Thanks to the pot holes on US 71, the front passenger tire of our car developed a bubble. We needed to get it replaced quickly and it wasn't a normal Stock tire. Most recently, we brought one of our vehicles in for a tire rotation and alignment and initial assessment pointed to a part needing fixing. On their own, they had their master technician double check and he realized it didn't need fixing. They already had our approval to do that repair and could've easily gone ahead. But instead, revealed their initial misdiagnosis and did not do unneeded repair which saved us $200! read more

My service was to rotate my tires. I specifically asked the intake person to have my spare tire pressure checked. He said he would note it on the ticket. When the technician was dropping my paperwork off, I asked if my spare tire was low on air. He was taken aback at my question but answered he had not checked it, but he would now. After he returned he said it was a little low (20 lbs for a 35 lb tire). Pretty sure no tire pressures were checked, but the real question is: "Should it be part of the service for a rotate to check all tire pressures including the spare"? It is very disappointing the lack of detail for a customer's safety when "tires" is part of the company name. Maybe my expectations are unrealistic. The receipt I received did not have any notation of checking the spare tire. I suggest that this should be on there and that it should be in red for the technicians to identify quickly that need attention. The staff are polite and courteous but that didn't translate to technical service which my safety relies on. read more

They charged me $103 to pull the codes on two idiot lights. I didn't ask on the cost for I've had mixed experiences with Douglas Tire in the past. Their hourly labor rate is $100, which means it took an hour pull the codes, enter them into the invoicing system and spit out a paragraph to explain what I already new to be a transmission problem. Moral of the story: always ask for an estimate. read more

Definitely a Unicorn among repair shops... Straight talk, friendly service and they keep their word. I once when there for a awful noise my truck had started making. before I could make a cup of coffee in the waiting area I see my truck pull back around front. Presuming the worst I figure here comes a thousand dollar increase! they fixed a loose manifold bolt and told me it wasn't enough to even write up. Marty is a straight shooter and will simply tell you if you're wasting your money or putting repair dollars in the wrong place. I've been going here since they opened, and on two occasions have been so pleased that I brought pizza or donuts back with my payment. If I don't HAVE to go the the dealership I use these guys. I trust them with my son's $200 beater, or my wife's $30,000 baby. read more

This was also my second appointment--the first time I went only one of my tires had arrived and no one contacted me about that. My husband brought my car in to get the oil changed and an inspection. I needed new front tires to pass inspection so, he went ahead and got all new tires on my car. The next day he got a call saying they put the wrong size tire on my car and he needed to bring it back to get it fixed. The next day we went out to my car and noticed one of my tires was completely flat so, he had to bring my car in again because they didn't put the valve stent on all the way. They offered a free oil change, but since I had just had my oil changed I had my husband ask if they would add more Freon to my car A/C and they refused. I am very thankful my husband was able to take so much time off work to keep bringing my car back. Probably won't be bringing our vehicles back. read more

The manager is a lush, they had my car up there for two weeks for an oil change and they tried to say I needed to pay them for new "exhaust bearings" which don't exist obviously. I finally went to pick up my car and the manager did a burn out while pulling my car up to me as well as left a half gallon of McCormicks vodka in my floor board. read more

I agree with the above. We went in one time after power steering and dash went out unexpectedly a couple times. They could have said it was almost anything and we probably would have paid up. The truth was that a small spider had gotten stuck between a coupler or something causing the shortage. Only charged us for the diagnostics. Awesome. Love the place. My daughter took her car to get the oil changed and ask three times to be sure they topped off the fluids. When she got her car back the oil was leaking and the washer fluid was empty. When she called back they told her they didn't do anything wrong and she could come in and wait for them to look at the car. She said she didn't have time to wait and they didn't care. I just took my car in for an oil change since I had not had any problems and they refused to serve me because they said my daughter was rude. Seriously....the manager is a joke, used to be a great place, I have taken cars there for the past 20 years, not sure if they have a new owner or what but they definitely need a new manager and customer service. Horrible Service. I went in for an inspection with an appointment, he told me a few minutes the inspection would take up to 45 minutes. No problem. So, I waited 45 minutes while my car still was sitting in my parking spot. I asked if they would get to it in a few since I was on my lunch hour from work. He left....came back and said "Oh they double booked an inspection". I can reschedule you or it will be a "while". Wow, So waste of my time to even try this place. He lied and then didn't even try to say sorry I'll get you in NOW. Which I saw several people just walking around. Not sure what kind of place this is but DO not go there if you want customer service at all. He could have told me at the beginning IF he truly double booked, but no. Not so good, at all.
