They assured me they knew and would add the proper amount of oil. I was charged for the extra oil, which was fine because it was needed. I asked the tech, Daniel, if my engine looked like it was burning or leaking any oil. He stated "no" my engine looked good. HOWEVER, with 51% of my oil life not used, my oil light came on. I was back in the Chicagoland area and went to my regular dealer. When they checked my car it had less than 2 quarts of oil left in it. I again had the engine checked and there were NO signs of it leaking or burning oil. When I came back to Charlevoix I spoke with Daniel again. He said my car is known for burning oil. I pointed out the only time it happens is when I need to go to a quick oil change place like his. He looked at my receipts and saw the other place used the same type of oil as they did. When I asked if my regular dearer used magic oil, he did not have a response other than my car must be burning oil despite no one including him being able to see it. I have owned this car for four years and this is only the second time it has been low on oil, and both times I needed to get the oil changed at a quick oil change location. There was no offer to correct the mistake or to credit a future service. Needless to say I will never go back here again and would not recommend it to anyone, especially people from out of town.

They advertise as being a 10-Minute Oil Change, but Chris and Tyler were extremely efficient and completely serviced my car and changed the oil in even less time than that. My wife and I live in Cross Village and always use this location if we need an oil change and are in Petoskey or the area. The service is always great, but the service provided today by Chris and Tyler was exceptional. In addition to potential customers, I hope the owner of this oil change facility reads this review and give them the pat on the back they deserve.

Conventional oil changes start at $35.99 and include a bevy of more service than your standard oil change. They check and top off all the fluids, check lights, tires, and even vacuum your floors. When you're all said and done, there is a free car wash to boot. Staff is incredibly helpful and don't really try to sell you too many extras like other shops. Air filter was definitely bad but the attendant said it wasn't "pressing." I decided to change the filter anyways. Will definitely return.

We went this morning to the local dodge dealership since we have a dodge eco-diesel and they told us they can't do anything for use since it's from Canada and out of basic warranty. We drove to multiple places that ended up being closed and got referred to upper lakes tire. Thank goodness! Brian was beyond helpful! Even though he said he didn't do much with diagnosing, he came out and ran the codes for us. This is a common problem so he was able to clear the code for us so we can get home and get it back to the dealer who gave us the warranty. To top it off, he didn't even charge us! I was in the area visiting family as it was…read moreChristmas time, and my brother looked at my tires and said they were bald and I needed to replace them ASAP. My brother suggested this place and when I called they said they could get the tires and install them that day (even though it was Christmas Eve if I remember correctly) - AWESOME! I took my car in and they completed the work promptly. I was happy with everything. Fast forward about 6 months and I was due for routine maintenance at the dealership (Lexus). Shortly after I dropped it off, they called to ask if I'd recently gotten new tires. I informed them that I had and they told me that whomever had installed them had broken the hub lock. They gave me the broken piece when I came to pick up my car and it was covered in rust where it was broken, so I believe that they (Lexus dealership) didn't break it themselves and try to pass it off as someone else's mistake. Anyway, it cost me $160 to replace it! Also, they told me that I'm lucky I didn't get a flat while I was driving because neither I or the tow truck guy would have been able to remove the tire due to the broken part. Giving 2 stars because they WERE able to accommodate me during the holidays and I appreciate that. However, to let me drive off knowing (they knew...) they'd broken that part is AWFUL. I could have been stranded! I totally understand that mistakes happen, such is life. But to not fess-up and make it right? Sorry, but that's just bad business.
