Mo Mo Paradise is our new favorite hot pot spot! We tried the Wagyu Experience, and the quality of the meat was incredible tender, flavorful, and beautifully marbled. The broths, fresh vegetables, and attentive service made the whole experience even better. If you're a wagyu or hot pot fan, this place is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back!

Mo Mo Paradise is now in Irvine and is a great option for a quality AYCE shabu meal. This spot is located in the same plaza as 99 Ranch where there is a solid amount of parking spots. Inside, they have a modern interior with a good amount of seating. Wifey and I stopped by for dinner with some homies and were seated shortly. We opted for the wagyu experience which was $55 per person. It was well worth it for us as we went rounds and rounds with the meat. Everything was very high quality and I enjoyed the all you drink station they have as well!

Good, but Wagyu tier is overpriced. I had been to the Rowland location, but not this one, so friends and I came by. Server was nice, and we got the Wagyu option, which was $54 for 3 options of unlimited Wagyu. Their veggie bar was missing some common veggies, like spinach, and options in general was more limited than I remember. Included curry is good, but it's hard to justify this price point when there are other places with similar quality for less $. Everything was good and fresh, and the place was clean, but again, hard to justify the price to options. Their complimentary ice cream is most likely thrifties, which we love.

This is my favorite shabu-shabu restaurant! The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, which is one of the reasons we love coming here. It's usually easy to get a table, making it a great spot whenever we're craving shabu-shabu. I also love that they offer soft drinks, curry, and a delicious fresh egg that you can dip your meat into--it makes the meal even better. The restaurant is always clean and well-maintained, which really sets it apart from many other shabu-shabu places. Great food, great service, and a clean, comfortable atmosphere. I highly recommend it! Arrive before 6pm! Special price!

Made reservations for lunch but wasn't necessary. The restaurant is clean and quiet in a good way. No loud background music, just the noise of people enjoying their hot pot. Meat quality was great and the broth was not overly seasoned which is perfect for hot pot. The highlight of today's visit was the host/server, Brian! He was so welcoming and truly made the entire dining experience pleasant. Great service truly leaves a lasting impression. I highly recommend this place! The milk tea was bland but the curry was good!

First time to try this location. I saw the 20% walk in promo on instagram and decided to try it today for lunch on Friday. It's actually such an amazing deal because Friday lunch is $29.95 and after the discount it's less than $24 per person for AYCE meats, veggies, and more. We walked in around 11:45 and it was not too busy. It started filling up more throughout our meal. It seemed like they were understaffed with no hostess, so our server Anderson was also seating people. He was truly friendly and efficient given all the work he had to do. He took our orders, brought out everything we asked for, and checked on us many times to clear out empty plates and bring us refills of various items. The short plate was my son's favorite meat. While I liked the Chuck Eye roll because it was leaner. Both were very good in the two broths. We tried many different veggies, tofu, noodles, sauces, curry, etc from the farmers market. Everything looked clean and fresh. I think it's tough to get such a good AYCE deal in Irvine, hence the well deserved 5 star review.

Food was great! Excellent meat quality on both beef and pork. Great service! Highly recommended!

Had a great and fun meal here!!!! Was craving hot pot and decided to try this place out. WE LOVED IT! We came on a Saturday around 1PM. We had a reservation but the restaurant had open tables at the time. We loved that it was a bit more empty. The parking lot, on the other hand, was WILD! We ended up parking behind the daycare center. We opted for the AYCE Wagyu experience which was pricey but oh so good. Everything in the restaurant seemed new and clean! The servers were friendly, helpful, and attentive. And I loooved all the fresh vegetables at the self-serve bar/farmers market. So many great choices! Overall, all the meats were delicious. Fatty, flavorful, and yummy. We ended up doing the Shabu Shabu broth and Sukiyaki broth. Both were great! I really LOVED the gomadare sauce (sesame seed sauce). And I was addicted to the Taberu Rayu chili oil at the self serve bar. SO GOOD. I ended up eating so much! But I didn't feel terrible as I had a bunch of veggies too. And at the end, we got free ice cream (mint chocolate chip and strawberry cheesecake)! I would've gotten a second scoop but I was soooo full. Had a great meal! Would totally come back.

Tried the new shabu-shabu spot in Irvine tonight (in the plaza by 99 Ranch on Jeffrey & Walnut, in the newly renovated building). The restaurant is beautifully done--clean, simple décor, spacious seating, and a really nice atmosphere. Service was excellent and very attentive from start to finish. The meat quality was good, and the broths were flavorful, which made everything taste great. My only suggestion would be to offer more vegetable options. Compared to places like Shabu Shabu (or similar all-you-can-eat shabu spots), this one had a smaller selection of vegetables, seafood, and add-ons. Overall, we had a great experience. I'd highly recommend making a reservation--they said they get very busy.

This hot pot spot replaced house of shabu shabu which was a UCI classic. Now, it's been remodeled since the fire and has a variety of small and larger tables for seating. There's also a large variety of vegetables which I really appreciated. For the menu, you can opt for the wagyu or Momo experience, one is more expensive than the other. You order the meats from your server but everything else is self serve. Our server was very attentive with the meat ordering which we appreciated. One note of feedback was that their tonkotsu broth and tomato broth could be more flavorful. The sukiyaki was definitely the star of the show for our meal

Love mo mo paradise and have been to other locations. Made a reservation online in advance and service was fairly quick. Amount of vegetables were good and they refilled it pretty often. Overall good experience and would come back. The only bad thing is the limited parking in this plaza, had to park very far back near the tesla chargers. Keep in mind if coming for dinner hours or weekends.

Decent shabu shabu, meat quality is amazing and delicious. Sukiyaki broth is very good.

Absolutely love Mo Mo Paradise! The service is awesome and Brian always takes super good care of us when we visit. Shabu ingredients are delicious, great quality and bang for buck since it's AYCE style capped at 90 minutes. Veggie options are fresh and plentiful and the beef and pork options range from lean to delightfully fatty. Also love adding on the unlimited drink bar because of their specialty teas and toppings. My favorites are the Yuzu Jasmine and Passion Fruit Oolong teas. Can't get enough! Ambiance is casual. We always leave feeling super satisfied. Thank you so much for the care the staff puts into prepping the ingredients and service.

We finally gave it a shot today. We ordered the steamed pork belly, cold noodles, and the galbi soup. The food was very good. My mom was quite happy with the cold noodles and my kids consumed every drop of the galbi soup. My dad and I had the steamed pork belly and we agreed that it was pretty good. The part I want to really emphasize was the service. The young man that took care of us was very attentive and most importantly, treated my kids so well. He provided them with all their usual needs like plastic silverware, extra bowls for soup, and even offered extra soup when he saw that they devoured the galbi soup. He went out of his way to give them some BTS Edition Oreos and little bags with stickers in them. I am always very grateful anytime people take care to treat my kids well. I'm glad we decided to give this spot a try.

If you're going with a few people, the Braised Spicy Premium Beef Ribs with the flat glass noodles is definitely the move. The portion easily feeds two to three. The meat is super tender and just falls off the bone, covered in a rich, spicy sauce that has a nice kick to it. The flat glass noodles soak up all that sauce, and the chunks of kabocha squash add a slight sweetness that balances out the spicy, heavy beef. Service is super fast. You get your banchan pretty much the second you sit down, and the food comes out steaming hot without a long delay. If you're looking for a quick group lunch spot where you can split something huge and spicy, it's definitely worth coming here.

I have always really liked this restaurant, which is why today's experience was especially disappointing. Unfortunately, what happened today was truly awful. From the beginning, our server appeared visibly impatient. When we repeated a couple of dish names to make sure the order was correct, she began speaking to us in an unnecessarily loud and irritated tone. Her voice was loud enough that another employee noticed the situation and offered to take over the order. Instead of accepting the help professionally, our server responded that the other employee would not be able to understand what she had written in Korean. When the other employee later asked her to repeat our order, she read it back very loudly and with obvious anger. The entire restaurant could hear her, and the experience made our whole family feel embarrassed and extremely uncomfortable, especially since we had children with us. Later, she seemed to realize that her behavior had affected us. She brought us a noodle dish "on the house" and briefly said sorry. While we appreciated the gesture, it did not undo the way we were treated in front of the entire restaurant. My question is: if you knew your behavior required an apology afterward, why treat customers that way in the first place? Customers should not be made to feel like an inconvenience simply because they are dining with a larger group or placing a larger order. We came to enjoy a family meal, not to be spoken to with hostility and publicly embarrassed. Unfortunately, this experience completely overshadowed the food.

It's been a few years since our last visit because we moved away, and we were looking forward to today's visit...total let down. No more restaurant dining. All take outs only and in disposable bowls/containers. You can sit inside or outside. I understand during the pandemic why this was necessary but should be fine to return to normal operation at this point. So much garbage created with all the one-time-use stuff. Most people opt to dine in so makes no sense to have so much trash. And the indoor table was sticky. I know this is now a take out only place so diners have to clear their own plates... but we were the first group sitting down at our table when the restaurant opened...shouldn't the tables be cleaned initially before starting the day's operation? The biggest letdown...food. For a place that used to pride itself in freshly made udon and soba, these two dishes were terribly average. They might have used diluted soba tsuyu for the dipping sauce...it is not the full flavored version but tasted rather watered down in order the fill the larger takeout cup. The soup for nabeyaki also tasted bland, not as flavorful as their old broth. I think I could make a better broth using udon powder packets from grocery store. The rice dishes like katsu-don and prime beef steak were ok. Now the beloved Fukada feels like a generic food court stall. Of course it's still popular but the food is not the same.
