the other platter was tilapia, fries, and hush puppies. Both were great. We traded one catfish and one tilapia fillet so we could each try them. Both came with 6 big shrimp that were very tasty. The server (manager?) was very nice and attentive. Average food, overpriced and bad service. I went there for lunch and I was the only person at the restaurant, yet still had bad service. They don't come and check on you to see if customers needed anything. I ordered crab legs and I had to go up to the counter and asked for crab tools. And when asked, the guy who works there seemed to be impatient about getting them. The tools, extra napkins and wet towels should have been brought with the meal in the first place (if oily crab meals were ordered) or he should have asked if I needed the tools from the beginning. The place seems understaffed. There was one person running as a cashier, chef, and server. Bad attitude overall. They don't thank customers for dining with them or seemed accommodating. If the service was this bad when there was only one person in the restaurant, I can't imagine on busy nights like weekends. read more

CREAMY BUTTER!! The best! Prices are a little on the pricey side but it's worth it. It was my first time here. I've had their other location, Doo's Seafood before. And that's where I was introduced to the creamy butter. All staff wore masks. Interior was clean. Bathrooms were clean. Don't get me wrong, I listen to rap music. But the music they were playing was a little too explicit while dining in...plus the music video playing on the screen? Just imagine if a family with kids came in? It's a no for me.... However, the service was okay. I gave 3 stars because the servers could've been more attentive. We were never asked if everything was ok. We drank both of our waters and nobody came to ask for a refill. We had to get up and ask for extra condiments and a to go box. And also, the host/server didn't properly seat us. She just pointed at the booth and told us to sit down. These were the only things that threw me off, especially for my first time. The servers shouldn't have an excuse to NOT be attentive because we were the only ones dining in for a good minute. Sooo maybe consider working on server skills? Let me start with the positives...the Restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The portions were decent and hot! The crawfish appeared to be very fresh too. Maybe the freshest I've ever had from a place like this. However there were too many negatives...one being that the prices are just too high, as mentioned by other reviews. Also, the flavors aren't good. They represent themselves as cajun, from Louisiana, but there wasn't anything cajun about our meals. They use some type of sweet seasoning on everything. Every meal I ordered for my family had a sweet taste. The fried shrimp meal, the garlic butter meal, and the cajun medium meal all had a sweet taste. Cajun seafood SHOULD NOT be sweet. Great food! Tonight was our first visit and we will definitely go back. Restaurant was clean and service was personal. I had the best shrimp Po Boy I have ever had. The bun was extremely fresh and the shrimp crispy. My husband had a fish and shrimp basket. We were told it is under new management and will be changing names soon. Location is off the beaten path at the quiet end of the shopping center past the Kroger so it is easy to miss. Atmosphere was fun with the walls filled with names of patrons.
