The Gentlemen that work there are Nice and professional. The vehicles... All I can say is have your mechanic look over your vehicle thoroughly before you purchase. There were a lot of issues with my purchase. Some were addressed. and other were not. And when I contacted the owner about parts and screws left on the cowl by the mechanic I never got a response. We have purchased about 10 cars from Dove Auto, and each one was sold at a very fair price. The last one purchased had a tire with a slow leak, and the tire was replaced at no cost to us. My wife had a specific car she wanted. Dove Auto found it! They are open regarding the reputation of the make and model of any car desired and will make suggestions what will fit your situation best. As you can read in our earlier review we purchased a vehicle here about a month ago. The "change oil" indicator has been on since day 1 and now the brakes made a horrible noise. I called Denny and asked him to look at the situation and advise if that is something that should have been taken care of. Instead of telling me that I purchased the car as is with no warranty, he told me to bring it back ASAP so he can have his mechanic investigate the issues. We dropped the "new to us" car off this morning and by afternoon we were told that the oil was changed (not sure if it even needed it or just was just forgotten to reset the indicator) and all new brakes and rotors were put on. Along with that fast, outstanding service they also fueled the car up again and washed it as well. We have purchased cars for 25 years from many dealers and have never received this kind of AMAZING service after the sale, when he could have just shrugged his shoulders and waved the "sold as is paper" in front of our noses. Best truck buying experience I've ever had. The entire staff was friendly, helpful and patient as they dealt with us. They walked us through the whole process and even got us a lower rate than what our credit union offered us. BEST,BEST,BEST!!! I have purchased 3 vehicles at Dove Auto and Denny is a man of his WORD. No hassle, pressure or anything of the sort. He has jumped through hoops for me at every level of the buying process. Talk about transparency....... pffffffff.... he and his whole staff have NOTHING to hide. I had a great experience here at Dove Auto. I got into an accident (not at fault), and used it as an opportunity to go looking for a new vechicle. After looking online for quite a while, I stumbled upon a Scion TC 2009 for a very reasonable price! I immediately called Dove Auto and asked if the car was available. They arranged a date for a test drive with me and were very kind. They truly aren't hard salesmen and that try to make some cash off of unaware people, they are kind people who want to sell a reliable car at a reasonable price to a good person-- not trying to screw you over. I decided after the test drive that I was in love with the car, but I had to wait a week to purchase it. Danny held the vechicle for me and had it ready for pickup. In addition to putting on new tires, he hired someone to paint the one spot on the car that you could see metal. It was an unexpected but happy surprise. He made sure I understood everything I was signing and was very patient-- yet again, not just trying to make a sale. I highly recommend Dove Auto! Affordable and reliable cars! I love my Scion and it has 0 problems. In fact, Danny was glad to let me take it for inspection prior to purchase and make sure everything was 100% okay. After my other vehicle went to heck and was gonna cost to much to fix than what the car was worth, I knew I had to get a different vehicle. I was in a hurry to find a good deal and I poped on cars.com and Dove Auto came up with a 2009 Honda Civic. When I seen the Honda, I knew that it was a good deal, especially when I spoke with my bank and got pre approved and was told that what they were asking for it was a very good deal. Denny I think was the owner's name, he seemed really nice and willing to work with me. Turns out he sold me a car where the check engine light was covered with a piece of black wiring tape. I've been driving the car for two years only to not pass Virginia emissions (I moved because of my job). I can't say I'm happy and will spare you the profanities in their direction. Make sure when you turn on the car you can see ALL the lights light up, including the check engine light. Once the car is started of course they all go away. read more
