This location is inside the car wash to the right, once you go inside you'll see it. The car wash right next to the dealer next door, once you find it Oscar will take good care of you. This place is really a hidden Gem. Located all the way in the back behind the car wash place. I am selling my wife's Jetta and it happened to be a Sunday; This place is open Sundays! Downey Express Smog is the best place to get your car smogged. I called several shops, but all the people I spoke to at the other shops were either rude, or wouldn't give me a straight quote over the phone, saying that they would have to charge more for x, y, and z. As soon as I spoke to Oscar on the phone, he gave me a straight price with no BS, so I knew right away that was the place to go. I was in and out in 20 mins, despite the fact he had just started smogging another car when I arrived. So I would've probably been in and out of there in 10 mins if he wasn't smogging another car when I arrived. Oscar is a stand up, honest, and trustworthy guy. My husband recently took our 1995 Maxima in for a smog check. We use this old car to get around town on short errands. The CHECK ENGINE light has been coming on the last few years and 2 mechanics had not been able to make the CHECK ENGINE turn off. This light prevents a SMOG CHECK from being performed.
