My housemates used to order from here years ago, but they never had gluten-free pizza so I didn't join in. I was running errands and decided to take a look inside. I'm glad I did as they told me they started offering gluten-free pizza about a year ago, due to so many requests. The interior is actually really cool. Way more effort is put in to a little pizza place in a strip mall. Murals, vegetation, good tile patterns, and Italian-styled pillars make for a good vibe. The gluten-free pizzas only come in 14", which is bigger than i'm used to as many places only do GF in 10". I got the, "Sali's Special", which is, "Pepperoni, Sausage, Canadian Bacon, Green Peppers, Mushrooms, Onions, and Black Olives". I got it to go, as I only live right around the corner, but I made sure to eat a slice fresh before I left. The cheese was really good, with an impressive "cheese pull". The gluten-free crust was cauliflower and had a good bite to it. I think the sauce was pretty nice too, although the cheese was the star of the show. 14" was actually a bit too much for just me, as I felt overfull, so I wish they offered a 10" option too. Great pizza though, although the crust was buckling a bit under all the toppings. I will eat here again. 24$ for the 14" "Sali's Special" on gluten-free crust, which is a little more than I like to pay for a regular pizza, but I did get quite a lot of food for the price. read more

The pizza/salads here are great but the customer service is very selective to certain people. I have been eating here a few times a month trying to see if anything would change and no, the customer service is bad....period!!!!!!! No one said hello or greeted me when I walked in. One guy was making pizzas and never ever looked up at me. I waited and waited as employees were walking through the kitchen and front area and not one person said a word so I said is anyone going to help me and the guy making pizzas said "someone will be up here". TERRIBLE SERVICE: If I could give a ZERO I Would, my experience with this restaurant has been a terrible one I've never expected, on 02/15/2026 I went around 3 pm and it wasn't busy at all, only one couple was in there already seated, when I walk in the employee was on her personal phone talking not one time did she welcome me in or waited on me, she got up from the table, went behind the counter still talking on her phone and still didn't acknowledge me standing at the counter, once the Spanish ladies came in and she had no problem waiting on them, she was VERY RACIST AND PREJUDICE, as you know I am a middle age Black American female and I didn't deserve that type of behavior from her. After reading some reviews here, I had lowered my expectation about the wait staff and service. But, the food is excellent. Manicotti with ricotta cheese and calzones are both very delicious. Many vegetarian dishes on the menu. Or you can build your own pizza by the slices. I recommend Sali's. Just be patient with the waitress, or the Management can train or hire better wait staff. We ordered 4 large pizzas, two pepperoni and two cheese, for my son's 6th birthday party that we were having next door. My son came in with me to order, and the gentleman at the counter was so sweet and nice to him. They must have talked to each other for at least 5 minutes (nobody else was waiting behind us or someone else was helping others that came in), and he even got him a slice of chocolate cake for his birthday. According to my son, best chocolate cake ever. The pizza was fantastic, too. I will pass by 10 other pizza places to pick up food from here next time. We appreciated the hospitality and good food! Came back after 4 yrs to give it another try. This time I ordered pizza for a kids party and had to order "delivery " through yelp. This was set up through Grubhub. I ordered 4 cheese pizzas and 1 pepperoni pizza-all to be double cut for kids , chicken piccata and tiramisu to be delivered. We requested plates and plastic ware too and left a good tip. My intuition told me I should call them as well and make sure they received it through grub hub. Trevor answered the phone and he told me that he did not see the order but that since I had scheduled it to be delivered the next day that maybe it would show up the next day. He was polite and professional. and I told him exactly what I had ordered (every single item) and I told him it was for a party and very important. He never called me back the next morning so I had to call the next day to make sure that they had received it from GrubHub and the man I spoke to told me he didn't know and to call back. So I called a 3rd time and this guy told me yes they had received my order. As soon as I hung up, Trevor calls me saying whomever I had just spoken to was not correct and that he had only been working there 4 days but he himself would help me. Needless to say I'm at work but Trevor has still received nothing from Grub hub and it's already 4pm and my order is supposed to be delivered by 6pm. So I had to stop work to send Trevor a pic of my order from an email proving that I ordered it and I also verbally told him everything I ordered. So at 6 pm I get a call from a woman telling me they have no tiramisu. Then the delivery guy drops off food at 6:30pm (30 min late) and brings no pepperoni pizza, no plates and no plastic ware. I contact Victor and he tells me that he will make it up to me on our NEXT order. Very disappointed and feel ripped off. I've only come here twice and both times were after I took my nephew to NickelRama. Both times it's been pretty meh. I had a baked ziti the first time. It was nothing to write home about. The second time I got a pizza. And while I didn't dislike it, there are definitely many other pizzas I prefer over this. I'm also not hot on the customer service. I wouldn't say they are rude, but both times, the waitress we had looks like she wanted to be anywhere else, and it reflected in the service. She never checked in on us, we had to flag someone down everytime we needed a refill or a to-go box. So good. I grew up in this area and went here a lot as a kid and teenager. Moved back to the area recently and I'm happy to say they have not lost their mojo! Their pizza is delicious (but I always have to cook it more because I love it crispy) and their house dressing is super good on their huge fresh salads. We had been ordering from Sali's for at least the last ten years. After tonight's experience, we will never place an order with your restaurant again. We placed an online order for delivery from Slice that was confirmed by text at 5:34pm. The estimated delivery time was between 6:20 and 6:30pm. We then received a follow up text from Slice at 5:46pm indicating our order from Sali's was taking longer than usual, and that Slice would check into it and get back to us. At 5:59pm, we received a third text from Slice letting us know Sali's was working on our order, and that the updated estimated time of delivery was 6:55 - 7:05pm. After waiting roughly 10 minutes beyond 7:05pm, I called Sali's and was told by a male associate that they just recently received the order, and this happens a lot when dealing with third parties such as Slice. I contacted Slice a short time after this and was told by them that Sali's received and confirmed the order at 5:59pm, and that they had forgot to "enter a PIN" when receiving our order. I had been told by the Sali's representative that our order was "20 minutes away" and was then told by the Slice representative it was 5-10 minutes away (this was around 7:15 - 7:20pm). It is now 8:00pm, and we just received our cold pizza about 10 minutes ago. If you would spend less time blaming third parties and arguing with your customers and more time trying to fix the problems you cause with such poor service, this could have been avoided from the beginning. That said, I see plenty of other poor reviews on your Facebook timeline. Extremely disappointed, as we used to love your establishment and your food. Interior is small where you seat yourself, and the first aroma you're hit with when coming in is cigarette smoke since you're eligible to smoke indoors. Service wasn't anything exceptional & there is going to be a slight wait time so it's best to not be in a rush when ordering. In all, the prices are amazing for the portions!! However, The fettuccine alfredo I had was too heavy and filled with too much cream+butter for my personal taste. I ordered through Yelp and paid with Apple Pay online was well. The wait time for my one pizza is 40-60 minutes, this is not a problem for me because I had to pick up my kids from school anyway. I arrived an hour after my order was placed and my pizza is not ready. I was asked if I called it in, I said no. I used Yelp. The man walks away then asks someone else how to use Yelp. 2 minutes later he comes back with a paper with my order and asks if I can wait at least 15 minutes. To HELL with this place. I don't even know where to start right now! Whilst walking through the restaurant to my table, I walked past two tables with delicious slices of pizza mounded on their plates. So here comes our d*ickhead server 15 minutes later to ask how everything is. We told him that my pizza was not up to par. He offered to get me another slice and I said "no, thank you. I am just going to eat off of everyone else's plates." He didn't take my pizza from the table nor apologize for the piece of plastic that he sat in front of me. Now we are at the counter to pay our tab. When it's my turn he says, "you had the slice of pizza, salad and a drink?" My friend says, "you mean a salad and a drink, right?!"
