    Thin Crust Pizza

We ordered delivery of the famous Thinny thin pizza and it did not disappoint. Delivery took over an hour but worth the wait. I cannot say more positive things about their pizza. Five stars all the way!

Came by Angeloni's for lunch today for the first time, and I'm so glad I did! The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the calamari, Hotsy Totsy Shrimp, and the Easy on the Peasy Pie, and everything was incredibly flavorful. I also loved the interior decor and overall vibe of the restaurant, it has such a great atmosphere. Definitely looking forward to coming back and trying more of their delicious dishes! Highly recommend checking out!

Angeloni's calls themselves home of the famous "thinny thin," they're not kidding. If you're a fan of ultra-thin, crispy pizza, this is definitely the spot. The interior is nicely decorated with a cozy Italian vibe that makes it a great place to sit back and enjoy a few pies. If you follow Barstool, you might remember that Portnoy gave this place an 8.8 -- and it's well deserved. I can personally attest to that score. We started with a plain pizza, just like Portnoy did, and he absolutely nailed it. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, with great flavor and not greasy at all. Next up was the Easy on the Pizzi -- vodka sauce base, crispy cup pepperoni, mozzarella, fresh burrata, basil, and a drizzle of Mike's Hot Honey. The combination of rich, savory, and slightly sweet flavors worked perfectly together. We also tried The Nicky Newarker, topped with thinly sliced sausage and onions on that signature thinny-thin crust. Another great choice. The pictures really don't do these pizzas justice, though they'll definitely make your mouth water. Our server was fantastic -- friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. I'm already looking forward to going back to try more of their specialty pies. If you love thin-crust pizza and you're in the area, this spot is absolutely worth checking out.

First time at Angeloni's and it did not disappoint! Thinny Thin Pizza was delicious. I had a chicken special and wow was it special. Two chicken cutlets in a hot vinegar pepper sauce topped with a mountain of mashed potatoes and sliced sausage. The rest of our party thoroughly enjoyed their meals also. Our wait staff was also on point. Young men were friendly and welcoming. A+

1/2 a thinny thin - we were hungry and also homage to the 1/2 moon this evening

The thinny thin was definitely thin. The regular pie was solid; the "Easy On The Pizzi" - with vodka sauce, pepperoni cups, fresh mozz, basil and hot honey drizzle was the hit! Both pies have no crust at the ends - the cheese goes all the way to the end - creates a nice crisp. Service was friendly and on point. Give 'em a try!

Came here for quick dinner while in the area... busy evening even for a Sunday...heard that it's popular. Municipal parking lot is across the street. Wow rated 8.8 by Dave Portnoy Barstool Pizza. Thinny Thin pizza is the most popular here.. and really really thin. Friendly staff and service. Big variety on the menu to select from - so something for even the pickiest of eaters. Appetizers and main dishes. Complimentary garlic knots and bread while you await your food. There are specials as well. This restaurant is BYOB! Had the avocados salad to share... that was a lot of avocado... A bit too much on the lemon juice. Pizza: 1/2 thinny thin and 1/2 mushroom -- hmm. It was just ok for me and pizza way a bit wayyy too thin. Overall it was ok for me. Will have to come back to try other items on the menu...

4.5 stars Came here for the first time tonight. The place was packed on a Thursday night, with many people ordering take out also. We ordered the Thinny Thin pizza, chicken pastina soup, and tossed salad for two. Everything was delicious. I really like the crust of the pizza. Not totally sure about the pizza sauce. The salad and soup were excellent. Service was ok. Need to ask for refills on our soda. They sang happy birthday with a loud banging drum. That was cool. Will definitely come back and try other items next time.

Went here in a whim since we were in the area. Welcomed at the door and seated quickly. Ordered the thin shroom pizza with arugula. Wait was a bit long but the pizza was great.

10/23/2025 I passed by a billboard on R46 advertising Angeloni's pizza and the picture of the pie looked pretty good, along with the 'thinny thin' slogan. For my wife and I, thinny thin pie is our favorite, so I said we need to try Angeloni's one day soon. That was about 10 days ago. Yes, you have to love 'thinny thin' pizza and we do. So thin and tasty. We also had the mussels fra diavlo. My wife is still talking about how these were the best we've ever had... hours later. Oh... the Avocado caprese salad is really quite excellent. Never had an avocado served like this before. Service was prompt and excellent... and it's a BYO (our favorite) so I know we'll be back again... soon!

Enjoyed a thinny thin pizza at Caldwell location, business was extremely busy. But well ran all servers were attentive and good work flow. The pizza was very good crunchy thin light and good flavors. I had pineapple on pizza yeah yea I don't wanna hear it, think thinny thin plain was better with no toppings. Good pizza definitely worth stopping if in the area.

This was I really wasn't blown away by the pizza at all, I will say it was enjoyable just not as good as I was expecting. As far as ambiance goes I only saw half of the restaurant because I picked up so I didn't see how big the main dining area is. The service was okay, I was a little annoyed because I was hungry and these kids were moving very slow just chatting but nobody was rude or ignoring me so that's why I think it wasn't bad service overall. If this restaurant is close by so less than 20 minutes I say give it a try but if it's longer i would say no unless there are no good spots by you.

***3 1/2 stars***…read more Maybe it lost something in transit or I didn't get the right pie, but I wasn't blown away by this place. I've had Tony D's on my list for a while, knowing it had a solid reputation amongst the North Jersey Italians (and what better demo to have it from?). Yesterday was a perfect opportunity to order/grab some pizza and bring it over to my top-tier chum in nearby Montclair for lunch. I didn't do a ton of recon so maybe there was a more obvious/modern method to ordering, but from what I could tell, this place was pretty old school and I just picked up the phone and called over - honestly can't remember the last time I did that, but it brought a nice whiff of nostalgia for me after years of ordering on apps. Didn't realize that Tony D's is literally right around the corner from my BFF Cloverleaf, so the location is pretty convenient if you're in the area. The parking in Caldwell can be pretty annoying, and even though I'm sure I could have rolled the dice I paid a little less than a dollar to park up the street further into a residential neighborhood. Given that Tony D's is exclusively delivery/pickup joint, I think they should pay for the spots right in front as a courtesy to their customers coming in and out; maybe they do and I missed it but if not... Anyway. The guy behind the counter was VERY nice/friendly, and even though I was a few minutes early based on the estimated ETA off my phone call, the pizza literally had just come out of the oven and was ready to rock. From that vantage point, top-notch service. The specific pie that seemed to be their go-to was the Drunken Grandma, which is usually one of my favorites (vodka sauce on pizza should be much more prevalent in my opinion) but I wasn't crazy about the chunks of tomato on it. In hindsight, would have been easy to pick off or even to request that they not be included to begin with, so that would be my recommendation based on this experience. I opted for a square plain pie, especially since I knew that a few young pups would likely be sampling the wares; seemed like an overall safe bet. Optics-wise, I thought it looked very good, and I don't regret going square here. The crust for me was probably the best part, and I made sure to strategically grab all of the corner pieces once we started eating. Nice crisp to it for sure. The overall taste of the pie just wasn't my thing. I wasn't crazy about the sauce (maybe another argument for the vodka sauce, right?) and the cheese was just okay. Tasted to me more like generic by the slice pizza, which isn't my preference. My top-tier chum liked it more than I did, so definitely could just be an issue with palate preference here but this might have suffered from inflated expectations. I'd give them another shot if a similar circumstance presented itself, but I'd go with the pie it's known for - there's a reason the Drunken Grandma is front and center in almost every review. Learn from me.

I told the server and she asked if I wanted it cooked more?? And left saying she will see what she can do. The same runner dude came out and was basically like "what's going on?" I said my spaghetti isn't cooked and he asked if I "want it taken back and cooked more or another dish". Ummm I'm not sure how to cook spaghetti more. I asked for another serving.
