Service 10/10, food 10/10, ambiance 10/10 ! We just moved to the area and were craving Indian cuisine and I'm so glad we came here. Nothing disappointed us, in fact everything exceeded our expectations, from the service to the delicious food. We will 1000% become regulars. I wish I would've taken pictures of all the food we ordered but we were so excited to eat I didn't take any!

Do not come here when you're hungry. They move slower than molasses. I waited 45min just for 3orders of dosa (TO GO). The restaurant was hot, like they had the heater on. It was very uncomfortable and the lighting is terrible. I was squinting at the menu like an 80-yr old. Seems like they're trying to save money and NOT have the A/C or vents or lights on. And even though the food was decent-tasting, their customer service was subpar. They knew it was my first time there and I was waiting there for a LONG TIME, but they never tried to chat or talk or even be friendly. The 2guys/waiters/servers/owners/or-whatever-they-are just stood there, ignoring me, avoiding eye contact. They could've given a small glass of lassi or chai while waiting.....or maybe just water, at least?!? Not once did they even offer a drink or anything to relieve my sweating. Yes, I was visibly sweating, while sitting down, waiting for my order of food. Customer service is a flat ZERO, here. Food was fine......that's why it's getting 3stars. Nothing fantastic. The dosa was fresh but lacking in taste. The dipping sauces were flavorful but the chickpea could've tasted better with more garlic and spices. Overall, the food is good if you're looking for some homemade comfort food -- but order in advance and don't go when you're already hungry. EXPECT TO WAIT. And expect zero customer service. :( I'd rather go to Pioneer St in Cerritos for my Indian food.

Absolute worst service I've ever received. Waited one hour without seatin after we were quoted 10 mins for seating. I asked for an update at the 1 hr mark and they said 30 more minutes on top of that. Reminded them I've been waiting for one hour already. There were multiple open tables. They also hand out dirty menus that are covered with other peoples food for you to view your order We were seated and never received cups or water. I literally asked five times. Service was so terrible. I had to go get my own cups and water to serve my own self. Had to go fetch my own beer from the fridge and open the bottle top with my own opener. I wouldn't be surprised if they told me to go make my own entrée. It was not that terribly busy there were about one waiter per three tables. I'm really not sure what the hype is about this Dosa spot. The daal this straight up water.

Went here on a whim being in the neighborhood and was pleasantly surprised! I've never tried dosas or chaats before so it was fun to try new items. We got the ghee masala dosa - my boyfriend LOVED it. I thought it was really good, especially the filling, but definitely really heavy with all that ghee. The dahi puri was my favorite, SO REFRESHING. Would absolutely get it again anywhere I see it on the menu. The tikka masala was good but I expected it to be more red in color? Threw us off a little but I didn't care. I'm sad this place is so far from me but so glad I got to experience these dishes and will be looking out for them in places closer to me!

As I learn to be my own company, I continue to try more spots! I'd just gotten off shift and decided to try Dosalicious! The staff were all very friendly and served me with a smile. It was a bit quiet, as the TV had been off, but it wasn't any kind of bother. There were many options to choose from, and there were sections dedicated to vegetarians! I had the Chana masala with mild spice, paratha(both my first times trying them!) and a masala chai for my drive home!! I was expecting the wait time to take a bit, but everything came out very fast! While eating, I had several staff members come up to me to check up on how I was doing which was super sweet(I personally don't find it redundant or annoying, I think hospitality is important.) The food was so yummy... beasted my plate. YUP. I see that there's a trend of people tanking this spots reviews because of tips and fees; it's pretty basic knowledge to know that there's a service fee if you dine in and if you use a card. It's California, idk what to tell you LOL. anyways, I look forward to frequenting the spot

Okay honestly this place turned out to made me mad as 8 of us went in to dine on a Sunday noon. I had gone to try idli manchurian & when they said their stove wasn't working & the only thing we could order from the menu was dosa, I was so disappointed BUT it did end up working after our first order of food came out and thank god ! I loved idli manchurian so much! Perfect crisp & flavors. Dosa was great too, just thought the medu vada could use some salt. As we were getting done, our server also told us he can't give me a container for left over sambhar .. like what? Are you trying to save plastic containers, if so I can support it. But I shamelessly asked it's ok I'll use the chai cup to take it & he was laughing at me. He did end up giving me the plastic container but mentioned how he has to listen to his manager. Honestly Indian restaurants need to get it together with customer service and management needs to be better. We also got 7% discount on cash payment & gratuity was included.

Butter cheese dosa with the potatoes on the side for extra crispiness. Their sambar is usually good.

This place could be a hit or a miss. The dosas are very delicious but their service is very slow. If you are lucky the food will taste 12/10 but on a bad day food could be 6/10. Its kinda of a love and hate relationship because we've been going there for two years now .. sometimes we leave very disappointed and other times we leave with a happy tummy. The place is crowded most of the time. I really don't know how to better describe that this place is a "dice roll" kinda thing. Went over for dinner and we waited 48 minutes for our food after placing our order. I was getting very upset when the server suddenly brought our dinner. Luckily the food was delicious... we heard another customer from the table across of us complain about their rice being super oily and was unhappy. This place is like going to a casino to try your luck. You can either leave happy or upset and disappointed. They could increase their service time.

I'm writing this review as I'm waiting for my food. Actually. I already finished writing 3 other reviews while waiting. I'm counting the clock as I await. 5 tables, 2 to go orders. Came in 12:41pm, order placed at 12:48 pm, and still waiting at 1:21 pm. The decor is really simple. The restaurant yields a scent like a homeless man, as you approach the restrooms, the scent gets stronger. 34 minutes later, my food showed without any word from the server. The food was served up in a fast food tray with disposal bowl and dish. The taste was mediocre. It comes with rice only, no nann at all. Since it's a vegetarian dish, it had no meat but boiled eggs in the masala. Foe sub par everything, the price is extremely high. Horrible. 1 out of 5.

Got a recommendation from a friend and decided to give it a try. I LOVE IT!! My favorite is ghee masala dosa and kerala parotta with chicken chettinada. The dosa is huge and crispy. They are all hot and fresh. The staff is friendly and helpful. The service is fast even on the weekend. The restaurant is clean and spacious. Definitely will go again when I'm in the area.

I'm…read morenot lying when I say this, it was the BEST Indian food we've had on the west coast, EVER!!! We arrived when they first opened at 4:30, and initially I was concerned because I didn't feel the warm greeting others referenced in their reviews, I mean they weren't rude, but maybe just distracted because they'd just opened and were still putting out food for the buffet. We opted to order from the menu, and the young lady who took our ordered turned out to be very sweet. And OMG they didn't need to say a single word to me honestly (although they did warm up), that food spoke for itself. We ordered the Samosas, Chicken Saag, Shrimp Coconut Masala, Daal Mahkni, Garlic Naan, Basamati Rice, and Mango Lassi. I wish I'd taken photos. Everything was so fresh and the heat (medium for the shrimp and hot for the chicken) was perfectly balanced with the flavor of the food. My husband wasn't sure if he should go hot or medium but the Chef came out and overheard us trying to decide and he told us he'd hook it up...and he definitely did. The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender enough that we could cut through it with a plastic spoon. The shrimp were also cooked to perfection. Not overcooked but also not undercooked...like the right in-between texture that paired well with the coconut masala sauce. The naan was soft and flavorful (I meant to order another one to go but forgot). And the Mango Lassi was absolutely delicious. My only regret is that they are an hour away from where we live so I won't be able to visit them as often as I'd like, but we will be back. And as we were preparing to leave the owner (I believe) stopped us and asked what we thought about the food. You can tell they really care about the food quality and they really are bringing top notch Indian cuisine, excellent portions, at a very fair price point. Three things hard to come by all at once in today's economy. I highly recommend this place, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

The staff is friendly and helpful and we loved how many options the menu had. The dry chili paneer was just the right spice for me and very flavorful. My husband enjoyed a masala. But hands down I loved the Frankie street food! We will definitely bring our friends back here!

Kailash Parbat was recommended to us by family, and we recently dined here with my in-laws. We…read morereally enjoyed some of the dishes we ordered, while a few others were just okay or a bit lacking in flavor. Our favorites were the Vada Pav, Pav Bhaji (we ordered the Classic), Chole Bhatura, and the Jaamun Shot. The Papdi Chaat was exactly what we expected and was decent. The Bhel Puri and Pani Puri were probably our least favorite dishes. For the pani puri, the pani was bland and lacking flavor and the puri barely had any filling. The Bhel Puri was more tart than I expected and could have used a bit more green chutney and sweet chutney. I didn't try it myself, but my father-in-law ordered the Masala Jaljeera and he didn't seem to be a big fan. He mentioned that maybe he should have ordered the Kokum Jeera Soda instead. The restaurant is clean and the ambiance casual. Service was a little slow at the beginning, but once we placed our order, the food came out very quickly. I do wish they had given us a little more time to enjoy a few dishes before bringing out the rest. Our table felt pretty crowded when everything came out at the same time and we were shuffling dishes to make space while we ate. To be fair, we ordered a lot of food, and we probably could have asked for the dishes to be brought out in stages. Overall, I'm giving it 4 stars, though I'd probably place it somewhere between 3.5 and 4. I'd definitely come back to try other menu items if I was in the area.

DO NOT JUDGE THIS RESTAURANT BY OTHER PEOPLE'S RATINGS!!! When I came to Yelp to leave this review…read moreand saw their rating, the only thing I can think is other Indian restaurant owners MUST come here for to eat, and then have their large amount of family members give them low ratings, because it's too freaking good!!! I am SHOCKED honestly! This is LITERALLY THE BEST INDIAN FOOD I have ever had in my life. As a 1st Generation American, who has lived in Europe and have eaten Indian food in at least 30 cities worldwide, I GENUINELY MEAN IT!!! I'm bummed I didn't get pictures, but the food area is incredibly clean, their Bakery section is absolutely unique especially for Indian Restaurants, and the portion sizes were honestly perfect for a 250 lb guy to have a full lunch left for tomorrow. The chicken 56 which I had never heard of in my life, was incredible has a delicious vinegary, slightly spicy, almost like an Indian Food version of orange chicken, but WAAAYYYY more tender. And their Tikka Masala is incredibly flavorful in my opinion for something that is usually pretty simple.

Unfortunately, today completely changed my perspective. As I was getting ready to pay, I noticed cockroaches walking across the countertop, which was extremely concerning. Around the same time, the staff informed me that their system was down and that I would need to pay using Zelle. They also appeared to notice the cockroaches and quickly tried to cover my food while giggling and speaking among themselves. Their behavior made me feel very uncomfortable, especially since they seemed nervous and were urging me to follow them and send payment. I didn't want to cause a scene, but I felt uneasy. I told them I didn't have Zelle and didn't have time, and I decided to leave without taking the food. As I was leaving, I noticed the staff who had seen me looking at the cockroaches speaking to others and giving me strange looks, which added to the discomfort. Due to this experience, I will not be returning. Cleanliness and professionalism are extremely important, and this situation was very disappointing.

Wow! I'm amazed at how good the food was…read more We started off with a mango lassi- a delicious mango and yogurt smoothie drink Food: Tika masala- medium spice. This was delightful and the right amount of spice for us. Delicious Tandoori chicken - it's my personal fave. It's got a nice grilled crispy layer on the outside and nice and juicy inside. The garlic naan was thin and crispy. Sooooo good Pakoras- wow. It was so good. I'll def be back and I have these to blame. Service was great. This is a small Mom and Pop Indian café located in the La Sierra neighborhood of Western Riverside,…read morenear La Sierra University. It has a very beautiful, artistic interior and clean look that makes a wonderful impression. The walls are painted in vibrant colors and designs. Even the bathroom is upgraded and gorgeous. They made a conscious effort to make their establishment very inviting. 5 stars for its upgrades in such a otherwise downy strip mall. We have tried several relatively new Indian restaurants in the past few months. The food, even when requested to be mild, had a bit more sting to it than I had hoped. That makes an impression that leads me to rate this as better than some, but not my favorite. First was an appetizer, a huge portion of Samosa Chaat. I was disappointed that the samosas were not particularly crisp after being smothered in the rich spicy gravy, chickpeas, and tamarind and mint sauces. It is a very pretty appetizer and very filling, but the overall spicy heat made it borderline inedible for me. Our second dish, the Butter Chicken, was very nice. There was plenty of dark meat chicken, tender and juicy, in the traditional, orange, creamy sauce. It was not only delicious with its exotic spice blend, it helped cool down the insides of my mouth while I was struggling with our other two dishes. Our final selection was the Aloo Gobi, basically, potato and cauliflower and a boatload of mixed spices. Sadly, this was too hot-spicy for wimpy me to enjoy. Again, we had requested each dish be prepared as "mild". I'm pretty sure they could have toned it down more than they did. Overall, a solid 4 stars is what I feel is fair. The prices were good, the servings were respectable, we had no complaints about the service, and the decor was very pretty. For those, unlike me, who can better handle the heat, it might have ranked higher.
