I got a brand new Model Y Tesla tinted here, and they did an amazing job. Got all the windows tinted here and the sun roof. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the sunroof. I've never had any issues with any tint ever... but I've owned 6 different cars in my life and this was definitely the most difficult because of the glass roof. It was bound to happen, and let me tell you Downey Tinting took care of it like pros. They were super responsive, respectful, and you can tell they care about the quality of their work! I went here to get my front driver and passenger windows tinted and was not impressed with the work. It's been two weeks and there are still minor bubbles visible. I'm also really disappointed with the 'bite marks' left on the film and the fact that the rubber seals were cut during the install (see photos). I've had cheaper carbon tints prior that were much higher quality than this. I got premium ceramic tint, so I would've expected better craftsmanship. To repond to the business managers comment: The "bite mark" photo was taken from inside the driver side. The rubber seal I am referring to is in the vertical direction on the outside of the passenger window. The pictures are from the same car. But regardless of the rubber seal, my main concerns are with the small bubbles and "bite mark" on the film as this was the more expensive "premium ceramic" tint film that I purchased. If you can provide that video that you have from the installation for the affected areas, I would appreciate it. It was for a white honda accord that occured on friday January 30. read more

Had an appointment at 10 am Saturday morning. Told me to give them two hours. 2.5 hours later I return and they haven't even started. My car was next when I got there. Somehow there was another car when I returned that had not even been and clearly did not have an appointment but somehow was getting worked on before mine. If I made an appointment first thing in the morning it's because I'm trying to get in and out early. They don't respect your time. After looking around and getting some pricing done I chose this spot thinking things would be solid. Things were going good until the tint set in and 2 weeks later when they said things should be gone they weren't. I reached out to the lady about some dust bubbles/ bigger bubbles and she was super nice and said I'm sorry just bring it in and we'll take care of it. Mind you i paid for ceramic tinting and brought in 2 cars and had a "lifetime" warranty. I get there and this older gentleman comes out and looks at the car and says the dust is normal that he can't do anything about it. I said it's not just a couple spots, we walk around the whole car and it's everywhere. He insists ok we can redo it but if the dust is there after well what can I do. All I wanted was the tint to be up to par. I paid for a job and it wasn't done right so I brought it back like they said. This back and forth lasted about 20 minutes. He said ok I'll redo it and try to do a better job, I said cool that's all I wanted. I even said I'm ok with a couple dust spots I get it we can't control dust but when it's too much like what can I do. So I leave my car thinking they're going to redo it. This was at 9am. Come 1:30 I get a call saying "our team talked it over and just decided to take off the tint and give you a refund". I'm already frustrated I just said ok, and have to get a ride back to this place to get my car. This place seemed great, great little Instagram page, great service "at first", but that older gentleman just ruined some business because I called him out on the quality of the work. Super frustrating and I'm sure if the lady was there it wouldn't have gotten that far but the gentleman tried to win an argument when I just brought the car back to get work done like I was told.
