UPDATE -- They fixed it…read more I returned a couple of weeks later, and the difference in the music programming is remarkable. This is exactly what I was hoping for: music with personality and enough energy to give the room a pulse, while still sitting comfortably behind the conversation. Better Now by ODESZA followed by California Kiss by Goldroom at 4 PM on a Friday afternoon? Perfect. The music finally feels like it belongs to the room. I also learned, entirely by chance, that staff had been advocating for better music programming for quite some time. So credit where it's due: management listened, and the staff clearly knew their room. I liked O Bar when I wrote the review below. Now the soundtrack complements everything they were already doing well. Atmosphere: 5/5. Nicely done.

It was my first time in Oklahoma to visit a dear friend of mine…read more I was looking up some places and doing my research (on yelp, of course) and came across, O bar It's located inside a hotel with parking outside. It's not a far walk. As soon as you walk into the hotel the elevator is straight ahead for the o bar. Located on the 7th floor When we got to the bar (it also has food and cigars) it's open seating. They have a bar seating (of course) lounge couches and a few places to sit outdoors (which, was really nice, but it was still very hot. Even for being late at a night) I loved the ambiance, so 5 stairs for that We sat on a lounge couch and was greeted by Metra and Madison (who all deserve 5 stars) Paige is their bartender (5 stars) Madison and metra were both our waitresses taking our orders They are known for their espresso martini. And they can do it decaf. Metra was really good at making suggestions and Madison was great at making sure our waters were always filled and bringing out drinks. All the girls here did a great job. They had great energy, really knowledgeable and were great at small talk. I loved them After the espresso martini Next up was the - later alligator. Which had -Lychee Vocka | Basil Cin | Cocchi Americano My girlfriend kept ordering a lemon drop and then Moscow mules for the rest of The night PS- garden party, by Paige, is another VERY popular drink. I wish I would of Tried it. Especially since Paige knows what she's doing They had another part of their menu featuring seasonal drinks and mocktails. I wish we also would of tried some of Their food. On some days / nights they have specials. Like cigar specials and some music. I think especially for being a hotel Bar, this went above my expectations. Especially with such friendly and attentive service. I can't wait to come back and visit. Hopefully when it's cooler outside and can sit on the outdoor patio to enjoy the view Everything deserves 5 stars. Even their bathroom was extremely clean I even needed to take some cash out for something and Paige and Madison pointed out that there was an ATM located inside (by the bathroom when you walk out of the bar) Even during a weekday this place was really nice. Heads up- they do not take reservations

Walking in, it was dimly lit & it reminded me of a bar Downtown in Tulsa. We found a table (the place got filled up pretty quick afterwards) caddy corner to the bar & we got help quick. My partner ordered the Oaxacan Old Fashioned, a friend of mine ordered some Truffle Fries & a drink that I didn't catch - as for me, I got the Ginger Beer (I don't drink). The Oaxacan Old Fashioned looked nice with the orange peel climbing out of the glass & had a really good aroma (I took a big whiff of it). The ginger beer was a spicy ginger beer & it was really good. With every sip, it was opening up my nostrils, it had some spice to it for sure. I tried my friend's Truffle Fries & it's something I'd order, especially if I wasn't as hungry & wanted a "snack". You can smell the truffle while the taste was real subtle. All in all, the place was chill. It was a nice wind down from leaving an art show & The Collective (I had no clue it turned into a clubbish scene on a Saturday... they were jammin' that night). My friend was a regular there, the individual who served us was super nice & friendly. There was whole menu to explore full of sandwiches, burgers (I want to try the South West Burger along with the Umami Burger) & all kind of other dishes to choose from. As much as I come down to OKC, I still get familiar with the scene more & more - R&J is added to the list of places that I'd return to. Side Note: A friend of my friend stopped by right before my partner & I left. She ordered the Brussel Sprouts and Bacon & in my head, I dove into her plate before she could.

She was cheerful and a delight to speak with, and never missed a chance to share her smile. The food was exquisite--I'm finishing my bolognese for breakfast right now because we chatted too much at dinner. The ambience was clean and welcoming. Not too loud at all. Risotto arancini was on point. Panna cotta was the least impressive of our meal and I would still give 7/10 score. We were limited to gluten free options which were available. All-in-all, I was more impressed than I ever expected to be at Malfi Enoteca, and I will be going back! TL;DR, go to Malfi. Take a date if you want to.

The limoncello spritz is one of my favorite cocktails anywhere, and the prosciutto appetizer is a must-order. I've gone back specifically craving both. Everything I've had has been delicious, but those two items keep me coming back. I also love the decor and overall vibe. It's stylish and inviting without feeling stuffy, and it's a great place to relax with friends or enjoy a date night. Even though they don't have outdoor seating, it somehow still feels like the perfect summer spot thanks to the bright, coastal Italian atmosphere and refreshing drinks. If you're looking for great food, excellent cocktails, and a place that isn't overly crowded, Malfi Enoteca is definitely worth checking out. I'll definitely be back again.

I absolutely love this place. I have been going for about a year and I always love the chill vibe…read more I started collecting vinyl about 4 years ago. My sister from another mister was growing weary of me yawning whenever she would stop at a record booth to peruse the vinyl. When she upgraded her system, she gifted me her old 3 in 1. Those do the job, sometimes, however, it isn't a prime listening experience. I knew it was time for me to level up, but I am overwhelmed with technology. I knew I wanted a turntable but wasn't even sure what other components I would need. After visiting a local record store, I was only slightly less confused. I knew that Jay at The Soundbar would be a good resource. I had a nice visit there. I told Jay what I was trying to do. He asked a few questions concerning budget, room size and music style. He recommended a Fluance turntable, Wiim amplifier and some nice Kanto bookshelf speakers. I ordered them and he even advised me over the phone on how to hook them up. What a game changer! I hardly want to leave the house. Thank you Jay! You have changed my life for the better. See you soon at The Soundbar!
