What we paid for our dinner that was basically garbage. It's not even true anymore that you get what you pay for.

We ordered from here tonight because we had a craving. Let me just say, this place just ruined any chance of me or my husband ever craving Chinese food again. We are EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with our order. My bourbon chicken was tough and had obviously been reheated and lacked flavor. My husband's Mongolian beef dish was FILLED with onions and maybe an ounce or two of beef. The menu said "scallions" but clearly this was an entire onion chopped up and used as a filler. I don't mind spending extra for delivery and on eating out, when the food is edible. My entire dinner went into the trash and as you can see from the photo, most of my husband's will too!

I tried to enjoy it... but it's not what I've craved since moving here.

I've ordered house chow mein my entire life and got stir-fried noodles with veg and combination meat... brown, soft noodles... greasy, tasty goodness.... But ever since arriving to Kentucky when I go to order it I get this pale, goopy, anemic looking chicken and mysterious other meats with packaged fried noodles in a separate bag... then I'm told that "chow mein has always been this way... you meant to order lo mein"... no, I absolutely didn't. Authentic chow mein has boiled, then fried noodles... greasy perfection.. but for those who want to make it quick you can use the pre packaged fried noodles... it's gross and I'm tired of restaurants taking the easy way out... especially since prices are so expensive.

Look at ceiling.

All drinks out of machine. Establishment was very nasty. Sticky tables, vents full of nasty dust, rugs look like never vacuumed, water stained ceiling tiles, top of candy machines never clean, floor was sticky. Food was ok. I would not return to eat here.

21. Shrimp Fried Rice

I used to visit this location a lot when I lived in the area. I ordered a small shrimp fried rice. It was okay, your standard fried rice. I went around lunch time and it was busy, I had to wait a few minutes. I also ordered the crab Rangoon. I didn't get to take no pictures of it because I killed them on the way home. Everything was fresh and hot. The crab Rangoon was okay, I'm use to other Chinese restaurants that have a little sweet taste to it and theirs wasn't.

Food is mediocre. Fast service. Chicken was over cooked and over breaded. Fried rice was good.

Just last week I visited the Michelin Bib Gourmet recommended Sichuan restaurant in Memphis and trust me this one is even better than that. The menu starts with a stereotypical american Chinese menu but pass those pages and you will the real deal - the authentic Sichuan menu is so well curated. Each dish looks tempting. The Sichuan cucumber salad and Sichuan jelly were so refreshing. Dont miss the dry hotpot section; highly recommend!! The drinks menu is limited to bottles beers and soft drinks. I will surely go back next time!

Since we've been roadtripping through TN and KY for the past week, it was so nice to eat some authentic Chinese food while traveling through Louisville. Can't believe this place exists in Louisville of all places!! Spectacular.

Family dinners are available as well. I enjoyed my flavorful wonton soup, ate plenty of sweet and sour chicken, took bites of the Mongolian beef, and sampled most of the dishes around the table. I realize now that I didn't snap photos of everything! Service was attentive and friendly. Plenty of parking. I'm excited to return with my family.

I will never come back to this place…read more Let me start by saying I used to love this restaurant. It was one of our favorite. But now, it's on our list to never eat here again. It started with me placing an online order. This is new on their website while I was looking at the menu. I figured this would be best than calling the restaurant. How I was so wrong. I placed it with a 30 minute window. Ordered at 4:44 to be pick up at 5:14pm. I showed up to the restaurant at 5:03pm. There was about 4 other people at the counter. One person just placed their order, another person said her mom called to place the order but wasn't sure when it would be ready. They told everyone 20 min. I showed my ordered and they were going to be me 20 minute. I said I placed my order 20 minutes ago. Ok so I waited... Another lady came in and said that she placed her order around the same time online. Her order number was 140 and she had a long receipt with quite a lot of items. My order was 148, somehow. By the time I asked what's going on with my order at 5:15, they said they go by the order number and they're on 138. I don't think they processed my order until I arrived at 5:03pm. It took until 5:39pm before I receive the order in my hand. I only had very few items, one of which was an order for combination lo mein, plain mantou, shrimp tofu and wonton noodle soup. Mind blowing because I paid $50. The online system also charge a $1 fee, which I did not know about until I saw the receipt. Which would had been fine if my order was done in the time it was promised. Now, the staff was not the most friendly either... the person that handed me the bag almost dropped it because she put it in my hand, didn't say a word and turned and walked away. They cannot be any more rude than that. I was sweating profusely and shaking while waiting for a very long time while I am pregnant and nauseous. Now here's the review for the food. It was not good. We have had some on and off with their food and we haven't been back for a while so I wanted to give them another chance. But their lo mein was soo salty, and they used pad thai noodles. The wonton noodle soup was small container, so bland, literally no flavors, and the wonton tasted so bad. They put really hot tofu that was deep fried in styrofoam container that it put a hole through the container. So my paper bag was soaked and wet within the 6 minutes drive home. The mantou was so tiny for $4.5. Not worth it. All in all, the 4 items that I ordered did not worth the $50 for almost an hour wait, not worth my time or money. I wouldn't have eaten the food if I didn't already paid. Had I not already paid online, I would just had left.

Recently though, I wound up throwing out my hunan chicken. It actually tasted of plastic or chemicals. Maybe it was just so steaming hot when it went into the plastic tupperware? I have gotten the veggie egg foo young a few times and enjoyed it, though the gravy sauce has a tiny but of a licorice taste so use that in moderation! This particular time, the veggies were so bland and tasted more like water. Definitely missed seasoning. I'm not sure, but when it comes to take-out, I prefer something a bit more consistent. Overall, a fine spot with great prices for portion size.

There were a couple of high top stools at the counter at the window, facing the street but really not a dine in restaurant. The gentlemen who took our order was kind. Only took about 10 minutes to prepare our vegetable stir fry that came with fried or white rice. We opted for the white rice. It was still plenty hot when we got it home and more than enough for the 2 of us. The veggies wete fresh and crisp, not over cooked. Yhere was brocolli, carrots, snow peas, pretty sure cucumbers, bok choy and celery in a tasty brown sauce. And ample rice. Great good, price and servive.

Thanks to Karli our waitress who was so very nice and asked us what we liked. She gave fantastic recommendations which we took her up on. We got two that were huge and so delicious. I really wanted the Lemongrass Miso Soup but thought it was too hot outside for soup. Karli said give it a try anyway and I'm glad I did. Outside btw was not bad at all. Very cool setting with high top full bench patio with cool greenery surrounding it. The overhead fans made it extremely nice as well.
