I just left this location and after problems, again, I think I'm done. I'll drive the extra distance to a different one. So, I sit in the drive thru for over 20 minutes along with a lot of other people. I have been craving a strawberry milkshake and the one by my house makes a great one but that's over 13 miles away so, I sit in the drive thru, finally get to order a large strawberry milkshake and large fries, with the total being over $8.00 for just those two items. Another 5 to 10 minutes to get to the window and the girl at the window hands me a medium "strawberry milk". This girl is very polite and friendly so I nicely ask her if this is the $4.99 large milkshake. She turns to the girl making them and asks and is told YES, it is, which is either a lie or they have a different idea of a large milkshake. Now I am feeling sorry for the girl at the window, I explain to her that every other DQ I've been to, this is a medium. She turns around and tells the girl this and the girl looks at her and says well, I'm out of large cups. By this time the window girl has the deer in the headlights look from being caught between a customer and a liar. I felt really bad for her especially since the other one didn't give a sh*t. She was panicking trying to make it right and I explained to her that she was fine and it was o.k, the people behind me had been waiting a long time too, ( I didn't want to mention that a milkshake actually has ice cream in it also, it wasn't her fault) I drove back to work only to realize I got a medium fries also, ( half filled large container). Will I be going back ? NO !!! To the girl in the window, please find another job, no one should be put in that position for that pay. I came through here on a Wednesday at 4:30, by the time I got the the window it was 4:45. My credit card was handed back to me covered in fudge. I saw my blizzard sit on the counter for over 5 minutes while I waited at the window. I saw a "kid" making my peanut buster parfait. When he went to hand it to me I told him that it wasn't finished. The kid said it was. I pointed out the picture I could see hanging on the ice cream machine of a peanut buster parfait, it's supposed to have fudge and peanuts on top. The kid then said that they didn't have to do that and that the district manager was on sight and "really mad at them for using too many toppings." I left with my pitiful peanut buster parfait and nearly melted blizzard. I wasn't settled with my experience and ended up calling the store when I got home to talk to the district manager who was "on site." He wasn't. I spoke with another manager on Thursday who passed my name and number onto the district manager. I finally heard from him on Sunday after phone tag. He "assured" me that after my call they had TWO trainings on how to make a peanut buster parfait. That all sounds great. I was disappointed though that the manager didn't offer to make it right. I get that this is fast food but come on. Lets put some care in customer service. A lady with short brown hair and a head set did not even acknowledge me and the cake lady actually rang me up. I watched the short brown haired lady. She did nothing for the 15 minutes I was waiting for my food. I saw the food come out in the window and sat for 10 minutes. Be very careful of this DQ. The prices on the menu at drive up do not actually mean that is what you will end up paying. I ordered 2 corn dogs and the drive thru menu showed $1.99, they charged me $4.79 each. When I went back to get my money back the manager said it is not her problem because she took over for a crappy manager and the corn dogs should not be $1.99. She couldn't understand that she needs to honor the price on the menu. Plus the food is often served hot on the outside and cold on the inside. No matter what, no matter how much I switch times to try to mitigate it, they ALWAYS mess up my orders. ALWAYS. Never fails. Things missing, things made incorrectly, things that weren't ordered at all. I've luckily never gotten any raw meat from them, but there again I've never ordered anything with meat. The most recent tipping point was a "Oreo Cheesecake Blizzard" That was watery milkshake consistency and nothing but crumbs. It was gross and went straight to the trash after only a couple forced bites. Did I mention how items are never delivered in a sealed bag during this lovely pandemic? Literally the worst Dairy Queen in town. Last time I came, (on a Tuesday) they had a paper sign on their door saying "closed till Friday due to maintenance." At first my service was terrible but then an employee with blonde hair and glasses made my experience here so much better! I think her name was Brianna. She corrected my order that was wrong. The best place to wait 30 min for a Burger. When I got home I saw there was a few big spots of mold on my Burger bun. Yum. There was Cherry mixed into my Oreo blizzard. Good thing I'm not allergic. This place looks great since the remodel, but the food is still sub-par for fast food, and overpriced too. They sure do seem to do a lot of drive-through business, and probably for their frozen treats. The staff were nice and the lobby was immaculate, but the only place with worse fast food is wendy's. read more

If you want to waste your money, and your time, go on down to Dairy Queen on highway 99 they had me waiting for my food for 30 minutes while the cook was yelling at other workers in the back, so over heard the cook give out food and say "I don't know what's what so they have to deal with it" and I ended up getting the wrong food. read more

Blizzards are never properly mixed. They're great at the top, although not very full, but when you reach the bottom, it's just plain vanilla ice cream. It's close to home, so I tolerate it, but it's always disappointing. read more

I used to live right by this Dairy Queen. Went several times and always regretted it. Basically bottom-of-the-barrel food. Sickness & disease-inducing food found here. Every day my co workers and I go to lunch together and usually spend about $150.00. Today, we went to Dairy Queen. The young man taking our order was very nice, and helpful. The cool in the back was upset because we ha a big order. This guy has blue hair and was wearing a shirt with flowers on it. When he seen the order I was placing he then said, "tell them they should call in next time" and then he said "fucking bullshit" and turned around and looked at me. Nobody said a word to him. Stopped in there for dinner August 21st. It was a hot 85 degrees outside, and we ordered through the drive-up window. We ordered 2 combo meals, which we substituted the drinks for shakes, and one burger. First of the price floored me- it was $26.00! We can get a med pizza, chicken wings and cheesy bread at dominos for that price! Anyway- we pulled to the window and paid, and the young lady made our shakes right away and gave them to us. I told the person with me that i hoped they wouldnt melt in the heat of the car. We waited about a minute holding them, and the she comes to the window and asks me to move and park because the fish was taking longer than they thought. Our shakes were already melting, so i told her that our shakes were already melting and that i would like two cold ones when our food was ready and gave them back to her, with her comment to me that i could drink them, and i said i cant drink it before it totaly melts, cause then wouldn't even want my food. I drove up and parked, and it took about 7 minutes waiting. She brought out the originak shakes... melted even more! I didnt feel like arguing over it, and i dumoed it out when I got home... it was basicall a little thicker than water and seperated!! How are their cooks and wait staff trained... half way through the cooking time would be when you make the shakes... not 8-10 minutes before in a hot car to boot! I loves me some Dairy Queen, but this location consistently has incredibly poor service. And I don't just mean lately, this has somehow gone on for at least the last 10 years, through countless changes in staff and surely management. Want something added to your Blizzard? 3 times out of 5 your request will be flat-out ignored. Half of the rest of the time they'll pay just enough attention to half-ass it. It doesn't matter how specifically I phrase it, how explicit I am about my willingness, nay, eagerness to pay extra to get what I want, the vast majority of the staff just does. not. care. So you'll get chocolate-based blizzards that are mostly vanilla because they can't be bothered to mind the ratios of what they're adding or to finish mixing it (I'll concede this is partly a casualty of them not having chocolate soft serve at this location). Oh yeah, the best is when something is mixed well and looks chocolaty at the top, but two inches down it's nothing but unadorned vanilla soft serve. Neat trick. Service deserves one star or less, but I'm giving an overall two because even when it's disappointing and not what you asked for, it's still Dairy Queen. read more

We were in west Eugene tonight and did a drive through. We ordered the chicken strip basket and was very disappointed with the portion size of the chicken strips and French fries. We have ordered the same meal at the campus branch. The campus branch had much larger pieces of chicken, more fries, and tasted much better. Probably will not be going back except to get ice cream, that's always good at DQ. read more

New taste treat....blizzard in a waffle cone. Don't waste your money. The waffle cone was soggy and they put whipped cream on mine and very little ice cream. You are further ahead, if you enjoy ice cream, to order a plain blizzard. The waffle cone also had an aftertaste that was quite unpleasant. read more
