What is this?! A freaking melted blizzard!? THREE MELTED BLIZZARDS SMH QUEEN YOU ARENT QUEEN NO MORE.

I go here often. Been to many Queens across the valley. First off management is rude. Had an encounter with the "manager" Wendy. I got 3 small Oreo blizzards. Ok so the first time I asked them to remake them because they had NO OREOS. Wendy tells me she can give me a side of cookies. I said I don't want a side I want cookies blended in my blizzard like I purchased. She then says she will be back and come and gives me this. She said I did a "soft blend"? I was like wow my ice cream is melted and I have even less amount of cookies than the first time. She's was also rude short and not trying to help.

    Chocolate chip cookie dough! Yummmm

Omg I am in love with!! Kaisha was amazing! The food is amazing!! I love when it is a fun and friendly environment!! The service was amazingly fast the gentleman(Frank) that made our ice cream did an amazing job he blended all the way down !! "There have been a couple of time I got my blizzard and it was just vanilla ice cream at the bottom" the only drawback from this location was the older lady Amaris. We came in with smiles and she did not have a welcoming face she did not make for a pleasant experience at all . I feel like she is the manager . I understand being busy however no smile or anything is extremely unprofessional.(especially when you as a manager are the face of your company). When I worked in the industry, I always made it a point to smile and make people feel welcome. I have gone up a couple of times to ask for people name . The younger staff was very helpful, accommodating, and inviting!! I love this place and the staff . If you are the owner please work on (Amaris). I did want to say, I did bring up my concerns with Amaris regarding her professionalism and her demeanor. She was professional and took my concerns and thought into consideration. I love that everyone looks professional and they are constantly cleaning !! Frank the gentleman was cleaning the tables and ask if he could get us anything absolutely amazing! I will continue to POST about the amazing experience we had !! I am in love with the constant cleaning!! I love this place !!!!

Ordered an Oreo blizzard but unfortunately received a ice cream topped with Oreos. The workers forgot to mix the blizzard. Sad.

Jim (the owner) is rude and unhelpful, however the rest of the staff is friendly. You would think the owner would be nicer.

My friends and I stopped in for dessert around 8pm on a Tuesday, and it wasn't very busy. There were a few different seating areas inside and some outside too. There are three ice cream flavors (vanilla, mixed or chocolate) to choose from, then different toppings depending on what you order, one size only. After studying the menu I decided to try the Fluffynutter'n which has peanut butter, banana and marshmallows. It was delicious!!! I think this place also does breakfast/brunch which would be fun to check out. I can't wait to come back and try all the other options!

Ultimately this doesn't matter to me as I just want the ice cream. Today I was on my way to work and decided to treat myself to a coffee. Knowing that they're vegan, I thought non-dairy milk would be included. Nowhere was I able to find which milk was included in the price- so I asked for oat milk. I was charged NINTEY CENTS (.90) for an upcharge. Rather than saying oh it comes with soy milk, or hey it's a .90 cent upcharge, the barista just added it on no questions asked. I had reviewed the menu online and in the extras it does not include oat milk, which is why I assumed it came with it. My coffee ultimately came out to $9.16. What a joke. I will definitely not be coming back here for anything besides ice cream from here on out and even that is a hard maybe. I wish more places had pricing integrity- their website doesn't reflect it and neither did the barista. *edit to add the coffee is extremely sweet and milky, tastes more like sweet milk than a latte :(

A Nostalgic, Must-Visit Dessert Destination in Old Town Scottsdale…read more Our party of six visited the Sugar Bowl for dessert following a friend's birthday dinner. Upon our arrival, we were accommodated immediately and seated without any delay. The parlor features a wonderful, nostalgic aesthetic reminiscent of the late 1900s. Its menu is remarkably expansive, offering an impressive variety of options that goes well beyond what one might typically expect from a traditional dessert establishment. The service we received was patient and polite. While one of our table's orders was initially overlooked, the staff corrected the mistake instantly as soon as we brought it to our server's attention. As the name implies, the menu leans heavily into decadent, sweet treats; those looking for lighter or tart options like yogurt variations will find limited choices, but the indulgent selections are perfect for traditional dessert lovers. The surrounding neighborhood adds significantly to the appeal, offering an excellent Old Town atmosphere filled with art galleries, historic shops, and artifacts. If you are visiting the nearby Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA), enjoying dinner in the area, or simply taking an evening walk, I highly recommend stopping by the Sugar Bowl for its unique historical charm and experience.

I considered several options in Phoenix area to review, but I decided to go with the iconic Sugar Bowl in Old Town Scottsdale. It's been in business since the 1950's and has been a staple for 7 decades in Old Town. The inside is 1890's decor of pink & white wallpaper/decor like an old fashioned ice cream parlor. They have a bar area and standard seating. I remember I first went here when I was in high school in late 90's/early 2000's. Ice cream was always top notch. I used to get the Buster Brownie, which was this big brownie sundae with vanilla ice cream, goeey marshmallow topping, whipped cream, & cherry on top. It was awesome! I loved that way back then. I got lunch there once or twice; pretty good sandwiches, but the real highlight is the ice cream. My most recent visit was in Jan. 2022 with my dad. We decided to pop in for ice cream. It was as delicious as I remembered.
