AYCE (All You Can Eat) shabu! I've been to this restaurant prior to them starting the AYCE and was not disappointed with their food. Today, my girlfriend and I came here with partially empty stomachs ready to try everything out. For a Friday night it wasn't too busy as we waited less than 5 minutes to be seated. After being seated there's a QR code to scan to view the menu. We ordered a half galbi eye stacker and half pork belly stacker. These stackers are steamed, ready-to-eat meat. They come mixed with a bunch of steamed cabbage and honestly the meat tastes much better than the ones cooked in broth. I got the Spicy Seafood broth and my girlfriend got the Spicy Pork broth. Both were good. For meat we got the Prime Chuck Roll, Wagyu Galbi Eye, and Choice Ribeye. We repeated that order for the rest of our dinner. There's a self serve area where you can get your vegetables, quail eggs, ramen, etc. There's also a self serve area to make your sauces. All of the food was delicious but the service was a but sluggish. We weren't being checked on much except towards the end of our meal. It took a while for someone to come by to get our second round ordered. By that time our meat trays were empty and the stacker had already been cleared off of our table. As far as parking goes, the lot is big enough to accompany the movie goers as well as the people dining at the neighboring restaurants. Indoor and outdoor seating are available. Good quality of meats, and they have all your standard sauce ingredients as well as add ins like veggies, tofu, fish balls, etc. On top of that, they also have quail eggs and a decent selection of seafood including squid, crab, and shrimp! I think you can definitely get your money's worth here. For hot sides, we got the pork belly and chicken karaage which were both tasty. Serving size was tiny but you can always order more. We also got the half & half (galbi eye and pork belly) stacker box, which is cooked meat with some cabbage. It was cool to try out, but I definitely preferred just ordering raw meat and cooking that in my broth. We went over the weekend and the wait time for a table was maybe around 15 minutes for a party of 4. This place is AYCE - you can grab everything besides meat at the food stations (sauces/dips, veggies, noodles, seafood, etc). They currently have a matcha and a yuzu beer on deck. I really liked the yuzu beer. They also offer unlimited stackers, which is steamed meats. The steamed meats and all the meats you can order from the kitchen were good quality. Came here during off-peak meal hours on a Saturday (4pm) with a group of 5 and we were really happy with our experience! The store was quite empty and we were seated at a long table by the front of the restaurant. By the time we left at 6pm, there were plenty of customers. They played holiday music at first and then turned to Drake lol. My only complaint was that the temperature was cold; A/C was blasting. I eventually warmed up with my soup. The self-service sauce and topping bars were exceptionally clean. I'm thinking of Shabuya which I've never seen this clean. The meats and broths came out quick. It wasn't hard to flag down a server. I got the mala pork base. It's not that tingly nor spicy, so I wouldn't worry if you have reservations about it. However some of my cousins got the spicy pork and I found it spicier than the mala pork base. We got one of every meat. The lamb flavor is strong if you're worried about that. I wouldn't recommend the pork belly since the fat ratio is high. I also wouldn't recommend it for the hot food section either. The prime chuck and other beef cuts were good though! The karaage was cripsy and seasoned well. The stackers were interesting. Not only do they look pretty, but I haven't seen many other shabu places offer this. I came in recently since they changed to an AYCE concept, and I can say that DPot Unlimited is markedly better than it's previous iteration. For $33.99 during dinner and weekends, you get a pretty good value for the variety of items they offer and I found the quality to be pretty solid. Although the meat options are simplified to four choices, the steamed stackers provide a nice alternative and there are just enough hot foods to keep it interesting. Most importantly though, the actual shabu is just as good as it was before. The top blade was thin and silky and I really liked their sesame sauce. I also appreciated a few of the unique items in the self-service bar like the sujebi, quail eggs and crab, that made my pot more enjoyable. We came in when they had just opened for dinner service, and while the service was friendly, I did notice some issues. There was a line when they opened, so when that many tables are seated at the same time, there are simply not enough servers to attend to every table. We waited (along with several other tables) quite a long time before someone took our order. But after our initial order, everything came out quickly and efficiently. Another consequence of seating everyone at the same time was that there was a long line at the self-service bar, which is located in a pretty tight spot to begin with. I noticed that their hours have now changed to all day, so hopefully that will alleviate some of these service complaints. Overall, I am a big fan of this place and the new concept. I appreciate the fact that they don't try to overwhelm you with hot food options like some other AYCE places and focus on adding items that elevate your hot pot. I have been to their Buena Park location but never to this one. I came here for lunch on a Saturday. They do dinner menu for lunch on the weekends and you get to choose all the meats from the dinner and lunch menu. They had a variety of broths and my favorite was the spicy pork. The meat quality was better than most AYCE shabu places and they had more variety. Besides their raw meats to dunk they also had what they called their Stackers. Stackers are their steamed meats and they offer two different options for those. You can even get half orders for those since it is a large order. Other meats include their fried pork belly which comes in three flavors. We tried the cajun one and thought it was pretty good. The self service bar includes seafoods, meatballs, noodles, and veggies. They also have a self service sauce bar which includes kimchi as well. What I noticed they did not have that other shabu places have was quail eggs, clams, and imitation crab. Which wasn't a big deal for me. I was pretty happy with their selection which was a good variety. Everything was fresh and well stocked the time we were there. Oh and their dipping sauces were all good and on point. They still keep this upscale vibe w the gold plates and silverware. Most importantly, they keep their meat quality! First, you can order your soup base and appetizers. I tried spicy pork. I didn't think it was spicy until I realized I didn't blend in the spicy paste they left for me. Appetizers options include two huge steamers full of meat and fried pork belly. We really enjoyed the galbi steamer and the fried pork belly, pass on the pork belly steamer. I really like their veggie selection because it's super fresh. I also like that they offer rice paper and silken tofu as well! The silken tofu asorbs the soup so well. My biggest complaint though is they cut their veggies way too big. The soup pot is on the smaller side but they give you palm sized broccoli and hand sized napa to cook inside it. I would really prefer they cut them more bite sized. We first attempted to come on Friday evening around 7 PM. BIG MISTAKE! Line was soooo long! You add your name to digital wait-list and you can see how long others have waited, over 40+ minutes. Makes sense.. good place, medium size capacity restaurant, 90 minute eating limit, and during prime weekend dinner hour. So we came back again on Saturday around 2:30 PM, NO WAIT! Nice selection of broths, including pork or beef broth, mala for SPICY kick, and Dwenjang Korean soybean paste broth. There's a fair, relatively basic selection of veggies, tofu, balls, noodles, and seafood at the self serve bar - same with sauce bar, pretty standard. Two large tubs of ponzu and sesame sauce with toppings. The real seller was the MEAT selections, got to try both lunch and dinner meats! Sliced nice & thin, easy to pick with tongs & for quick boil, delicious tasty fatty cuts. We ordered the lamb, wagyu galbi eye, pork belly, and prime chuck top blade. Exception is lamb, which was red and lean, but still loved that lamby taste. Favorite was the top blade. Also ordered hot foods Chicken Karaage and Pork Belly that came out in small plates, nice fried foods to munch on the side. We encountered some concerns but eventually got resolved or was fine: -Our cold water came in plastic cups.. everyone else around us got these clear mugs with a handle :( oh well. -Went to sauce bar and wondered if they had the classic soy sauce... looked up from the tub of ponzu and sesame sauce... to see TWO squeezy bottles of soy sauce and one bottle of sesame oil COMPLETELY EMPTY!! :( Eventually got refilled about an hour later. -Originally we thought we would be CLEVER to order the pre-cooked meat stackers to noms while waiting for raw meats and hot food items to come out. dPot Unlimited has become my go to when it comes to AYCE hot pot. Whenever my hubby and I can find time on a non-holiday weekday, we come here for lunch! It's $25.99 for weekday lunch from 11am - 3pm. As long as you sit down before 3pm, they charge you for lunch pricing even if you sit/eat into dinner time, which starts at 3pm. I love that dPot Unlimited is so clean. Their food bar is clean. Their tables are clean. Their floors are fairly clean. It's a clean restaurant! I love that their ingredients and meats are fresh. The quality is high. Their meat offerings are limited compared to other AYCE hot pot places, but instead of quantity, they seem to prioritize on quality so it's worth it in my opinion. Personally, my hubby and I don't care too much about more variety of meats offered, so this place works for us! I love the spicy ponzu and sesame sauce here! I add garlic and daikon to it and it makes it even better! They swap out some of the food bar items here and there. My favorite is cuttlefish and crown daisy, but they don't always have them. We were sat pretty much right away, so make that your time to go. Our server was really diligent and frequently came to check on us. It was on the sweeter side, but paired with my hotpot sauce, it was sooooo good. Also, my beef (haha pun not intended) with hot pot places is that sometimes their meat is just too thick and tough for me when cooked. This was our first time trying dPot. It is located in the plaza next to the movie theater and kids playground. Our server let us sit at any table outside and turned on their outdoor heaters for us too. It did feel chilly though so I recommend bringing a sweater. It's not an AYCE shabu shabu place but that's fine because the portions are very generous. We both ordered the Prime Chuck Top Blade ($29). My broth was Red (Korean spicy) and my husband ordered White (beef based). He got the fresh ramen and I got the kalgooksoo noodles (nice thick noodles that had a great bite to it). The meat plate was freshly and thinly sliced so it cooks fast in the boiling broth pot. There's 2 additional plates that come full of veggies and with the requested noodles. They offer refills of broth, sauces, and replaced the gas can when my portable stove stopped heating. We had 2 different servers check on us and they were on top of it 100%, even if we were dining outside and they made sure we weren't forgotten. Also, don't forget a free soda with the Yelp check in. The Canada Dry really hit the "hot pot spot" in a glass with ice haha. We left here sooo full. I'm glad we didn't order any appetizers or extra add ons. The shabu here is amazing!!! The meat was soooo soft and tender and melted in my mouth. I love the variation of sauces they had and the buffet style area for the veggies, noodles, and other items. Im not sure what this item in my picture was but it was an appetizer of precooked meat and cabbage and it was soooo good I'm still thinking about it the day after. This has become my favorite go to spot. Although the wait can be long, especially on the weekends, I believe the food is soooo good. If you're wondering what time to come, I'd recommend calling ahead of time to see if there is a wait. I go right before dinner rush which was 5-6pm and the wait is as little as 30mins but this visit, there was no wait when I arrived. If you plan on going during the dinner rush, beware of the wait being 2+ hours. Anyways, my favorite meat to order is the galbi eye and I would definitely recommend this to anyone I take here. The wagyu galbi eye as your stacker is a must! I got the Spicy Pork as my broth but got the spice on the side so I can adjust the spiciness of the broth. They have small bites and I get the chicken karaage which is good, I just wish there was a sauce like spicy mayo or sweet & sour for it. There are lots of seating and you get to pick your veggies, noodles, and sauces at the buffet style arrangement they have. I love the sauce bar and the wide selection they offer for both sauce bar and the veggies/noodles bar. The employees are nice but I did not like them constantly coming to our table to see if our meat plates were empty so they can take it. One of them almost took a plate full of meat just as we placed an empty plate on top of it. I think this is a great spot to go to when craving shabu or just to take friends and family to, and it currently stands as my favorite AYCE shabu place. read more

Stopped in for a weekend lunch. No wait at all. They offer good selections of veggies and meats. They even offer some appetizers and dishes in steamers. But we focused mainly on the hotpot. Friendly and welcoming staffs. Very spacious and comfy seats. Loved the plaza that is in. read more

This was a unique hot pot experience. I went here midweek for dinner with a friend. We were seated right away. The menu offerings were interesting. There was a lot going on in the menu so it was a little confusing. The seats were very hard on the booth. They would benefit from having some sort of cushion. Since the protein offerings were mostly beef or pork, having the seafood at the open bar area was a little weird and definitely changed the taste of the broth. It was a little weird. I don't know if I'd return to this hot pot location especially since there are so many other options in the area. read more
