I am so glad that I found a new seafood boil restaurant that I can call my go-to New Orleans' style boils. Past by this restaurant all the time, but never had a chance to try it until I saw it on IG yesterday. Ended up ordering 12 lbs of crawfish right away with 3 different flavors and OMG...it's so good! My whole household loves it. The flavors just hit the spot. Crawfish was fresh, not frozen. Some were decent size and some were small, but every bite was worth it. I did tried to place the order over the phone to avoid the $7.50 online platform fee (unavoidable even if it's through their website or app), but they said that I had to order it online because it was my first time. I've also ordered it 3 hours in advance for pickup, but when we got there, we still had to wait another 15+ minutes or so. I prefer to have it waiting for me to just pick up and go as I was on a time crunch. That's why I set it up at a certain time. Overall, I had recommended this place to all my family and friends. I can't wait to order from them again sooner than later being that it's crawfish season. read more

First time and this will be my spot for crawfish. I called my order in and Armani answered and made suggestions. I got 3ilbs of Cajun crawfish with corn and broccoli as sides and we added the gumbo and boudin balls. Everything was fresh and delicious. The crawfish seasoned to perfection with a great spice level. The restaurant just opened and they were understaffed but Armani was awesome with her customer service. Great attitude. At 2:30 on a Monday we were the only people eating in. There were 2 others waiting on to go orders. The young ladies at the counter taking your order were friendly and helpful to us first timers. On Yelp there are several reviews stating they had catfish here but guess what? They've NEVER sold catfish per the young lady the only fish they have ever had is Pollock and it is delicious! I got the pick 3, with one pc fish and dbl shrimp which turned out to be 8 large PERFECTLY cooked shrimp that were absolutely scrumptious! Served with coleslaw meh I'm not a slaw fan, 3 hushpuppies very good and the BEST FRIES yum! Very clean even the restrooms with 3 tvs but only 2 were on. My friend got the whole fried shrimp po boy with fries and drink. He had so many shrimps on his Sammie that he had a meal with what fell out! Those were smaller shrimp but very tasty and cooked to perfection. We were happy that the place we were going to eat that is next door is closed on Mondays so that we could try Louisiana Shack. The staff here really knows what they're doing! I ordered the full shrimp po' boy along with the boudin balls, and both were immaculate. Unlike other places that fill their sandwiches with just bread and lettuce, this one was packed full of shrimp! The boudin balls offered a unique taste for me, and they were bursting with flavor! I've been wanting to try this place for awhile but I don't love boils. Saw they have a shrimp bowl with noodles, broccoli, potatoes, and corn and they have a creamy garlic butter sauce instead of the spicy red sauce. 12/10! It was so good and the portion was huge. The container is about the size of my head. My husband got the shrimp po boy meal, comes with fries and hush puppies. This spot is a hidden gem! Authentic Louisiana food is sooooo hard to find in the Atlanta area. The boudin balls are made fresh by hand and delicious! I don't eat crawfish but my wife says they are great! I had the shrimp po' boy-yum yum! My son lives near and recommended we eat here, fine with me have been wanting seafood. There were 4 of us so we ordered the family meal with fish, shrimp and tenders plus two crab cakes. It was right before closing so they weren't crowded actually we were the only ones inside. The place was clean the cashier was very friendly. We placed our order and waited for them to cook it, maybe 10 to 15 mins. Food- was served in a large aluminum pan with foil it wasn't closed so you could see your order. The food was hot and spelled darn good, we couldn't wait to get back to eat. The shrimp and fish were delicious. The crab cakes were ok. I didn't taste the tenders. The fries were good too. My first time visiting and I had a great experience. The establishment is very clean and the people were so nice. I am allergic to shellfish I was invited to lunch here. So I got the mild lemon pepper wings and fries. The fries were sooooo good they were seasoned well and crispy. And the hot wings hands down the best wings I've had !!! I'm a wingstop girl however, I believe I found my new wing stop the wings were crispy they were wet not soggy at all even later when I ate the leftovers they were still crispy and good. 've notice the crawfish aren't cleaned well. Every time I go my crawfish tails are COVERED in MUD and I know the difference between seasoning and straight up dirty, you can even taste the gritty dirt when you suck the head. I tend to lean towards the po'boy because it's large and I can't usually finish it in one sitting. Price is reasonable as well about $15 and comes with two sides. A very literal watered down version of Doos (Lilburn) If you have been to Pleasant Hill (104) you would know that there are a few places to get your seafood boil going: The Juicy Crab or Capt Loui (renamed from Loui Loui). Recently, I tried this place.....won't do it again... It was like a super watery soup instead of a boil. They should have reduced the water some more instead. The seafood was in bad condition , shrimp was over boiled, crabs barely had any meat and was super hard to open up so I definitely didn't feel rewarded when I finally did. The sausage was better on the first bite, savory but tasted like it cooked in stale water. They do keep good on the promise of the potato though.. So unless you're going to doctor it up yourself at home you can decide if its worth $70 or not because I didnt see it. read more

Ohhh yeahhhh, finally some place in the Ville that gives you ya money's worth of food. Plentiful portions (from our account). We used the daycare space earlier in 2020 (when it was in business - has since closed amidst Covid) and noticed Louisiana Shack back then but only now had the chance to try them for takeout...and we were not disappointed. Currently the are allowing people in the dining room (with social distancing). The staff was wearing masks when I picked up and a lot of the chairs were stacked to prevent crowding. Feels nice and open in there. I placed my order for pickup via the website. Was easy enough to use. You are easily able to choose your spice level and sides and add notes if necessary. I had the 3 piece fried catfish and a shrimp po boy. Throughly enjoyed both. The catfish were large and the poboy had a decent amount of shrimp for the hoagie bun. Outside there is plenty of parking and signage warning of Covid-19 precautions. Definitely had a great pickup experience as my food was ready near my quoted time. read more

I was craving crawfish so we decided to try this place. I gave them 4 stars because of the following: 1. Location: it's a bit far for me, but if you were in the area, it's easy to find, 2. Parking: it's in a medium sized shopping center so parking isn't an issue. 3. Service: it is a order at the counter and they will then call your number or name for you to pick it up at the pick up counter type of place. The staff is nice and patient. Took us awhile to order, but they were nice enough not to rush us. You pretty much do everything yourself, including getting your own drinks. But if you need anything, just ask. 4. Food: I was a bit worried that it's not a true crawfish place, but the crawfish was excellent. It wasn't spicy enough for me but that's just a personal preference. We ordered 3 lbs of garlic butter and 2 lbs of Cajun seasoning. I would recommend the garlic butter over the Cajun seasoning. The Cajun seasoning was very watery but the crawfish itself was dry. Ironic much? My husband said the fried shrimp and fish were great as well. 5. Price: I thought the prices were reasonable. $9.99 per lb for crawfish.
