I'm a substitute and was filling in for someone today, so I had to be at work by 10:15. I called the office and spoke with Anthony, who was so helpful. They were able to squeeze me in, although they weren't sure how long it would take. I hurried down there, and Dr. Vu was able to fix my crown quickly and without any issues, and I still made it to work! This is actually the SECOND time this office has saved me in an emergency, and I'm so thankful I found them. Everyone in the office is always so friendly, kind, and willing to help whenever possible. My entire family comes here for our dental and orthodontic care, and we couldn't be happier. Thank you, Dr. Vu, Anthony, and the entire staff for always taking such great care of us! Booked based on a $59 new-patient special, after being told over the phone that a deep cleaning (if needed) would run $1,300. I went to the dentist last year, so I didn't think I would be needing a deep cleaning and went ahead with appointment. During the exam, the hygienist was very heavy-handed, enough to really hurt, then immediately pushed a deep cleaning. When I said I couldn't afford it, she put her hands up and said "I don't talk money, I'm just telling you what I recommend"-- then told me another hygienist who "doesn't talk about money either" would be coming in. That hygienist never actually showed up; I suspect they could tell I was upset and backed off. The dentist confirmed I had zero cavities. I explained to him that I don't want to waste their time, or my time, and if they're going to sell me a deep cleaning, I simply cannot afford it. He said, let me see what our sales person can do The salesperson then appeared with a quote: $3,400 cash -- more than double what I'd been told on the phone -- or $1,450 if I purchased their recommended insurance plan. I told him no, I can't afford it, getting more noticeably upset He disappeared for 5-10 minutes and came back with the exact same total, just broken into different line items. By the time I walked out, I had told three different people four times I couldn't afford it, and there were no offers of other options that might be within my price range. Called my old dentist and got a quote of $600-$800 cash for a deep cleaning, but was advised they aren't sure I'm going to need it. They are farther but worth a drive to save over $1000. So, I would skip this place unless you enjoy sales pitches with your dental work.

The only thing that was different from other dental offices was a PH test of my saliva. The initial appointment took an hour and a half when it should have been 45 minutes. It was clear that the staff didn't know what they were doing. The cleaning it self was fine, but there was no reason to have two appointments. You really shouldn't claim to be a holistic dentist when you have the same practices as any other office. Dr. Scola was supposed to call my wife and I after we let the front office know our frustrations and we never heard from her. Save yourself the time and money and find a different dentist.

Instead, they pushed an aggressive treatment plan that included two crowns (I've never had one before, just a series of fillings) and at least 4 fillings. This was my third dental appointment in 8 months (due to insurance changes I was planning on coming here for extra cleanings this year). Within the last couple of months my dental work needs significantly jumped which blindsided me and caused major anxiety. Something felt off, so I sought second and third opinions from other dentists. No other dentist suggested crowns, nor did they find some of the fillings needed via X-ray nor the picking tool. At most it was 2 fillings needed instead of the vast work initially prescribed. To give credit where it's due, the front desk staff was wonderful and promptly shared my X-rays when I requested them for my second opinions. However, as someone with major dental anxiety, the rushed exam and sudden pressure from the dentist to urgently book expensive procedures was overwhelming. It is disappointing to experience this shift in care from a clinic I used to trust, not sure where I'll go from here but I needed to share my most recent experience.

I seem to see a different provider almost every time, and I've never really felt like there is one dentist or care team following my dental health over time. The office seems focused on moving a high volume of patients through, which can make it feel more like being part of a system than having a dental team that actually knows your history. That stood out most at my recent appointment. At my previous visit, the dentist discussed some concerns about my teeth and gave me things to work on before I came back. I took that seriously and went into this appointment wanting to know whether things had improved. After my cleaning, though, there was no real follow-up or discussion about the health of my teeth. I had to ask as I was leaving if everything looked okay and was basically told yes, and that my gums not bleeding was a good sign. A few hours later, I developed soreness and pain along part of my gumline that feels like it was scraped or irritated by one of the instruments. I can't say exactly what caused it, but it was not there before the cleaning. The cleaning itself was also unusually uncomfortable. I've never had problems with routine cleanings before. The scaling was fine, but the polishing genuinely hurt. The polish felt very dry, and the speed and pressure made my teeth sensitive. I've had my teeth polished many times and have never experienced that before. I also have TMJ issues, which I've told the office about. Keeping my mouth open became increasingly difficult, but no one seemed to notice or offer anything to help. I know I could have spoken up, and I take responsibility for that, but there was so little communication during the appointment that I didn't feel especially comfortable doing so. There was very little interaction with the hygienist in general. I wasn't really greeted, asked how I was doing, or told what was happening. I was also left sitting alone in the chair several times without being told where he was going or when he would be back. At one point, before the cleaning had even started, he walked away without saying anything and I genuinely wondered if I had been forgotten. The front desk staff have never been rude, and I do want to mention that the woman working the front during my morning appointment on 9/23/26 was very polite and noticeably friendlier than what I've usually experienced there. I don't think the individual employees are necessarily the problem. My impression is that this is simply a very high-volume office, and that makes it difficult to provide the communication and continuity of care I want from a dental practice. For me, it hasn't felt like the right place for long-term dental care. I think this office could benefit greatly from stronger communication and more focus on building relationships with patients.
