Ordered #8, no sauce. 9.50 ish, so reasonably priced for sure. The bread was good, but the ingredients were not fresh. And the older woman working there rolled her eyes at everything that my partner & I said -- she just seemed confused at every direction, and was being very pedantic. Just reading the other reviews, it sounds like she should probably not be talking to customers at all. We were the only customers in the shop the entire time. And when I said thank you 3 different times and they ignored me. The tables were dirty, bad service, bad food. If you don't believe they're rude, wait for their response (below)

Today I really wanted to go through a drive thru since I had my dog with me. This was the perfect choice! The service was great and the food was pretty good. I got the grilled pork bahn mi, it was good but a little in the dryer side. If you can tell by the photo, I was expecting it to be more "shredded" or "thin" but it was thick piece and a little in the dryer side. The bread was really crispy! Needed more veggies and mayo. The shrimp spring rolls were good and had ham in it! Fresh veggies, pretty good size. (I wouldn't just get this though). The peanut sauce was on the lighter side. The prices are AMAZING. For a bahn mi and spring rolls, it cost around $13 al together. They were also super quick. I would definitely come back here again.

This is officially my new favorite spot for Vietnamese coffee. They have 6 size options; the 24oz ($7) is my usual, and it's brewed perfectly--strong with ideal sweetness. I also had the pork banh mi ($7.25). It had tons of pork, but could use more veggies for my taste. Still good though! Highly recommend all around.

I love that they have different sizes of Vietnamese Iced Coffees! Very strong, right amount of sweetness, very tasty!

For the price and the amount of food we got, I would definitely be coming back! Fast service, went inside - will try out the drive thru next time. I got: - Special Combo Banh Mi - Lemongrass Grilled Pork Banh Mi - Shrimp Fresh Roll - 3x Vietnamese Iced Coffees Spent about $40 for all these items I really liked the variety in the Special Combo Banh Mi, breads were right amount of crispy and softness with veggies ratios. Lemongrass Grilled Pork Banh Mi had great flavors but it was a little chewy fatty which I didn't mind, I know some folks don't like that but because it was chewy it was a little hard to eat without pulling out the meat bites and causing the sandwich to deconstruct. It could also be just this batch of grilled pork - will be back to try out the other variations of Banh Mi! I enjoyed the Shrimp Fresh Rolls too - I'm glad it didn't just have shrimp and also had pork roll in it. Vietnamese Iced Coffee hit the spot! Some places make it too sweet or not strong enough but this was definitely strong and right amount of sweetness level for my taste. I'd come back just for the Viet Iced Coffees!

You won't really notice where parking is (or that there's more parking if you keep driving beyond this place) when you come here the first time. Even the entrance is a little nuanced unless you keep driving forward. When you do get here, you'll see a couple two-person tables for seating and what feels like a cafe inside. You order up at the front, and they offer a wide selection of Vietnamese sandwiches, coffee, milk tea and other things. I got the lemongrass pork banh mi with a spicy chai on the side. This is actually my first time having a lemongrass-flavored meat on a banh mi, but it wasn't bad at all! There was more sauce than what I would have liked, but I loved how big the sandwich was and how nicely flavored the meat was! Spicy chai was good too, it was a very calming drink to have during a rainy day. You bus your own tables here, so nothing to say about service. I look forward to trying their other sandwiches, especially their grilled pork banh mi and some of their other espresso drinks!

Banh mi and coffee drive-thru near Valley Medical Center. Probably the cheapest banh mi sandwich ($6.75-7.65 each) and spring rolls ($4 for 2) you can find these days. The rolls are alright, but the sandwiches are delicious. My go-to are #2 and #15. A few of the ladies working here are nice, but others rarely smile. Tip: Call ahead if you are ordering more than a couple sandwiches or drinks, or when you think it may be busy. Though you still have to wait in line if there are cars in front of you.

I was craving a Banh Mi, so I decided to stop by Double Wired Espresso. It was a cute and cozy place, and the ladies who ran it were nice and friendly. We ordered the #2 Banh Mi sandwich which is the Special Combo and the #8 Banh Mi sandwich which is the Grilled Chicken. The French bread was super soft and the sandwich was filled with meat and pickled vegetables. Something that I liked about this place was that there was a little drive-through. We walked in, but the next time we come to grab some Banh Mis we will be using the drive-through.

My boyfriend and I were on our way to head to a convention early and saw that this place was open early. We decided to stop by to grab breakfast first and we were the only ones dining in as their drive through had a small line. We were greeted by an employee and we came up to see the menu and they have quite the options from banh mis to different small bites from steamed buns to spring rolls. For today's visit, we ended up with the shrimp spring rolls, grilled chicken banh mi, combination banh mi, white chocolate mocha and a Vietnamese iced coffee. The inside is a bit dark with natural lighting coming from the outside. There were three tables and a couple of chairs in their small dining room. There is a small stand across their soft drinks refrigerator with condiments or other additions for your drinks or food. Service was alright, it wasn't really friendly and we did feel a bit rushed. However, our drinks and food was made rather quickly and it tasted delightfully delicious! The banh mis were filled heartily with vegetables and our choices of protein. The shrimp spring rolls were satisfying as well as their dipping sauce. I typically don't order Vietnamese iced coffee as it is usually too dark and bitter for me but this location has the perfect balance of sweet and strong. It definitely helped perk me up! Overall, we would love to stop by again as it is a solid spot for breakfast or lunch!

Pricing are very nice- it's hard to find a place with $4 flavored coffee or less than $7 banh mi! They only have 3 small tables to sit in inside but it's cool you can order drive through too! Will be great to come with my kids to grab the drive through Got the Vietnamese coffee, it was good. The banh mi is warm and soft with a crispy outside. The flavor wasn't amazing but was good for the price and convenience of the location

It's a treat to come here when able to! I enjoy the variations of banh mi & breakfast sandwiches; which they seem to prepare once ordered & you can tell the difference than most drive thrus. I almost always get their Vietnamese iced coffee, which does the trick caffeine wise & are delicious ! The couple who own it are very sweet. At times there are a few cars ahead & can take a little time to get your order, yet it's worth the wait !

Meh, the Vietnamese coffee wasn't that good. The pork banh me was very spicy and the cucumber cut super thick. The lady who helped me was nice and I didn't have to wait that long. I can't give it a bad review based on that. If you want a quick lunch or breakfast I still recommend this convenient little pit stop.

Decent banh mi place near my home. Very convenient because it's a drive-thru. It does take a second for the order to get done, especially if you want more than one sandwich. The people I've encountered coming here are always nice, never in a bad mood, just overall decent customer service. Banh mi is some of the best I've tried. Also, not crazy priced either. They don't skimp on meat here! I haven't tried any espresso at this place yet, or anything other than a banh mi, but I might consider it one day based off all the other good reviews people have left! read more

Love stopping here for some fresh rolls and a coffee!! I don't think I've ever been here when the food tasted like it had been prepared days before or anything like that! Every time I've gotten food or coffee it's always been fresh and the rolls have still been warm from the rice wraps being soaked because they're just made! I especially love the grilled pork ones! If your craving a quick delicious banh mi on the go this is the place for you! I've never been inside, only gone into the drive thru window which is a plus! Most of the times I've gone there are no cars and even when there are just like today they are pretty quick waited no longer than 5 min. The lady at the window is always warm and welcoming! I usually order either the cold cut, roast pork or grilled pork. Veggies are always fresh & bread is soft! Very consistent flavors & very convenient for people who are on the go! read more

If you need a quick & easy banh mi fix, this is the spot! Depending on my mood, I either get the grilled chicken or cold cut combo both with extra mayo + veggies. So good! I'll sometimes get it for for my work trips...eat it hours later & the bread is still soft and flaky. The ladies here are also so sweet. I think I came on a bad day or ordered lunch too early in the morning...everything was slightly off but not so terrible that I would dismiss this place altogether, especially bc I need a place that serves Vietnamese food for breakfast in my life. The bbq pork banh mi filling was delicious but the bread was hard and fall-apart-after-a-bite crumbly - the bread was probably old and just needed a steam reheat. The tapioca pearls in the boba were hard inside - needed about another minute of reheating. The a la carte fried rice was a little over salted/soy sauced but some pepper helped balance that out. Egg roll was delicious but a little less black fungus would've made it perfection. Sesame chicken combo was probably the most disappointing, chicken was tough and too fake sweet-and-sour red, and the chopped egg in the side of fried rice was rubbery and the rice was gummy. Their Pork steam bun, BBQ bun are delicious! Soft, chewy, good filling, and fresh. I love their #6 grilled pork banh mi. Monkey's best kept secret is out because I want them to stay in business forever... Monkey do best Vietnamese Sandwiches in terms of bread : filling ratio is on par at good price. This place has been my life savior the last few months! Vietnamese sandwiches, coffee, and a drive thru for convenience! I've stopped by here when I'm in a hurry or when I need a quick coffee fix, and everything will be ready within 5 minutes. There are a lot of different sandwich options available, but I usually stick to the double or triple cold cut. They're delicious and so reasonably priced. I love their Vietnamese coffee also. Strong and bold - exactly what I'm looking for when I need that caffeine kick. Don't forget to grab a stamp card if you're going to be frequenting here! read more

I've ordered individual sandwiches as well as 30 sandwiches catered for a party before... Always super good and everyone always asks where they're from. My go to's are the combination or grilled pork sandwiches. The service is very good and quick. I love this place. They beat those Vietnamese delis in Seattle any day. read more

The guy that served us was super rude. I ordered two iced americanos with white chocolate. He was pretty snippy and seemed annoyed at my order. Came back with hot coffees and when I told him they were supposed to be iced he slammed the window and made them iced. This time he didn't include cream and when I asked him if it had any cream he shooed me by waving his hand and told me to leave... didn't realize that getting what I asked for was too much to ask read more

At first, it looks like just a regular coffee shop, but they do a whole lot more than coffee. Their banh mi sandwhiches are some of the best in Renton, and really reasonably priced. I had the grilled chicken banh mi and spring rolls, everything was delicious and the customer service was great. Will definitely be back to try more. read more

I came in today and got a two pack cream puff and when I bit into it I found mold in inside. I have no idea how old these cream puffs were but this really could have made me sick. I don't usually like leaving bad reviews but this is a serious health concern. read more

Really can't go wrong with this place. Banh mis are greatly priced and they've got lemongrass pork! Yum! Idk if it's me but there are not enough places that carry it. It's much more elevated than a grilled pork Banh imo. Vietnamese iced coffee was great too. I drank it at lunch and was up way past my bedtime. I wish I lived closer because I'd be going everyday. read more

Definitely a fan of this place. The owner is incredibly friendly and sweet. When asking about substitutes for regular milk, she listed off a selection of others (soy, almond, rice, hemp - I believe), and was very patient towards other questions. Now for the food... love the banh mis there! I ordered the BBQ pork, the grilled pork, and a combination of BBQ pork and another kind of Vietnamese pork. The bread used was very crunchy, but not hard to the extent where you had to tug at the bread to get it to rip, the jalapenos were a bit spicy (mmm!), and all the other fillings in it (cucumber, cilantro, marinated carrot, etc.) just screamed LOVE ME. And love, I did. The grilled pork was definitely my favorite; it is the "typical" banh mi - the cut up pieces of pork that look like teriyaki pieces. The BBQ pork has the pink colored pork - also good. The two combination was also tasty, but I am not a fan of eating lots of meat. Just a personal thing! I've also had the taro, honeydew, kiwi, lychee, and green tea bubble teas. The taste is essentially like other bubble tea places, but better made; none of that undistributed, flavor-only-on-the-bottom thing that some bubble tea places do. Here, all of the flavor is distributed - which is enough to make me a regular! The taro she makes is the best. And the green tea is good as well (if you like that bitter aftertaste :). The cost of the banh mis roughly ranged from $3.25-$4.50 from what I recall. Good, reasonable prices. The bubble teas were about $3.50. Parking is easy! And there is wifi. read more

#1 roast pork banh mi is my go to! I also bought tofu bhan mi from four different restaurants (Double Wire Expresso, Pho Cat Sang, Taste Togo Bahnmi, and Vinason Pho & Grill) and she likes the ones from Double Wired Espresso the most since it has the most flavor. The service is quick and the owners are so hardworking, they are always there! I wasn't expecting to be able to order good bahn mi from a coffee shop when I stumbled into this cute shop, and the drive through makes them perfectly prepared for Covid. read more

This review is based off of the service alone, and below is commentary on the food/coffee. I rarely feel welcome in most restaurants/coffee shops/etc. It's kind of a big deal when I do. The attention was immediate, full of smiles more so, the real smiles that welcome you. The wait was around 5 minutes. During which the nice lady showed me a funny video of a dog dancing and explained it to me. This is important to me because she included me in her day, and was excited to do so. You can't find service with genuine heart, ever. I ordered Vietnamese coffee and a vegetarian sandwich. The coffee was good, the sandwich was tolerable. It is unfortunate that I wasn't impressed. However there is a drive thru to which I believe you can also order food from. I would return for the coffee and the good people. read more

i went there to try something different from my coffee shop, i asked him what was in a drink and the man just was extremely rude and unprofessional and treated me like i was stupid for not knowing what was on HIS menu. poor customer service, poor attitude and definitely not friendly whatsoever. read more

Like everyone said in previous reviews, the owner is definitely very friendly and nice which makes it harder to give this place 3 stars. Maybe I need to return and try other drinks though. I got the iced milk tea and my issue was that it was super sweet. The dairy portion (I'm not sure if was half and half/condensed milk) way overpowered the tea portion. I was left with very little taste of tea and lots of sweetness instead. I'm glad it was not a powder mixed tea like most boba places though so maybe I'll return again and ask for less milk and more tea for a better ratio. read more

Growing up in a large Vietnamese community in California, this place definitely hit the spot for my craving of a good ol' Banh Mi Cha Lua Pate. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a good Jolt from a cup of Ice Vietnamese Coffee. Not so much into Vietnamese sandwiches? Don't worry, they have a great selection of breakfast sandwiches and espresso drinks. Give it a try if you're in the area or just looking for some good sandwiches. read more

This is an absolutely amazing place to grab an inexpensive meal. The food is always really good the drinks are great, and the price is amazing. First of all, shoutout to the owner for coming up of such brilliant idea of drive-thru that sells viet sandwiches & bubble teas. Very convenient! I have gone here more than twice & I'm obsessed with their avocado bubble tea with rainbow jelly (high-five to those of you that loves avocado!) Unfortunately, not a fan of their banh mis and spring rolls. It didn't taste fresh (rice paper was hard and way too chewy) Their drinks makes up for it so still one of my go-to spot. The lady that works here is super sweet and nice. Always takes my order with a big smile. Plus, it's always raining in Washington, so it's a big plus not having to get off the car and get well just to fulfill my bubble tea cravings. read more

No way I just ordered 3 sandwiches two of the "#1 roasted pork sandwich" and the meat was absolutely not edible. Can't believe I tipped. This is why you don't tip on take out for places you've never been based on what seems like FAKE reviews. All of the "meat" on both sandwich's were 100 percent fat. I know it's cheap but that's ridiculous save your money. Cannot believe o was served this. read more

Also, don't mind bussing our plates, but the station felt cramped. The other thing that bothered us is that there was no water coming out of the faucet in their one lone restroom. One would think that, that would be in any restaurant's checklist before they open.
