A couple friends asked me to meet up for a drink. It's a retro dive gay bar, I had dinner plans in the area with my husband and family later. I'm not from Indianapolis and had to search on Yelp in order to find somewhere to eat after working up my appetite at a concert earlier that day. It was 12 am and I realized there weren't many places that would be open. This is how I found Olly's. The food is everything you'd expect from a 24 hour gastropub; greasy and delicious. Fun bar restaurant, food was not very good, the pot roast consisted of beef that had been braised very little seasoning frozen vegetables that had not been cooked with the braised beef and tater tots. but the Ambiance was great. They have the best food. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich with sweet potato fries...it was great. I've been there before years ago and people were allowed to smoke inside...but now that has changed. I don't know who they have in their kitchen cooking but when I tell you that their food is better than some of these 29.99 entrée places, you better believe it. It's a bar with great food. I'm visiting Indianapolis from California and I placed an Order online. I clicked the delivery button and placed my order. after it accepted my money it told me that pickup will be ready in 50 minutes. I don't know where this place is, I've never been in this state before, I ordered delivery because I don't want to get lost. I called to cancel my order and there was no answer. Delivery 24/7 but no one to answer the phones. I went to leave a message but the memory is full. I looked insite for a cancel option, there isn't one. I tried to do another delivery so I can leave a note to cancel and i clicked on the name uber instead of delivery and Uber wouldn't take my order. It said too far. So I leave an email Asking for a confirmation. I didn't get one. I call back the next day before 8pm and still no answer. Memory still full. I email again, still no response. there was no return $ to my credit card even tho half the order was soda in a can that they should still have on their counter until someone puts it all back. I think this place just scammed me out of 60.00 and is a fake at this point. read more

I love Olly's! I mostly come for brunch on weekends and Wild Wednesday Karaoke, and I always feel welcome. Quick, polite service. Cheap mimosas and delicious biscuits & gravy. I love Ollies! It's always open and that makes life easy! The staff is always accommodating and happy to refill your drink whether it's coffee or rum. They have a full bar and great drink prices. So I have to say on Monday 3-9-2020 I had the worst food I ever had at Olly's. We come here frequently, so this is NOT the norm for here. First let me start by saying, there were only two staff members there at the time and the place was very busy. Robert was working behind the bar and taking care of us. He was Great! Not sure if they were short staffed or cutting back on staffing on Mondays... but if I was the manager I would have been running around finding out what they needed, busing and cleaning tables, running food or drinks for them... basically keeping things running as smooth as possible. However, the manager that was there was sitting at a table not helping at all.... Shame on you, and that is not the first time I have seen this happen. The next issue was it took us an hour to get 6 chicken wings and a chicken quesadilla ... when my quesadilla arrived, it was cold, even the shredded cheese on top had not melted. I was just going to eat it but then when I took a bite there was nothing on 3/4 of it but 2 quesadilla's, no cheese, no chicken, nothing. I did take it back to Robert and switched out my order with chicken strips (which took another 30 to 40 minutes). I will give them points because they did take off half for my quesadilla. I don't know if they are short staffed, or what right now, but this was not a good visit. read more

If you're looking for a great place that is open late for your food desires on the weekends (or for that matter any day) Ollie's is the place to go. It is open 24/7 and makes for a great spot during after hours on the weekends when you simply want a nice Tequila and OJ and Chicken nuggets as a nightcap. It's extremely cheap, but off the beaten path, so grabbing an uber is a must. Haven't been here during normal hours so I can't say (or imagine) if it's legitimate. read more

I love this place. Food and drinks are very cheap. I love eating here because they have a gigantic menu (although the late night menu starts at 11), and you can get almost anything you have a craving for. Chicken tenders? Sure. If you are a bar-sitter (all the cool kids are), then make sure you're there while Mikey, Lindsey, or Alex are on duty, for a promised nonstop fun time! Olly's is a small bar, full of fun people, served good food, and had great staff members when I was here on 3/15/14. It's open 24 hours a day, but no alcohol served past 3am. The performance area is too small for the great talent that performs there (drag queens and male performers). The food served is great but depending on what you order- portions can be small. This is not a dance club, there's just not enough room but you can do karaoke and play pop music. It's a come as you are, anything goes, let you hair down, with great staff, chill and eat great food place. I will be going back. read more

I've been there twice now, and this place is just plain awesome. They're not terribly big, but they have a nice dining area that is somewhat separated from the bar. They're open 24 hours starting Thursdays at 9am and stay open until Sunday night. GREAT food, AMAZING service. I will be back the next time I'm in Indy. read more

I found this place via Yelp reviews and I'm stoked that I did. As you may already know, its open 24 hours (at least on the weekends) and they have a big menu. It is a dive-bar atmosphere but a very clean, pleasant, friendly dive bar atmosphere. I felt very comfortable here. They were very busy but well-staffed and the servers/bartenders were polite and efficient. i had the apple crisp salad with grilled chicken and it was amazing. Fresh greens, walnuts and pecans, awesome dressing. Really a great salad for under $9.00. It's not quite in any of Indy's well known destination districts, but I would make a special trip to eat here again. read more

Was one of my favorite spots until I went the last 2 times and had no service. The waitstaff is not quick to assist, and seem to only card the black patrons of restaurant. After finding a table, the waitress came to my table last after 3 other white groups sat after me. Took their drink and food orders immediately, but would not speak with me until I showed my ID. She took my drink order, but sent someone else to drop them off and never returned to the table. As I got up to leave, I left my keys, and she rushed to bring them before I could get out the door, but could not assist. read more

For food, it's nothing to get excited about. One local pal said he'd have offered Tums if he'd have known I was going. But it wasn't 'bad' food, just standard diner fare prepared in standard diner fashion. The service was kind and accommodating ( server took back the sweet potato fries dusted in sugar so that I ould have 'naked' fries at my request.) Still, the local 'fauna' was colorful...
