The shop is now under new ownership, and I'm happy to say the quality of the work and customer service are just as good as I remember, if not even better. No matter what type of tint I've chosen or how many windows I'm having done, they've consistently had me in and out within about an hour. They typically quote around two hours, which is a completely reasonable estimate for tint work, but every experience I've personally had has been significantly quicker without sacrificing the quality of the work. They're professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and consistently do a great job. When you find a place you can trust with every vehicle you own--and feel comfortable recommending to your family--there's really no reason to go anywhere else. Steve was knowledgeable, patient, and very informative when helping me choose the right tint. I especially appreciated how conscientious he was about California tint laws. He explained what would and would not be compliant and helped me get as much privacy as possible on the front driver and passenger windows while staying within the legal requirements. The finished tint looks great, and the front windows are dark enough for the privacy I wanted without going overboard. While I was there, Steve also repaired some curb rash on one of my wheels. Later I learned that shortcuts like poor cleaning, improper primer application, or not allowing the adhesive to cure properly can lead to leaks, wind noise, and even reduce the windshield's ability to protect you in an accident. When I went to OC Windshields, they took the time to explain the entire process. They showed me why quality urethane adhesive matters, why proper preparation is so important, and why rushing a windshield installation can create problems down the road. VERY good heat reduction I've notice inside my car on these hot hot summer days. Definitely would recommend their service, but be mindful of your time in case it isn't a 'quick' pickup.
