Food: typical diner foods including breakfast foods, sandwiches, burgers, melts, and other items such as meatloaf or liver and onions. Personally, I only patronize this restaurant for breakfast and I usually order the 'gyro and eggs.' My husband typically orders one of the breakfast skillets on the menu. Everything tastes decent, but not something I'd rave about. Beverages include coffee, juices, sodas, mimosas, and even beer. Service: Could certainly use improvement, but the service industry has taken a large hit post-Covid, so I guess I should be glad that they have humans who show up for work. Waitresses lack any amount of enthusiasm, and the female owner sometimes serves as the front cashier, but her demeanor isn't inviting (I've sensed this on more than one occasion). Value: okay, but I've read others reviews, and now feel like I need to pay more attention to my receipts now. Paying extra for toast with a meal that says it's included is wild ! Ambiance: 1950's retro themed- think white and black checkered flooring and Elvis Presley! Women's bathroom could use a facelift Location: Located within a strip mall in the wind point/ Caledonia area of Racine, WI. In the same lot as a Pick-N-Save grocery store. Ample free parking. 5121 Douglas Avenue, Racine, WI, 53402 Hours: typical diner hours 7am-2pm daily.

What is this??? Holes in the container? Absolutely disgusting! Who runs the kitchen? What kind of germs did I just consume? I got food poisoning from this establishment frombthe containing being contaminated see photo. We are never coming back; and after reading the health score 92/100 with details about the score is disgusting. People eat here, so clean and keep it clean like your feeding yourself!!!

Classic American diner fare. Great food, friendly and quick service, cool 50's/60's decor. Ate breakfast here three days in a row and would go back tomorrow. It doesn't look like much from the outside thanks to the shuttered K-Mart next door, but once you step inside you will be transported to a simpler time.

Menu items are overpriced, use to be good but really dropped off. Charges extra for things you would just expect to get. Not good.

Typical diner breakfast, nothing outstanding. The home fries are deep fried, my were overdone. The pancakes were fluffy.

I was fine with this as I'm not a huge bacon fans my husband ordered the brussel sprouts and the same entree as I did. I wasn't a fan of the potatoes. I should have asked for mashed potatoes instead. These were scalloped type potatoes and I've never liked the texture of scalloped potatoes. My husband loved them though. I did order crème brûlée but forgot to take a picture. It was fabulous and much better than other crème brûlées that I've ordered in the recent past at other restaurants. Service was extremely fast and friendly as well

Wow! What a spectacular evening at Sebastian's!…read moreCelebrated my husband's birthday along with a hometown reunion of his siblings here the other evening and it was PERFECT. The food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is spot on and gives you exactly the feel you want in a fine dining establishment. But the thing that makes this restaurant stand far above most others is the service! From the minute we walked in, we encountered nothing but genuine smiles and a sense that everyone there seemed to really care and be invested in us having a wonderful experience in their place of business. We were greeted at the front desk by a team of radiant ladies at the host stand. It seriously felt like they were happy to see us! Violet was especially kind and gracious and we enjoyed a short chat with her. The bartender was pleasant and efficient in taking our large varied order, and the drinks were solid. The bus and runner staff all were personable, polite and expedient. But the true star of our night was our waiter Brandon! He was spectacular. There were 15 of us and he handled our large table calmly and skillfully. He handled our indecisiveness, modifications, add ons, questions and loud revelry, professionally and expertly, never loosing his composure or patience. He definitely made our night. Thank you Brandon. We live in New York and most of the others live in Milwaukee and Minneapolis now, but Racine is the hometown and the 4th of July is a kin to a sacred holiday. The parade not to be missed! So I'm sure many a visit back is in our future, and the next time we do, I will make sure Sebastian's is on the top of our must do list! So please stay wonderful! Five stars!

My husband got home and they sent a burger with bbq sauce instead of the cubano. He went all the way back to get my sandwich and I can't even eat it. The ham is supposed to be deli ham, they put a huge chunk of a honey ham (like the ones you buy for Easter) with the brown sugar glaze. Are Cubans eating this kind of ham? No. Then there a sliced pork loin instead of slow roasted shredded pork with lots of garlic and oregano and citrus like a Cuban lechon would have. It's not even edible. I wanted so badly to like this. I just had back surgery and can't go anywhere. I was hoping they could get a sandwich right. It was horrible. I immediately gagged. I'm not a food snob, I'll literally eat just about anything but it has to actually taste good. I'm really sorry toad hall but yall need some cooking lessons.

I ordered the half garbage plate with sausage and bacon. Pro tip: ask the difference between the half and the whole before you commit. The half comes with three eggs. The whole comes with five. Five. I chose wisely. Oh and don't forget the homemade bread smothered in butter! It's clearly a neighborhood staple. People were greeting each other by name, swapping stories across tables, and operating like they've been meeting there every Saturday since 1974. Thankfully, they extend that same friendliness to random out-of-towners who just wandered in hungry. The vibe is energetic and communal, the kind of place where conversations overlap and nobody seems to mind. It has a modern, eclectic feel, but there's also a subtle time-machine quality to it. Like you stepped into the 1960s, just with better coffee and fewer ashtrays. Perfect blend of nostalgic and now.

My friend got the cheeseburger with fries and it was perfect. They have fresh meat, no frozen patties. I got the half order of biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs and it was perfect diner style food. The portions are huge so a half order was way more than enough. My friend had the roast beef omelette and I wouldn't recommend it because the beef was in chunks and was full of gristle. However, everything else was terrific. I didn't have the garbage plate because the portion was huge but it's on my list for next time. Maybe I'll split it with someone because you need to come hungry. Prices are very reasonable but it's cash only.
