Especially through the winter. I replaced the control module in hopes it would fix, but still no water flow. After countless manual pumps of a spray bottle to the new filter, I called Hometown and Tim answered right away. Corresponding conveniently through text from there on, he came out to do an assessment and provided a very reasonable quote for a faulty valve, which also happens to be out of code and should never have been used for the purpose. He was able to come out again same day, but I was unavailable, so he came again the very next morning and cut and replaced the piping within 10 minutes, showing me what was done and I am thrilled that the water is now flowing seamlessly. A musician himself, we shared some good chatter about shared interests. All in all, great friendly guy who identified the issue and got the problem fixed quickly. What's not to love about that? Whenever they would come back for service as…read morepart of the maintenance package that came with the purchase, the technician would notice something about the original installation that was wrong and would fix it. In October 2025, the water heater would reset itself. Called for service. The technician tried had not idea. Kept asking for the error code. I kept telling him by the time I came to the unit, it had restarted. On the third trip out, the technician brought a manager who blamed the incoming gas pressure. Finally, a different tech came out who knew the unit, diagnosed the problem as an installation error that had damaged the unit. They replaced this unit. I asked for a refund on the trip costs but have not heard back from them. Now I see the building is for sale on 139.

The Centsible team was able to squeeze me in on an emergency heating call to fix my heating. My unit was from 2005, so it was time to get replaced. Derek measured out my house to ensure proper unit sizing for my furnace, which is not something I saw in common amongst other, more reputable, businesses in the area. Cory and Ryan did an excellent job with the installation. They even assisted with some simple duct cleaning and installing some hangars for the vent in my hard-to-access crawlspace. They did their work extremely clean and left nothing behind! Austin was also an extremely cool dude that helped with a minor service call afterwards, turns out was just a noisy duct. Paid a fair price compared to similar quotes, but received excellent service that is worth every penny.
