Dr Engh did my LASIK surgery about 10 years ago or so and my vision is still 20/20! He's a great doctor and the staff is very friendly.

Dr. A. explained how he could take care of all three problems with a single surgery in each eye. After a thorough explanation, I opted to "Go for It" and boy am I glad I did. The surgeries were a month apart and only took a few minutes each and to some degree it was a fun experience. Not only have I ditched my reading glasses, but I don't need to worry about glaucoma or cataracts going forward. Dr. and his staff are great as was the surgery center. At a minimum you need to meet Dr. A. he is a really dedicated doctor and my visits are always enlightening.

I made my usual 6 month appt for checking retinas and dry eye procedure. Appt was yesterday. Dr came in hot, upset first that my purse was hanging on the wrong side of the exam chair and then scolded the assistant about it. Then proceeded to rush through a dry eye procedure -- a new procedure that was quite painful. Snapped when I asked question about checking my retinas "you can come back in week for that." No explanation and out he went. I hope he is ok. Went to new ophthamologist today who said "we get a lot of his patients." Say no more.

I can't say thank you enough for how great this practice was to me. Long story short, I got a small…read morepiece of metal imbedded in my eye on a Thursday day. Couldn't close my eye to sleep. Had work from 4am-1:30pm so had to deal with it until I got off. I made an appointment with another office Friday morning for 2:00pm. That office only had an optometrist available (not on ophthalmologist) and despite telling me they would be able to remove it, they determined they could not due to it being under the tissue and said I would need to wait till the next day to see the ophthalmologist. As soon as I left that place, I started calling around. Mind you it was 3:30pm on a Friday afternoon by now. After several other calls to offices with no dr's available, I reached Evergreen. Dr Sien was still in the office, and though not technically taking new appointments, offered to stay late to assist me. The Dr and her staff were friendly and were able to quickly, but thoroughly assess both my eyes (just to be sure I didn't have any hidden gems in the other eye). Dr Sien then removed the metal shaving from my eye. I didn't feel a thing. Metal removed. No effect to my vision. And all that after hours on a Friday afternoon for someone who was desperate to not have to go another sleepless night in that condition. Thank you all again.

What stood out to me immediately was her attention to detail. Dr. Sein is thorough, thoughtful, and truly takes the time to look at every aspect of the situation. You can tell she genuinely cares about getting things right and making sure her patients receive the best possible care. She is also incredibly patient. She explained everything clearly to my dad and to our family, never rushing us and always making sure we understood what was happening and what the next steps would be. In moments that can feel overwhelming, that kind of calm and thoughtful communication makes all the difference. The office itself is spotless and very well organized, which also speaks to the level of professionalism she and her team maintain. Her staff is amazing -- kind, efficient, and supportive from the moment you walk in. Dr. Sein and her team made a stressful situation much easier for our family, and we truly felt that my dad was in the best hands. If you are looking for a compassionate, highly skilled ophthalmologist and retinal specialist, I cannot recommend Dr. Julia Sein enough.

The receptionists from both events (surgery day and post surgery) have been friendly and helpful. The waiting room area is small and they have a steady stream of patients so if you arrived too early like we did, you can wait in the downstairs lobby where there are comfy seats. My father's doctor was Dr. Conger. He was friendly, informative, efficient but he didn't feel like he was being rushed. Though my dad was capable of walking out, they offered wheelchair assistance. They gave us a number for 24 hour assistance with an on-call doctor in case we needed help. Overall, it was a great experience and my father felt like he was cared for well.

I was tired of people telling me I look "tired" , I was about 40 when I first heard those dreaded words, here I was 20 years later still hearing it. I thought being older it would at least make sense somehow, easier to hear, I was wrong. I chose Dr. Burnstine randomly on the internet, his credentials are great, but just as important I was impressed by his "before" and "after" pics, I could relate, I could see myself in their "before", and hoped to see myself in my own "after." With the COVID scare I thought it would make things more difficult, wrong again, I did paperwork on the internet, scheduled upper and lower eyelid consultation without a problem. I can't say enough about his wonderful, caring, staff, they were so patient with my quirkiness, and initial anxiety. Dr. Burnstine made me feel at ease, my anxiety, turned to excitement with scheduling my surgery, knowing I was in the best of hands. Dr. Burnstine is comforting, laid-back, funny, at the same time, he is focused. I felt like I was his only patient, Dr. Burnstine explains everything in detail, looks you in the eyes when asking if you have any questions, it's not an afterthought while walking out of the exam room, thank you. I could not have been "referred" to a better doctor. Dr. Burnstine is not only well educated, of course, but has a true gift as surgeon, I couldn't be happier with my results, I only wish I didn't wait until I was 60. Thank you Dr. Burnstine, for waking up my appearance, and lifting my self esteem, I'm forever grateful. Sincerely, Ava Chatman
