She then annoyingly says how can I help you. Walk up and I explain what we need to do and she's says ok. Goes through and says ok the difference is $25 I said wait I'm just doing an exchange you can't do an even exchange, her response was you bought this one on sale . So which I said your putting this other one I'm returning out at full price anyway so no money will be lost. She stood there and says I guess I can do this one time but that's it. This location has a lot of clearance and big mark downs. Some things are a little more expensive, but they are still way less than at the normal department store. The lady checking us out moved slowly and continued to push us to buy the Nordstrom credit card after we repeatedly said no. A little annoying but no biggie since I know it's her job.

Even though there was not a special sale going on during our visit, it is always a treat to find past season Patagonia items at a discount. The store is clean, well laid out and well stocked, both with past season and current season items. Fitting rooms are spacious so you can try many items and still have room to check out all angles in the mirror. The staff is friendly as well. This time we had a jacket we needed repaired, so they accepted it to ship back for repair. Lots of parking is available in their lot.

If you catch it at the wrong time, good luck finding a place to park because the lot is tiny. Inside, the store isn't large, but it packs a punch for what it has. A lot of items are discounted 30% or 40% (or more, depending on the event). Some of the items are samples and/or irregular items, so the discount(s) can be pretty steep. One of the best parts of this is that for someone who is out of town, they will ship your purchase for free. So I always take advantage of that because why pack it in your luggage when they'll do that for you? It's a great outlet with pretty stellar deals and a great selection. 100% worth the stop.

Had she looked up from her phone for even a moment, she probably would have noticed that I was standing right there waiting for help. The clothes here are cheap an not well made, I don't usually buy them. Thumbing through, I didn't see much of a selection - same with shoes and housewares, no great finds. This store is really messy and disorganized, even some of the shelving is crooked. I don't want to bother spending much time looking around here, it just stresses me out and makes me want to leave. There are clothes and shoes strewn everywhere. The dressing room area looks dirty (I didn't dare wander into the bathroom). There is always a line here, and to make it as frustrating as possible, they cattle-car you into this line/maze made of low shelving with even more crap in them - it's impossible to find where this line starts, and a pain in the ass the climb over, squeeze past, and wade through all the people and crap blocking your access to it. The staff here doesn't have the best customer service, but I will say I bet it's because they are pretty unhappy at work and might be a little more willing to look more cheerful and do a better job if the management of this store was better. Ultimately I found what I was looking for - a cheap pair of Christmas socks.
