I love this place! The donuts are always good, I love yeast donuts, the cake ones are pretty unspectacular though-- the taste just like the cheap ones at DDs or like a 7/11 or something. The blackberry jam filled square is my favorite, and I love the classic vanilla yeast. The donut donut seeds aren't really worth it unless you get the creme brulee, they're sort of just a tease. The cold brew isn't that good in my opinion (its more mellow, I prefer something super strong) but people love it anyway. But, the lattes are really good, so if you're throwing money, caution and calories to the wind, I suggest you grab one with your donut. I came across this location on my commute to my new job- welp, there goes my paycheck! I've only had one donut so far but I can guarantee you that I will be updating my review as I slowly make my way through their entire menu. I asked the cashier which donuts were the most popular and he mentioned the creme brûlée, coconut cream, and tres leches. He also mentioned the one I intended on ordering- pb&j. I wasn't sure what I was expecting and honestly after my first bite, I thought it was almost toooo similar to a peanut butter and jelly sandwich that I thought I got duped into paying 4$ for a pb&j sandwich but as I kept eating it it just kept getting better and better. The donut wasn't overly sweet- it was a perfect balance of flavor and texture from the crunchy peanut butter. I intended on only eating half of it so I could have my mom try it but the donut never made it to her.. I inhaled it! Oops sorry mama! I will say though service was a little slow. Fun place! There area few doughnut shops around Brooklyn these days and I thought this one was the best so far. There is enough space to plan to meet others and have a seat, while not feeling rushed. There are sweet and savory options and their menu goes into a lot of detail on what was used - yeast, flour, etc - and if the doughnuts are filled. I purchased 4 doughnuts for $13. This was higher than what I would spend on a box at Dunkin but the flavors looked great and I was very impressed with the selection. I ended up purchasing a Banana / Peanut Butter, a Tres Leche, a Creme Brulee, and a Cinnamon Sugar for my wife and I. Taking the subway back home, my wife remarked that the doughnuts looked amazing and was very eager to try them. We took all four doughnuts and decided to split them between each other to get a taste. I was heart broken immediately upon eating one,. The doughnut was burned. My wife remarked the same. We then tried others. Every one of them were burnt. A definite burnt toast flavor was noticeable in every bite. While I enjoyed the flavors (the Peanut Butter and Banana was both of our favorites), I can't recommend when all the doughtnuts are burnt. :( read more

First things first, the staff is incredible. The staff is actually the reason why there are 4 stars instead of 3 and why I will be returning. I had the opportunity to try a cake doughnut and a yeast doughnut. I got a vanilla yeast doughnut and a tres leche cake doughnut. Lets's just begin with the fact that the tres leche was just not good. There was no trace of any tres leche flavor and the doughnut was very dry and oily, just no good. The yeast doughnut however was very light and airy and coated in enough glaze however there was no trace of vanilla flavor in the vanilla doughnut. It was a bustling Sunday morning. We had a full day planned, so my wife picked 3 doughnuts to enjoy in a nearby park. We chose the creme brulee, chocolate hazelnut and peanut butter with banana cream. They were all unique and interesting choices, well made.
