Fantastic for a kid's birthday party - not only do they deliver 100% on the fun and food, but they also only charge you for the kids that actually show up. Got an Uber there only to find out we couldn't bowl unless we were Sonoma college students but we looked online to make sure we could go and there was nothing stating it wasn't open to the public, not only did we spend money to go there we spent money seconds later to leave, they need to advertise that. Came for a kid's birthday party. It has been several years since we have been here, but like the upgrades to the scoring machines. The kids enjoyed the different video screen options. Also, the bumper on the allies were attached to the bowler, so it made it easier for kids and adults to bowl on the same teams. The kids also enjoyed the dinosaur ball rolling helper thingy (don't know what else to call it!) The only downside was the strange texture of the pizza brought out for the party. Really kind of disappointed in the overall experience. So many people were there we had to come back hours later and the we only just squeezed in. The rental shoes were well past their due date so much I didn't wear them. See photo. For the amount they rent them for they should be good shoes and not have broken liners and holes in them. Don't bowl league here if you like oil. This place used to have the best oil in the county. For whatever reason in 2016/2017 they stopped putting oil down on the lanes. Everyone I talk to says it sucks and they're going to Windsor to bowl on their nice newly reconstructed lanes that actually have oil on them. Next season, I will be doing the after bowling here for nearly two decades, and I'll be taking at least my team along with me. Love all the workers here though. Just wish they'd take a few bucks extra outa our never ending league fee increases to put into some oil. Come on Jimmy! read more

This place is way overpriced. $11.50 per game. If you pay with a debit card they automatically make you tip. You don't have the choice to add a tip if you want. You only have the choice to tip 15, 20, 25 and 30 percent. So when you pay for you gm game you haft to tip. When you buy something to drink or eat you haft to tip. Anything you purchase you haft to tip. The staff there is extremely unfriendly and they look like they hate working there. read more

This place made me feel like a 14 year-old again! Last Friday, my friend and I had set out for a canoe excursion along the Russian River. But as luck would have it, we got rained out. Since we were already in Rohnert Park when the rain started to pour, we had to quickly come up with a Plan B. Solution? Let's go bowling! We did a quick Yelp search and discovered Double Decker Lanes. Located near a golf course, this bowling alley looks like it's been permanently stuck in a time warp. Everything from the interior design to the music playing on the stereo was from the mid-80s. And just for the record - I don't think that's a bad thing at all. My friend and I wound up bowling 2 games for $25. In between games, we poked our heads into the Double Decker "lounge" (one of the dingiest bars you'll ever see). But again, I'm not judging. It's all a part of the kitsch experience. We wound up ordering two Jack & Cokes. The young bartender (who had clearly never tended bar before) poured us two giant buckets of whiskey and two glasses of coca cola chasers. The total was just $12. We almost felt guilty for drinking all their booze for so cheap. Almost. : ) Double Decker also boasts a mini arcade/play center (with air hockey, hoops, video games, etc.). And if you're hungry, they have a snack shack that serves deeply fried grub. All in all, we had fun time at Double Decker. It was the perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon. read more

This bowling alley, although dated, has a petty cool Rock 'N bowl session. the lights come down, the black lights turn on, and projectors slowly lower to play music videos of cool hip-hop/dance tunes to move to. Bowling in general is always a fun sport to fool around with no matter what your skill level is. Double Decker seems to have their act together to provide a great family/friendly game. read more

This place really is pricy. Came here on a Friday night and paid almost $20 for two games and shoes. The place is nice, though, it's huge. They have a large selection of balls. The lanes work as you'd expect and the ball return is super fast. I don't think the parking lot is that safe, my friend got his car stolen here once. Bowling alley = A+ Front desk service = B+ Bar service = F Seriously take my advice and DO NOT open a tab at the bar. It only took me once to walk up to the bar and watch the girl ask my name, then proceed to shout it out loud at the top of her lungs for everyone to hear. I then asked, "if anyone walks up and says my name that you just shouted, that they can put their drinks on my tab?" She said "yes". As I look around and see 4 people listening in to the whole conversation. "I'll close my tab now thank you, YES CLOSE IT!". And just like everyone else your first time you walk in the bar, fight your way to the bar to order a drink and then the lady tells you that you have to go to the front desk to get bracelet. Ok. Go wait in line again at the front, get carded, get bracelet, go back to bar and wait again for drinks. Would love to understand the logic why the individual selling and mixing the drinks can't take responsibility for verifying age of the patrons. It would have been nice that the front desk ppl would have saved the steps by asking us if we would be drinking. The fact we asked to be placed on a lane close to the bar should have clued them in. Besides the bar. Love this place. Will go back again for many more years, just won't be buying any booze there. Pre drink or bring your own, just stay away from the bar. What can you say about this place that already hasn't been said! It's such a fun place to bring the family. Bowling should be something every family does together and double decker lanes is such a family oriented spot. The gm is named Curtis and he's a pro bowler, and a very nice man. Very funny too. He makes you want to just come out to see him. I want to join a summer league really bad after going on a Wednesday night in June. There was some league going on that night and they sounded like they were having a really fun time. A lot of cheering which was really enticing and kind of funny because I never saw bowling in that light before. Food is decent. The pizza could be a little more tasty, but the burgers are really good. Drinks and service are great! The lanes and computer system are really nice. Overall the setup is on par. After coming here several times during the past year, I noticed that the establishment does its best to treat everyone equally. They have leagues for everyone - great bowlers, not so great bowlers, young bowlers, old bowlers, disadvantaged bowlers. Today I even saw a person in a wheelchair carefully roll towards the lane and then someone handed them the bowling ball to throw. It was a fantastic thing to witness. I been coming here for the past 8 years since my high school days lol. They have since undergone major renovations but also keeping their same current rates. I wish they didn't play so much pop 40 hits on their screens though. Mondays and Wednesdays are Rock n Bowl sessions from 9-11 pm. But they usually start at eight pm and for nines dollar a person and 2 hours of bowling, this is a really good deal. Just prepare to wait as waits are usually an hour long if you come around 9pm. the food here is surprisingly good. They got the usual chicken tenders, garlic fries, pizza and sodas. read more

I come here to roll and shoot the shit with my friends over a friendly game. some of the people here are total creepers, very electic crowd if I do say so myself. They do have Racer 5 on tap and a full bar so thats cool and a nice treat. the food is nothing to brag about. the games get pricey too but not too crazy. Great lanes. The oil is very consistent and not super heavy like other bowling alleys. Nice full bar, good selection of beers. The only real knock on this place is the prices. $4.50 per game? ouch! I guess I am used to league prices at other alleys, but yikes! My husband and I came here Valentine's weekend on our way through town just to try something new. It was neat because a kid's birthday party took up a section of the lanes and the local Lion's Club (all clad in V-day celebration decor) took up some others. It was festive but not too crowded. It's a clean place. It has a bar. It has a room for private parties. It has an adorable little arcade section with some pool tables. We didn't eat any of the food so head to another review for more on the grub. The scoring computers were easy to use. Balls lighter than 10lbs (for children or weaklings like myself) can be obtained at the front desk. The atmosphere and all my interactions with staff were pleasant. If you aren't a Caucasian human being (FYI) there's not much (well, actually there's none) diversity here, but if that doesn't bother you, bowl away! :) It's your typical bowling alley. Great place for everyone to have fun!! Theres plenty of lanes, there's a mixture of music and it's a fun environment. The food bar is bomb!! I've been coming pretty consistently since 2016 and I'm never disappointed. The food bar menu has recently changed and it's still good. I got a hamburger today and noticed it was too pink in the middle still. I alerted the staff and they apologized and made me a new one no questions asked. The cook alerted me that the new patties are thicker, but once it was cooked properly the burger was amazing. Family bowling on a Sunday night is fun, $40 for the family! read more

I love this place. I have been coming here for many many years. I have done many of my kids birthdays parties and have bowled with just my adult friends and each time have had tons of fun. I think they have recently renovated the bowling alley as I just went bowling with my family and the shoes were nice and clean and everything seemed really really clean. When you own a bowling alley I believe that cleanliness is very important and this place has that down. I would recommend anyone coming here with or without their kids to have a good time. read more

Im new to the area and just happend to walk by, stopped into the bar to get a drink. I walked up and there were three employees behind the bar. I am standing there now for about three mins and no one a knowledge me. I finally say hello and a bartender turns around rudely and says oh no we close in five mins then turns back around to talk to her employees. The bowling alley is getting a face lift with new carpeting, chairs, etc. Looks great!! Sometimes the automatic pin setters don't work great but usually get fixed fairly quickly. I am in a morning league and during the really cold months it is so uncomfortably chilly in the bowling alley it is really hard to bowl. The customers should not have to wear coats, scarves, etc. to enjoy their games. A little heat would be wonderful prior to opening their doors to take the real cold chill out of the air. PLEASE GIVE US SOME WARMTH SO WE CAN ENJOY OUR LEAGUE GAMES IN THE MORNING!!!! read more

Let me start of by saying that I love bowling, and I really enjoy coming here... I would give the alley a 5 star rating. This particular rating is purely based on rude service by one employee. Let me secondly say that I suck at bowling since I injured my dominate arm and am re-learning to bowl with my other arm. In order to still bowl I use the bumpers to "even the playing field". I even went and asked if it was okay if we used them and a gentleman behind the counter told me how to operate them. We set them up and it was going fine. Then all of a sudden the bumpers were deactivated... so we put them back up. A rude woman then came up and deactivated them while informing us that we are no longer 10! and therefore it is inappropriate of us to use them. I feel incredibly disrespected by this and it definitely altars my view on this establishment. I was in no way misusing the bumpers and neither were my friends. It was unnecessary for this employee to scald and embarrass us in that manner. If they are not appropriate to use then we shouldn't have been told otherwise... and the all adult group next to us should have been told the same thing. read more

Did not have a good experience here. Brought my kids to meet up with some coworkers for a fun night of bowling. Into our 3rd game I took my daughter to get some food and when we got back to our lane our game was gone and a couple was bowling a new game. I told the kid behind the desk who was apparently the manager and was told that if you leave your game for more then 5 minutes, the system starts taking away frames..... wait what???? I asked, "so if someone goes to the snack bar and the order takes longer then 5 minutes, your going to rent our lane to someone else???" He said the system is "screwy" like that but yeah, sorry. I asked for a refund and he refused to give me one. It was like it was a joke to him. I've never experienced anything like that at other bowling alleys. This was our first time at this bowling alley and definitely our last. There were at least 15-20 lanes that weren't being used so why they decided to put someone else on our lane between our group of friends when we were only halfway through a game is beyond me. read more

Cashier ripped my kid off his arcade money, called two 10 year olds liars and when we asked to check the camera he said cameras are not on the register while 3 of his colleagues stood there and didn't say a word -----so make sure don't hand out cash to your kids for arcade or anything else ---it might be gone !!!!! read more
