If you're a sports fan looking to enjoy a game with fellow enthusiasts, this is the place to be. We stopped by for dinner after a hike, and it was packed with people wearing orange! We were fortunate to find the one table that was open and got seated fairly quickly. There were TVs showing the game everywhere, so every seat offered a good view. However, if sports aren't your thing and you're hoping for a nice, quiet dinner where you can chat, it's best to check the sports schedule and skip this spot. It was difficult to hold a conversation with all the fans and their emotional outbursts. LOL. The service was slow but friendly whenever a server came around. The food was pretty good. We started with Gene's Wings, accompanied by traditional hot sauce and Thai garlic sauce. The wings were tasty but quite small, so if you're hungry, don't just order six. The hot sauce was as expected and delicious, but I wouldn't recommend the Thai sauce. I'll skip that one next time. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss Burger, while my partner chose the Chicken Pot Pie. The burger was decent but not remarkable. I often know a burger will be average when they don't ask how I want it cooked--it's usually just smashed and well done. On the other hand, the pot pie was excellent and a generous portion. The crust wasn't overly sweet, and my partner, who is quite particular about pot pies, really enjoyed it. Overall, it was a good experience, and we'd consider coming back if we're in the area.

Went here for lunch on a busy Saturday. Place was crowded. Sports bar vibe all the way. Multiple big screen TVs with sports on each of them. We each had a beer and shared the Sicilian pizza. A truly good pizza it was. Haley provided very good service throughout. A winner in my book.

We went to watch the Man Utd final match and they didn't have it on but our server was so nice and got it playing on a few TVs for us. The space is clean and our server was so nice and attentive! I went with my family and also was working while there. The food was great! I got the ballpark dogs and the jalapeño cheese sticks. They even took my mom's fries back and gave her hotter ones because they weren't warm enough for her. Overall great location!

Had a wonderful lunch at Double Dogs after church recently. The restaurant was busy, as you'd expect for the time of day, but service was excellent in every way. For my meal, I chose one of the specials - grilled cheese and a bowl of potato & corn chowder. The grilled cheese was great; the bread was perfectly grilled & buttery, with lots of melty cheese. Soup was delicious as well. The rest of our group ordered 2 Bo Burgers, a pepperoni pizza, and chips & queso. Everyone seemed pleased with their food. We all loved that TV's were fully tuned in to various sporting events, including women's basketball. We had a great time, and I'm sure will visit again soon!

10/1/23- first if you want to watch the NFL this place is where you need to be. Walked in and we were greeted by really polite host. We got sat immediately. The table was clean and the atmosphere was lively but in a positive way. We ordered chicken Mac and cheese, hot wings, Bo burger, and stroganoff. The French fries here are always good The stroganoff is soooo good my favorite. If you don't like mushrooms don't order it The chicken Mac and cheese was so good literally taste like franks chicken dip the burger was alright. Our server was a very polite young man he kept the sodas full and constantly asked if we needed anything. All in all the food is not a 5 but service, cleanliness, TVs makes it a 5

We really enjoyed our first visit to Double Dogs. We arrived a little after happy hour ended, and we were able to sit right away since about half of the seats were open. Space is not too high, but not cramped at all. A great neighborhood hangout feel. Our server was there right away and had great advice. She was courteous and attentive the entire evening. Something I am still getting used to in Tennessee after moving up from Miami recently. Personal note to those considering a trip to Miami: incredible food, but for the most part very uncaring people. We had onion rings to start (large portion and a unique crunchy coating), then a Breakfast Dod and a Breakfast Burger. Everything was seasoned well and tasted very good. I was especially surprised by the way the eggs were prepared... perfect over medium so you get the liquid yolk without it all running out onto the plate. Yummy. Everything was delicious with the possible of the slaw which was not for me. It is very unusual with a thousand island base (which was ok), but there was a potent spice aftertaste (nutmeg or cloves). Overall a wonderful experience and we cannot wait to explore more of the menu next time.

Visited with a big group from church after church Sunday. I got a mushroom Swiss burger with fries, my husband got a chili dog and my 2 girls split a side of macaroni and cheese. They like the big noodles and cheese on top. My girls are 7 & 5 and are fine splitting a side of macaroni. They actually finish the whole thing together now. I do share some fries with my 5yo but otherwise they are good with the macaroni. The fries are more like the shoe string fries and are thinner and crispier. The burgers are juicy and good. I always get no mayo and mustard on mine. My husband always says he likes the chili dog. Overall it's good and at a solid 4 stars. The server cleared my plate before I was done (I had turned to the other table where my kids were and was checking on them) but they brought me more fries so it worked out.

I loved my evening at Double Dogs! Good food, good friends and great service! Connor, our waiter, was excellent! He was courteous, attentive and friendly! He helped to make it a great evening! In addition, the host who walked us to our table was courteous and friendly as well! I was visiting the area and couldn't have chosen a better restaurant to visit! If you are in Knoxville, Double Dogs is the place to go!

It's been a while since we went to Double Dogs in HV. The food and service were great. As always, their Buffalo wings were on point. And believe it or not, their green beans were delicious as well (with the BLT sandwich).

I had a couple of beers, paid my bill, I went back to my hotel to get some work done, then came back for dinner. Monday night's special is any po'boy and they throw in a cold beer for free! I can't pass that up... I got the roast beef drippings po'boy with horseradish mayo and a side cup of pimento cheese grits; everything was excellent, but the sandwich was really messy. Still tasted really good, though. Three beers, a great sammich (although I'll probably get the oyster or catfish option next time), and a side of creamy grits for $40 total between two visits (that includes tips). I will definitely be back to this place next time I'm in Chattanooga. It looks like there are great specials each night Monday through Friday; I just happened to be here on Monday. Service was very prompt and able to offer some insight on the po'boys, which was helpful. *NOTE* the walk is through apartments and townhouses so pretty safe but no sidewalk for part of it.

The flatbread Cajun chicken pizza was not what was expected, zero Cajun taste on the chicken or pizza but it was still really good with the hot sauce on the side. The Mac and cheese bites were crispy but lack luster and tasted like boxed Mac and cheese barely filled in and the sauce was equally disappointing. The fried oyster and shrimp po-boy was next level. The bread was soft, the oysters and shrimp were crisp and tasty. I asked for the remoulade and tartar sauce on the side and both were good, it was hard to choose a favorite. On Mondays they have a po-boy special if you get one you get a free pint of draft beer. Happy hour is Monday-Friday 3-6 25% off apps.

I had The Motherclucker - Springer Mountain Farms Southern Fried Chicken, Spiced Pickles, Hot Sauce, Duke's Mayo, Niedlov's Bun. Hunter recommended adding Pepper Jack cheese and Bacon, as well as the Brussels Sprouts with Maple & Bacon. Everything was wonderful. There were way too many Brussels sprouts. It also would have been nice if they were cut into smaller pieces. They had a special dessert of Blackberry Cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream. We were walked through the establishment and seated at a booth table near the bar. If you are into sports you can see the TVs from just about every seat. The waitress arrived shortly after our seating and took our appetizer and drink order. We started with the Triple B. The fries came out quickly, were hot, fresh and delicious. The drink I ordered was out, but the waitress gave another option, but unfortunately that was out as well. Ended up having an old favorite, Guinness. For our meals we ordered the smoked brisket French dip and the wagyu burger. Upon ordered the burger our waitress informed us there was a shortage of patties and if we still wanted the burger we would get one patty instead of two, but at a lower cost. Both dishes were amazing and we couldn't finish them as both the fries and the entrees were larger in comparison to other places we have eaten. Overall this was a great experience with great food. The only thing we had difficulty with is having to use the phone flashlight to read the menu as the lighting was really dim. Will definitely return if we take another trip here.
