I am a very picky pizza girl and this is great pizza. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is very friendly even on busy stressful nights! Service is good and we usually do takeout but the ambiance inside is nice as well. There are some restaurants in the area that are expensive and the pizza is a greasy mess. After a really bad experience, I cannot recommend Giovanni's Pizza any more. When I moved to Argyle, I started ordering pizza from Giovanni's regularly! For starters, they have super fast local delivery, and I really liked their pizzas. The in-store experience is not so great, whether staying to dine in or picking up a to-go order. Service just isn't nearly on point. But what really did it for me was one seriously bad experience here. I'm talking about a violently-ill, can't-leave-the-bathroom-for-24-hours and can't-eat-for-3-days kind of bad experience. I had to subsist on Saltines and 7-Up for days. Not to make excuses for Giovanni's - a food poisoning experience in food service should NEVER happen - but I do understand that sometimes this is caused by a supplier problem, and not the mishandling of food by the restaurant staff themselves. And in fairness, I don't know where the problem with my pizza actually happened (restaurant, supplier, elsewhere); only that they made and delivered the pizza. No, but being violently ill was not what topped it off for me. What made this a really terrible #CustomerExperience for me was this: When I did call to speak to a manager to let them know what had happened - because hey, they should know, and if multiple people called, they may even be able to figure out what caused it - the manager blew me off. I thought they might respond with a "Oh, I'm so sorry; thank you for letting us know!" I don't need a free pizza and at the moment, I didn't even want to see another pizza; let alone from Giovanni's. But a better experience might even have been an apology and offer of a replacement when I felt up to eating again. Instead, the manager was like, "ok." So no, I haven't been back and don't intend to be. read more

Clean place. The pizza is very good but a little skimpy on toppings. The service is fine, you place your order at the counter and pick it up at the counter. They are very efficient. The store is small but comfortable. Better than the common pizza places. You can get extra toppings for a price and it is expensive . We have been ordering Giovanni's Delivery for a year now. We have been happy and surprised with how fast and accurate our orders have come. The ranch hand is excellent! Gosh, I didn't realize I've never left a review for Giovanni's! I've been coming here for going on 12 years! This is a family owned place serving great pizzas and food. The service is great and very consistent. They're working with a small space, so they don't have a huge menu and do not have a liquor license. If you're looking for those things, try Bella Italiana in Northlake, their bigger space. But if you want to stay in Argyle and have pizza delivered or pick up or have a quick lunch locally, this is your go to. read more

I love the upgraded pizza and calzones, not your average pizza joint. I love the margarita pizza and my husband loves the calzones. They make great sides, too. Expect to wait on the phone for someone to take your order but when they get to you, the service is fast and delivery is usually quick. There is not online ordering yet- the restaurant itself is pretty quick and nothing impressive, but more like an old school pizza joint. read more

Pizza has declined but the worst part is going in to the place to pick up an order and having to deal with Martha and her non smiling rude face and attitude EVERY time! There is a place in North Carolina called Speedy's Pizza that makes amazing pizza. Giovanni's comes in with a "photo finish" for my top pizza joints to eat at. I eat here two or three times a week. The pizza is always excellent. Hot, fast, and delicious. I always order their lunch special: a personal pan pizza (at least that is what they call it, to me it is a medium, as I need to get a to-go box) with two toppings, and your choice of a side salad (best ranch dressing I have ever tasted) or a drink; all only for $5.40 (tax already added!!!) I have never had any complaints about the staff that work there. In fact, the owner and the folk that work there are very kind, friendly, and helpful. You will not be disappointed. read more

Their Supreme pizza has 9 topping. 4 meats and 5 veggies, more than anyone else around. And if you take off a topping you don't like, you can add a different one in its place with no extra charge. Ok.... I've been going to Giovanni's for the last six years! I was extremely disappointed in the pizza the last three times to the point that I stopped going. I went today after several months (9 months) on a Pizza hiatus. Well...I have to be honest here..... what's happening???? My order hasn't changed in six years ... vegetarian pizza with extra sauce. Todays pizza was just awful. The extra sauce was added in clunks over the pizza... obviously they had to of forgotten to add extra sauce b4 baking the pizza. Secondly the pizza was cold. So yes validates the added sauce at the end as they didn't prepare it as ordered. It was so salty that we couldn't even eat it. So sad that what used to be one of the best pizzas in the area has gone down hill. Please listen to your customers or you will end up closing your doors. Pay attention to the reviews... something has gone terribly wrong people. So sad that i have to share I will no longer go or recommend your pizza to anyone again! Adios Giovanni's. This was very good pizza. We appreciated the ability to customize in the online system. Only drawback was the ordering system doesn't seem to be mobile optimized as there was a lot of frustrations placing my order, but, I persisted and the Canadian bacon and mushroom and salami and pepperoni pizzas were worth the wait. read more
