I appreciated that he answered my questions and made sure I understood the treatment plan. I do have several extractions that need to be done by an oral surgeon, and I also have a couple of vacations coming up, so I understand that some of the larger dental work will need to wait until after those are completed. The only thing I wish had been handled differently is my cavities. Even though I have more extensive dental work ahead, I would have liked to start treating the cavities that are already causing some sensitivity, rather than waiting. My biggest concern is preventing them from getting worse while I'm working through the rest of my treatment plan. Going to the dentist is a huge milestone for me. I have significant dental anxiety, and it took me an entire year of therapy to get to the point where I could walk into a dental office. Because of that, I'm very motivated to take care of my teeth--not just the major procedures, but also the cavities before they progress. Overall, everyone was kind, professional, and supportive, and I'm grateful for the care I received. I look forward to continuing my treatment.
