    Lox croissant
    Lea S.

Overall a decent option for quick mall bites - I wish I could adjust my rating to 3.5/5. I tried the lox croissant - bread was flaky, warm, buttery, surprisingly light. Fillings were tasty and adequately proportioned. A small sandwich cost $9 before tax/tip, not surprising with inflation nowadays. However, I probably would have not paid that same price for some of the other sandwich options with less-premium ingredients compared to smoked salmon.

This place is a delight. There is one at the mall and one in Kent. The store started in Ukraine and still shows its Ukraine roots. Delicious croissant sandwiches - for any time of day -- and also cold drinks and coffee. Cute setting inside the mall. Lovely service. Good prices.

It is absolutely ridiculous that I paid $10 or $9 for a basic croissant. There's barely any filing. It doesn't look anything like they presented. They should really fix this especially for a place that just opened. This is horrible. The place looks good and service is good but it doesn't make up for bad quality food for high cost.

    Tuna & Egg - Small

We got the tuna and egg, the pastrami, and the pistachio croissants. The filling in all three were very minimal. I expected the pastrami croissant to be warm but it was cold. The tuna was very dry. The croissants could have also be more flavorful.

Epic fail-I had been dying to try this place out and this last trip to the mall I decided I would go for it. Service was okay, nothing to complain about but also forgettable. The menu looked promising. I ordered the berry mascarpone croissant. I was very excited to try it. When we opened the bag we quickly realized it was very underwhelming. So much for the berries(see picture). The croissant tasted old and was hard to pull apart. It was chewy and the mascarpone tasted like it has been refrigerated for a while. I was so disappointed. I think I paid $9 for this too. Agh! What a let down. Never again. Live and learn. Not worth the money.

I love croissants! Super excited to have spot this place across the mall. Got their small latte and a strawberry mascarpone. Their to-go packaging is nice. There is some seating so we decided to eat it right there. Service was friendly, organized and fast. Very clean! Highly recommend

The best croissant sandwich ever! Absolutely delicious! Great value Highly recommend this wonderful place in the center of Southcenter mall

    cute decor

Came across this place tonight at Southcenter mall and I will be coming back! I ordered a small tuna and egg croissant and a large i iced strawberry matcha latte-- I love savory food so the croissant was flaky and light and filled with ingredients that taste fresh! The matcha latte wasn't bland and pretty balanced with the slight sweetness from the strawberry as a go to combo! Food came out fast and its a cute little spot if you need a quick break to sit down and read a book or study

My daughter is a matcha fanatic and loves their strawberry matcha cold foam drink here. We got their strawberry and mascarpone croissant and it was delicious .

    Dessert

The croissants were excellent fresh and really tasty. The dessert menu is very large with plenty of choices. The place is very pleasant and cozy to sit in. Orders were served very quickly, and the prices were very reasonable.

Definitely part of the Corner Bakery Cafe chain, they are not picked randomly from place to place. In the Southcenter area, it's actually a great breakfast spot that has a fast food vibe, but a casual dining presence. And the food is actually really good. There are self service beverages, like soda and tea, but there is also self service coffee. It comes down to what you want to eat, and its short order speed, and done well. They do have a multitude of fresh baked dail items, but if you look up, you'll see a complex breakfast menu. Scrambled eggs, and bacon. What catches my eye is the stack of pancakes that welcome you to order them. Also don't forget their other specialty scrambled eggs along with egg burrito like wraps. The accompanying sauces are also equally tasty. Would I return? Absolutely. It's definitely a go to among the locals. And definitely something I'd return for! I've been wanting to try this place since I first heard of it…read more GETTING THERE: It seems tucked away in Tukwila, but it's actually extremely easy to get to and not to far off the exit from Hwy 599 coming from South Center. It's maybe about 2-3 min off the Interurban Ave exit. After a couple left turns, it's right on the corner of a 4-way stop. You can't miss it. PARKING: The place isn't very big but there is plenty of street parking available. There's also a small lot by the convenience store nearby. AMBIANCE: It's a very small place with Vietnamese decor and an aquarium. It was giving vibes of the sunroom at my aunt's house Vietnamese music playing in the background haha. There are limited seats if you choose to sit and enjoy your coffee. They have a couple tables on the side, or you can sit on the stools along the window. I think the place felt a little empty. It could use a couple more tables and chairs along the window instead of the stools. This layout kind of felt like a Baskin Robbins or a small local ice cream shop. SERVICE: I didn't see anyone at first when I walked in, but there was someone to ready to take my order by the time I got to the counter. She took my order then I took a seat at the table until she called me to grab me from my order. Not much else for service. FOOD: I mainly went here for the coffee, but I figured I should try the sandwich while I was there. I ordered the bánh mì đặc biệt (house special sandwich) and the cà phê trứng (egg coffee). The sandwich to me was alright at best. The flavors were unbalanced. I mostly tasted the chả over the other cuts and the meat was pretty cold. I get that it's called a "cold cut" for a reason, but it was really cold and kind of threw off the sandwich. The bread would've been better toasted, or at least have the option to toast it. The one thing I enjoyed was the amount of pate used. The coffee on the other hand was decent. I've been in search of more places that serve egg coffee and I usually get it every chance I get. I found it a bit weird that it comes iced. I usually get an option to choose if I want it hot or cold. It didn't specify on the menu and I was never asked. So I just assumed it was not iced because the only thing that was iced was the cà phê sữa đá. Well I was wrong... The egg part was super thick, fluffy, and creamy. It was the right amount of sweetness and saltiness too. Honestly it might be the best egg cream I've had on a coffee, but it would have been much better if the coffee was warm. I just think egg coffee should be served hot. It's a personal preference. The ice keeps the egg cream on top and I can't really mix the whole thing evenly. I would've enjoyed it more if every sip was a even mixture of egg cream and coffee. OVERALL: At the end of the day, I enjoyed this place. There are a couple small improvements that would've changed my experience. I did enjoy the coffee and that's what I originally came for. The sandwich honestly wasn't bad, but I think I would try the thịt nướng next time. Some places just do one or the other better. I think it's harder the get the cold cut sandwich right vs the grilled pork. Overall it's a nice little meet up spot and I would come back again just for the egg coffee.

I actually had to park behind the building then look at other Yelp reviews to find out that there is parking on gravel near their dumpsters closest to LaShaun Daye Hair. Though I don't know if the parking lot where this building and E Marginal Way meet can also be used...street parking in this area was scarce, contrary to most Yelp reviews I've read. Anyway, I came to an empty but very chill interior with several tables and window seating, along with some semi-quiet VPop playing near the front counter to the right-hand side of the entrance. There's a small flower display along with the cafe logo a little to the back which is perfect to take photo ops with your drink and food like I did. The menu is above the front counter and - as their logo says - they specialize in banh mi and coffee, though they have some matcha and soup options among others. Staff at the front were very quick at making my coffee as I was the only one inside. I got their 16oz egg coffee, which is one of their best sellers according to the asterisk on their menu next to the name of the drink. Very strong phin-dripped Vietnamese coffee along with condensed milk and an egg foam that gave a sweet, creamy taste to the already bitter coffee at the bottom. Drinking the egg foam first, it's a nice, thick custard-like format that the coffee does not overtake, which is good since other places I've had don't have that kind of balance. My next trip back here will have to be for another one of their coffee drinks and their banh mi sandwiches as well. I can already hear my friend telling me to get one right now as I'm writing this up!

The food fell short across the board: Tomato Soup: It was way too sour, lacking any of the rich, balanced flavor you want in a classic tomato soup. To make matters worse, the guy serving us really wasn't very friendly, which only added to the subpar experience. Between the letdown dishes and the service, it's definitely not worth the airport premium. And it's the airport and the tables were filthy.

After 7 nights of cruise food, we were ready to try something new and local. Sharp's was only 5 minutes from our hotel, and highly rated, so I figured we would give it a shot. The seater showed us to our table, and chatted with us about our day along the way. He also explained the 3 menus that he gave us, and informed us we were right in time for happy hour. Our server, Sam, greeted us promptly, and she was so incredibly welcoming to our family, answering questions about the menu items. It was so hard to decide what to order, so we ordered several small plates (Brisket nachos, Wings, Brisket tacos, fries, and mac and cheese, along with the complimentary cornbread). To our surprise, everything came out so quickly. This was probably the fastest service I've ever had at a restaurant. The servers who delivered our food were friendly and welcoming as well. Not only that, EVERYTHING we ate was phenomenal. The fries were flavorful and perfectly salted, the wings were fantastic, and the brisket nachos? Wow....the brisket was some of the best we've ever had, and the nacho chips even stood out. The biggest compliment is from our 15 year old who said that the mac and cheese is some of the best pasta she's ever had. Throughout the whole meal, Sam was so attentive and chatting with us about the restaurant and dessert options. I truly enjoyed everything about our experience. The food and service both were top notch. The only thing I didn't like about this restaurant is that I'll have to book another flight to Seattle from Michigan to eat there.
