On a day trip from NYC and a train mishap took me out this way, where I'd bookmarked Dottie's ages ago. The person working inside was so lovely and went the extra mile for the guy in front of me, and I was pretty blown away by the selection. This is on par with Dun-Well for New Yorkers. I got a cherry yeast and a cinnamon roll. The cherry donut had some serious heft for a yeast donut but it was filling and the cherry flavor SO on point (somewhat tart, not a candy cherry flavor at all). Glad I got lost!!!

These donuts are slappiinnnn. I had the dunkaroo donut which is a specialty donut I believe. And it was sooooooo goooooddds. It wasn't too sweet either so I enjoyed it very much. I got the blueberry vanilla also which was pretty good but I enjoyed the dunkaroo one much more. In total, I paid $7.29 for 2 donuts. There isn't much seating in there since it's a super small store.

The best vegan donuts I've had in the city. I used to walk from Northern Liberties to the one off South Street before this location opened. I love that they switch up the flavors, but I'm usually pretty loyal to the Boston cream.

So this Dottie's is in Fishtown. There is street parking around so you can run in and grab all the goodies. The shop is small but the is a counter at the front to have a seat and enjoy a coffee and donut. Of course Dottie's is vegan so your in good hands here with all of the yummy flavors. The flavors change from time to time to keep things interesting but they always have the basics... at least that is what their website says. The day I visited I had a chance to get a vanilla, iced strawberry, iced lemon, poppy and rosewater pistachio. All of the donuts were really good. I have to say that the lemon poppy exceeded my expectations. Besides the fact that the donuts do not taste vegan at all, the lemon flavor and the lemon poppy was amazing. By far the best donut that I have had in a long time. I can't wait to visit again and check out new flavors that come to the shop. I also noticed that on the menu they have cinnamon, buns, brownies, and apple fritters. I would definitely recommend stopping by early. They are open from 8 AM until 3 PM, but it seems that they often sell out of flavors fast.

Bought some donuts for friends passing through Philly. Donuts were fresh, large and delicious. Hands down the best Boston Cream I have ever had! Cute interior! Do not miss if you're on Frankford Ave!

I ordered a green iced tea which was delicious, and then sat and worked. Wi-fi is solid here, and the outlets are plentiful. I especially like having seats with backs and sizable tables at the right height... when you're working from cafes the small details make a difference. Even though the espresso machine was down, the staff were still friendly and pretty calm about the whole ordeal (although some customers were not). Appreciate a friend face, a quiet space to work, and a nice vibe to relax in for the day. Will stop by again when I'm in Old City!

The sandwiches were tasty, although the bread was a bit too crispy. I usually love crispy bread, but this was very, very crispy and slightly overdone for my preference. The biggest disappointment was the egg -- it had that pre-made/frozen egg texture and appearance, which I didn't expect from this type of establishment. Overall, I'd still return for the coffee and the cute atmosphere.

About two blocks away we opened the door to such a great aroma and we were greeted warmly by one of the very nice ladies...seemed like the manager. We ordered a Cappuccino with an extra shot of espresso a cafe au lait. Server was super friendly and our drinks came out quickly. Reasonably priced (less than $10 for two mediums). I'm not from Philly so I'm sure I'd never be here again, but it's a really cute shop with seating adjacent to the ordering area and a nice vibe.

Idk I've never been like this before. But I enjoyed this one. I put in my own honey at the self serve station. This station is where a line naturally forms, so I'd be aware of this as I see this could be stressful for the baristas went taking/handing out orders. The matcha was smooth, a little overpowered by whatever syrup you add to it. They told me they batch make the matcha with vanilla syrup that cannot be taken out. So any add ons is too much in my opinion. The color was a good deep shade of green though. I prefer having this problem with my matcha over only being able to taste milk. A problem I've had with so many other coffee shops. Syrups are made in house!
