This is literally a hidden gem tucked away in the middle of a strip mall in Doral, next to a few other restaurants and new construction warehouses. It has a pretty sizeable parking lot. The aesthetic mix - exposed brick wall, modern lighting and open structure would make this place feel like Wynwood or Las Olas. Finally, our waiter was really cool, sidenote dude could pass for Maluma. We ordered bottomless drinks - mojitos for myself & mimosas for my date; our drinks were never empty. The hostess was also accommodating when we had to shift our reservation time. Great service all around! Onto our food: they have a three course brunch menu where you pick one appetizer, a main and a dessert. Among our group, we all picked different courses to share and sample (we even had sharing plates). My sides were the manchego & serrano ham croquettes (5 per plate) and also seasoned the beef empanadas my ladyfriend ordered. The margherita flatbread, as well as the chicken Parm, were well seasoned with a robust flavored marinara sauce. I've been wanting to come here for a while and finally came with my fiancé and mom. The décor and location is very nice inside. There was a performer/singer inside when we arrived on Sunday and there was a whole Peaky Blind vibe going around as there were paintings all over the establishment of the characters. They have a really affordable brunch menu at $30 that includes an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. You can also add bottomless for 2 hours for $18 that includes margaritas, mimosas, mojitos, and sangria. I recommend just going with the Mimosas honestly, the other drink options were lackluster and did not match the description of the name. The appetizers were good, we went with the empanadas and the croquettas and they came with a ailoi sauce that was absolutely exquisite. I got the steak and eggs and the steak was overcooked with a lot of fat and the eggs were also overcooked. We also got the chicken and waffles and the chicken was not fresh and the waffles were hard. Came on a Tuesday night so wasn't busy at all. The waitress was great and helped a lot. Very attentive and made sure we were good. The place looks very nice in the inside, has a nice elegant look. Had the tuna tartar which was good. The Carbonara flat bread was very very good. Had the Al Capone Deal Fashion (old fashion) and it was surprisingly a good drink. Kudos to the bartender. My main dish was the NY Steak medium with mash potatoes and sweet potato fries. My steak was good the mash potatoes was like soup and was not seasoned well. That's the only thing I was a bit disappointed in, my sweet potato fries were hot and crispy but not seasoned. We sat down, looked over the brunch menu... and realized there really wasn't anything on there we felt like eating. So, we pivoted. We started with the fried calamari, and honestly? Best thing we had the whole meal. Super crispy, flavorful, and well-balanced with the sauces. If you go, start there. For my main, I ordered the Filet Mignon with Truffle Fries. The steak was decent, a standard cut, cooked fine, but nothing memorable. The "truffle fries" were not truffle fries; they were parmesan-topped regular fries. Maybe they waved some truffle oil near them? For an upcharge item, I expected more flavor than fries wearing mushroom cosplay. For dessert, I ordered the brownie with vanilla ice cream, partially influenced by the food B-roll playing on their TVs. It was decent, nice flavor, but a little dry once the ice cream ran out. My girlfriend ordered a salad with grilled chicken, which unfortunately came with a surprise: either a hair or a piece of plastic covered in dressing. She said, "The few bites before the hair were underwhelming, lettuce was fresh, but the dressing was skimpy and the chicken was super dry." When we told the server, they didn't really apologize. Just took the plate and asked if she wanted something else. She switched to the Fettuccine Alfredo, which was better, though a bit watered down and the chicken again... still dry. For dessert, she had the Key Lime Pie, which was the biggest letdown. The crust was soggy, the lemon garnish was weirdly slimy, and the filling was gloopy. She said, and I quote, "Publix's premade key lime pie blows this out of the water, and it's a quarter of the price." On a high note, I ordered the Italian Mule, and it was perfect. Strong, balanced, and honestly the most enjoyable part of the meal outside of the calamari. Final thoughts? This is the second time I've been here for brunch and I'm pretty disappointed with the burger. The burger meat was a brick/low quality, cheese was American processed, and the bacon was microwaved. I came with a party and everyone who got a burger was disappointed. McDonalds makes better burgers than this.
