I'm aware of the policy but life happens. There was just once I couldn't pay same day because something came up but told them I'd pay then that Friday first thing but Maddie had to make sure that my husband and I felt like complete garbage first. This was back in December and fast forward to March when I'm getting my dog fixed the manager called me to make sure I was going to pay that day for my dogs surgery in full and I said ate you serious right now? Yes he will be paid for in full that day, all because I wasn't able to pay ONE time? Then today I missed my dogs appointment, I just lost my mother and my brain isn't quite all there at the moment but that didn't stop Maddie from leaving a snotty voicemail to tell me they are charging 65 dollars to my account. Today was my last encounter ever with that place. I will not take one of my pets there if it were the last vet on earth.

It was a very hot day, and my cat vomited and started panting heavily. I was frazzled, found Eliot Veterinary Hospital in a Google search, and got there as fast as I could. At first I was told they couldn't see my cat because they weren't an emergency vet, but when I said I was concerned about driving the distance to the emergency vet, luckily they were willing to take a look at my cat. Everyone at the office was very kind, caring and professional. Dr. Devlin gets the biggest shoutout though. She came right over to me and had a great what I call bedside manner... I know I wasn't in a bed, but I mean she got down on the floor to speak to me and was very calm, kind and thorough... not running in in a rush and giving me 30 seconds of time like some doctors do. They were very quick to get everything done even though I of course did not have an appointment, and they kept me updated constantly which was great. They were very patient and easy to talk to and made sure I understood what my options were and what was happening. Dr. Devlin again sat on the floor and asked if I had any questions. This meant the world to me.... She was not rushed at all and really showed that she cared. She answered my questions and continued to be very calm and helpful. Thankfully my cat was fine, and I really appreciated that they gave me ice packs, dish towels to wrap them in, and pee pads for the journey home. Dr. Devlin herself left me a voicemail later to ask if we got home safely, and they sent me emails with info about the visit and saying to reach out if I had any questions. Considering it was a horrible situation that I would never wish on anybody, it couldn't have gone smoother. Thank you, Eliot Veterinary Hospital! Mama Kitty and I are so appreciative!

As we all know going to the vet is very stressful for animals however York Village vet is the best place to go. Place makes it easy on the animals and easy on you. I technically live in Boston now and travel an hour and a half just to come to this place. I have never experienced a problem and they always give me the best treatment for my dog, also at a very very reasonable price. I've never experienced an overcharged and I've never experience a bad situation. I have had multiple frustrating experiences with this office…read moresince Dr. Jordon left, and I cancan no longer recommend them to anyone who values reliable and compassionate care for their animals. Despite being listed as open at 8am, it's rare to get anyone on the phone before 8:30 or even 8:45. They close early randomly -especially on Fridays- and are closed midweek, making access to care incredibly difficult. When I called about an urgent medication refill for a condition that can result in serious bleeding if untreated, it took them 4 days to get the medication ready. That kind of delay is unacceptable and dangerous. The front desk staff consistently fail to take accurate messages. I've gone in multiple times to pick up prescription food or medication (that I called ahead for and they confirmed it would be ready), only to find that they have the wrong items, or nothing was ready at all. It's a waste of time and shows they have zero attention to detail. This kind of negligence is not only frustrating - it's incredibly dangerous! There have been times I was told they were open but couldn't schedule an appointment because they had no vet in house that day. If you don't have a vet in house, why are you open?! Even for urgent issues, they routinely refer you to urgent care or ER, rather than taking responsibility for established pets in their care. The urgent care clinics they refer you to don't open until 12 and are by appointment (unless you are willing to wait all day and possibly not be seen because appointments get priority- would have been nice for them to tell me that prior to suggesting I go there). And if you want to speak with a vet directly? Good luck! Getting a call back from an actual vet is impossible. Last time I requested to speak with the vet concerning an ongoing issue with one of my pets, it took THREE WEEKS to get a call back. By that time, I had already sought care from another vet. This clinic is DISORGANIZED, UNRESPONSIVE, LACKS ACCOUNTABILITY, and the urgency and professionalism that pet owners and their pets deserve. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you value competent, attentive care for your pets that also prioritize your pet's health-and your time- seriously.

My previous groomer a lot of the time just mowed her down and she was bald and often had razor burn, as well as having spent alll day at the groomers. Pawfections takes the time to groom the dog and is careful of all the growths old Cocker Spaniel's get tend to get. The greatest thing is that the dog isn't there for 8 hours. She is washed, groomed etc and home within 2-3 hours. The groomers are a few $'s more than the previous groomer and then add on a tip but that's fine. Well worth the money. They also groom my American Cocker Spaniel who is 16yrs old and has a lot of growths on her skin. They have never knicked any of her growths and has never had any razor burn and they don't mind using vet supplied prescription shampoo I asked them to use on the dog. Awesome groomers!!! Give them a try

Pawfections has lost several awesome talented groomers this past year. It is sad that this shop has lost experienced talented groomers. Also a $3 fee was added to each grooming without an explanation beforehand. If you pay in cash I believe there is no $3 charge. Never heard of a groomer doing this practice. Time to look for a new Pet Salon
