It's been a very long time since I stepped foot into a Chinese restaurant. I had a craving for some Sweet and Sour Chicken and decided to come here since I never been to this establishment. It's located on the side of the building in the shopping center so I had a hard time finding it first. I go inside and there isn't much room for dining. I place my order and it was ready in a timely manner. However when I got home, I dig in and some of the chicken is a tad overcooked and had a hard time chewing a few of the pieces. Honestly considering calling my credit card to see if I can get my money back after feeling like I got scammed (I'll let the reader decide if that was a joke or not) But seriously, this is probably the most disappointing Chinese take out I've ever had. The chicken I had particularly was so soggy and not crispy at all, it was like it had been sitting out for a hour or so. Besides that the quality of it was not particularly good when compared to other Chinese I have had. I guess maybe my expectations were high considering the price point. It was 22 bucks for chicken, a side of rice, and one singular egg role. Maybe the Chinese place by me in sellersburg Indiana that is cheaper and a lot better just makes me have high expectations. We ordered from here tonight because we had a craving. Let me just say, this place just ruined any chance of me or my husband ever craving Chinese food again. We are EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with our order. My bourbon chicken was tough and had obviously been reheated and lacked flavor. My husband's Mongolian beef dish was FILLED with onions and maybe an ounce or two of beef. The menu said "scallions" but clearly this was an entire onion chopped up and used as a filler. I don't mind spending extra for delivery and on eating out, when the food is edible. My entire dinner went into the trash and as you can see from the photo, most of my husband's will too! read more

I've ordered house chow mein my entire life and got stir-fried noodles with veg and combination meat... brown, soft noodles... greasy, tasty goodness.... But ever since arriving to Kentucky when I go to order it I get this pale, goopy, anemic looking chicken and mysterious other meats with packaged fried noodles in a separate bag... then I'm told that "chow mein has always been this way... you meant to order lo mein"... no, I absolutely didn't. Authentic chow mein has boiled, then fried noodles... greasy perfection.. but for those who want to make it quick you can use the pre packaged fried noodles... it's gross and I'm tired of restaurants taking the easy way out... especially since prices are so expensive. read more

All drinks out of machine. Establishment was very nasty. Sticky tables, vents full of nasty dust, rugs look like never vacuumed, water stained ceiling tiles, top of candy machines never clean, floor was sticky. Food was ok. I would not return to eat here. read more

The orange chicken was disappointing. I've eaten orange chicken enough to know what it is. Ive cooked it several times. Todays orange chicken from Double Dragon II was not remotely close to being what they claimed. I brought it to the cashier and explained my disappointment. They said that's how they cook it. I was not offered any replacement or refund. I will simply not return to their establishment. I do not recommend their orange chicken. Egg rolls were disappointing as well. I used to visit this location a lot when I lived in the area. I ordered a small shrimp fried rice. It was okay, your standard fried rice. I went around lunch time and it was busy, I had to wait a few minutes. I also ordered the crab Rangoon. I didn't get to take no pictures of it because I killed them on the way home. Everything was fresh and hot. The crab Rangoon was okay, I'm use to other Chinese restaurants that have a little sweet taste to it and theirs wasn't. read more

I'm one of those damn New Yorkers (because I lived there a brief time as a child) who knows all about food and sprained their ankle moving to Kentucky because I'm so incredibly fancy. But, I love their food at Double Dragon II - although I don't know if that means "Double Dragon Two" or "Double Dragon the Second," what's going on here? It's like being home but without the Mediterraneans in white tank-tops in public, gross. The service is friendly and prompt and they have Diet Coke so that's a plus, too. Their portions are generous and their frequent specials are always great. Also, I don't have to mortgage one of the kids to eat here. Always a plus. I'd say more but my coworker is trying to hijack my crab raccoons. read more

I enjoy dragons and I definitely enjoy doubling my dragons and I even Trip Lee enjoy doubling my dragons twice. Now all that being said this is Double Dragon number 2 out here on the Dixie and guess what it's just like every other Chinese joint get you some General Tso's chicken with a little bit of rice and it's good to go but it is a 4 out of 5 for me because it isn't quite up to my favorite place Max morning which is a 5 but Double Dragon Chinese food get yourself a little bit up and bourbon chicken little rice or drink the other day I highly recommend read more

So I have tried this restaurant twice and I must say that I am not impressed. The first time I went, we tried the chicken fried rice, egg drop soup, and bourbon chicken. All of the food was good but wasn't spectacular. The second time that we went we did the bourbon chicken again and the Singapore noodles. The noodles is where we went wrong. They were hot and fresh but tasted like chicken ramen with pepper. So disappointed. Now the important question... would I eat there again? Yes, if I am just looking for something basic and quick but this wouldnt be my first go to restaurant. read more

If customer traffic is any judge, when I walked in, I had to stand in line, and stand while my food was prepared. There was no seating left. I was pleased with my order of War Su Gai, although no one makes it as good as you used to get at the House of Chen, unfortunately they closed 20 to 30 years ago after the owner died. Anyway, Double's version of War Su was good. And I didn't see any of the customers eating and waiting, griping about their orders. I will try them again. read more

I have been to this takeout place 2 times and the food is very good. The service is pretty fast on average it takes around 8 minutes to get your full order. They also do well in packaging the food and adding sauces. The con is the price which I think is little high but I can understand how they have to make a profits. I would recommend the fried dumplings and chicken fried rice. Overall i highly recommended Double Dragon for people who want to have a taste of Asian cuisine. read more

This place has been here forever. Always a great call ahead order. Run in and pick it up with no problems. Crab ragoon is good here, which is one of the few places that gets it right in my opinion. Sweet and Sour chicken is always a safe bet. Most of the time I will get the General Tso's chicken as I am starting to like a little more spice in my food. I usually go here because I like their egg rolls, havent tried too many other things. Well today I called in a carry out of two egg rolls, and an order of chicken wings, so the first thing I notice when I pull up was their door had not been cleaned in a long time, I mean really how long does that take, not looking real sanitary. Anyway, this review is actually about the order of wings, they were the worst wings I have ever had in my life, I actually had to laugh when I opened the carton, there were 8 wings, literally the size of a toddlers finger ( never seen a wing that small) on top of that I hoped they tasted good, well there was no meat on them due to the size and the taste of old grease over took them.
