Buffet is very slow to keep the customer supplied with fresh pizza. The pizza that is out is not kept warm. A manager would be a good idea.

It's been over a year since we've come back to Double Dave's , the service is terrible , the buffet is empty with only a few tables in here and a lady actually my had to ask for pizza , of the 4 tables in here the guy gave my food to the wrong table, my husbands food came out 10 minutes before mine and the 30 minutes we where waiting for food only 2 more pizzas made it to the buffet.. read more

Apparently when you order 16 boneless wings in mild sauce online, means you don't get any sauce on them....according to Maria at Double Daves. It tells the kitchen not to put sauce on them. Sauce didn't even come on the side! read more

Really terrible pizza. I know this is a short review, but what else can I say? They're a pizza place and the pizza was awful. Period.

If you're going to do a pizza buffet, do DoubleDave's. And as far as pizza buffets are concerned, DoubleDave's is the best for quality of food and price. It's a totally chill atmosphere and there are some TV's to keep you entertained (they normally have ESPN playing). Last time I went the cost of a buffet was $6. 6 o'clock on Sunday night went to double Daves to relax but that didn't happen. Little children running in circles screaming and hollering unattended by table full of mothers who could care less who are evidently enjoying their meal. What gets me is one child was evidently the managers as they were talking about his dad's office. Love children but I would never let Mine behave in such a manner in a public place. Kids are going to do what you will let them but I believe it's also staff who should tell children not to run and scream through the store where other people are eating. I just ate at this place for the first time ever and I am a fan!! When we first got there, the pizza that was on the buffet wasn't very hot, but it was still tasty. We did have to wait a little while for more pizza to be brought out, but when it was, it was deeeeelicious! The Philly Cheesesteak bread roll and Alfredo cheese pizza were my most favorites!! Their supreme is excellent, too. The atmosphere was great and I loved the layout of the building. There are TVs in every direction, so no matter where you sit, you're bound to have a TV to watch sports on. Horrible! We waited to be greeted and pay for food for 5 minutes. Said hello, lady came out said hold on and kept putting up plates. The girl in the lobby sweeping just looked at us and kept sweeping. We walked out. Had the employees acknowledged us and been friendly with a smile and I'll be right with you we would have stayed. We understand they are short staffed and are hiring but, there is no excuse for rudeness. Management needs to hire a whole new crew or do some training. Won't be back. I'm never big on buffets but this's probably the betterest pizza buffet in Denton. The price is higher than it used to be but so is cicis and that's no good, this's better than cici's. They're willing to accommodate whatever pizza you request and really this's always had decent customer service when I've gone. Was surprised that I found an all you could eat pizza buffet ! Was out doing errands on this side of town and I live in Carrollton. I was pleased with the freshness of the food and every about 15 minutes they'd bring fresh pizza ! Also their desert pizza is very good and kids under 5 eat free which is always a plus ! It's $7.99 for a lunch buffet I believe and $2 for a fountain drink + tax so about $23 was really awesome !!! I'll be back ! read more

The chains up here don't make enough Peperoni rolls. the pan on the buffet is empty most of the time... Hey Owner! Realize that everyone is waiting for you to refill the Peperoni roll pan. Definitely won't return. I wouldn't recommend it if you like buffets. Staff seems a little down and weren't passing our smiles. If you can find a Pizza Hut that still does buffets it might be a better option. If you're a vegetarian or like vegetable based pizzas they've got one on the buffet other than the cheese everything else has meat. Ever since graduating college at A&M, I've been trying different Double Dave's that are closer than College Station. I enjoyed eating here. Frozen Digiorno is better than double daves pizza. Ive been there plenty of times, and do not know why I keep going back. The last two times I have gone to "give it a chance". Almost a year to the day and the food here is not any better. Better than Cici'c but there is a Pizza Inn within a block that has fresher pizza, a pasta option and nicer salad bar. I thoroughly enjoy DoubleDave's Pizza. We ordered thin crust with half cheese and have veggies. I believed my husband custom ordered our pizza. The pizza was wonderfully thin and had a nice char on the bottom - yet it standed when a slice is picked up. Veggies were perfectly cook and the pizza is crisped and flavorful. My stepson said this is his favorite pizza place now (oh, and he eats pizza all the time). This place blows all the other joints away by far. They have a small buffet, but the pizza they put out varies immensely. My only complaint is that I wish the buffet area was a bit bigger.
