Keep in mind the part was $18 and he was there for about 15 minutes. Unfortunately, they were unable to fix the dishwasher, even after I was responsible for ordering the replacement part myself. When the repair still did not work, they agreed to only refund $80 of the $362, despite not resolving the issue. Instead, the only solution they offered was to install a brand-new dishwasher, which was not helpful. I am fine paying some money for their time and I was hoping for a fair solution. Overall, I was very disappointed with both the outcome and the lack of accountability when the repair was unsuccessful. I know there are more honest upfront guys out there who are not going to charge you a crazy amount when they can't fix the exact thing you paid them to do. So do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

A few days later, we noticed the ice maker still wasn't producing ice, so we called them back. The same technician returned, took another look, and determined there was a separate issue. Unfortunately, the necessary part was discontinued, and repairing it would have cost more than it was worth. He was upfront about that and even offered a refund for the part he had already replaced for the ice maker. Going into this, we expected the repair to cost a fortune and thought we might need to replace the fridge altogether. Thankfully, the repair ended up being very reasonable. Overall, we had a great experience and appreciated the honesty and professionalism. The guy that showed up looked like he was fresh out of high school and looked like he wouldn't know what he was doing, turns out he's been doing it for 20+. Replacing the broken piece would have cost nearly as much as a new refrigerator, but that was also money they would not earn from us.
