I go here often. Been to many Queens across the valley. First off management is rude. Had an encounter with the "manager" Wendy. I got 3 small Oreo blizzards. Ok so the first time I asked them to remake them because they had NO OREOS. Wendy tells me she can give me a side of cookies. I said I don't want a side I want cookies blended in my blizzard like I purchased. She then says she will be back and come and gives me this. She said I did a "soft blend"? Omg I am in love with!! Kaisha was amazing! The food is amazing!! I love when it is a fun and friendly environment!! The service was amazingly fast the gentleman(Frank) that made our ice cream did an amazing job he blended all the way down !! "There have been a couple of time I got my blizzard and it was just vanilla ice cream at the bottom" the only drawback from this location was the older lady Amaris. We came in with smiles and she did not have a welcoming face she did not make for a pleasant experience at all . I feel like she is the manager . I understand being busy however no smile or anything is extremely unprofessional.(especially when you as a manager are the face of your company). When I worked in the industry, I always made it a point to smile and make people feel welcome. I have gone up a couple of times to ask for people name . The younger staff was very helpful, accommodating, and inviting!! I love this place and the staff . If you are the owner please work on (Amaris). I did want to say, I did bring up my concerns with Amaris regarding her professionalism and her demeanor. She was professional and took my concerns and thought into consideration. I was having just an average day today when I decided to take a nice stroll today right after church and I stopped at this DQ. Let's just say it has been THE BEST experience ever!! Please read in entirety for bad experience turned great with heart and compassion shinning through! In the past I haven't had the best of service with this location. One of my Trips was to get my pregnant wife a blizzard and I showed up 10 minutes before closing in the drive-through however they did not answer me on the intercom even after serving the car in front of me, and when I came up to the window they ignored me even though it was before closing time. When I approached the door , the two men working tried to ignore my knocking at the front door. When they finally acknowledged me, they were rude and stated they were closed even though it was 1 minute after close by that time. All that being said, I went in to get 4 ice creams and a "pup cup" for my dog that was being put down the next day. The employee working the counter voided the policy of not giving pup cups if dogs were not present. I made sure to express my gratitude to the manager and the employee. While the overall ratings aren't great for this location, I can say it seems to be changing! read more

I visited Dairy Queen off of 27th Avenue and Carefree Hwy and ordered a "Brownie Sundae" I also ordered a "Peanut Buster" parfait at the drive thru. Once at home, I opened the bag and there was only vanilla ice cream with brownies on top. I returned to the DQ and indicated that my order is incorrect, and I explained what I received and they said well this is what you ordered. I stated it should have hot fudge. The young person so called "apologized" then replied, "Well you have to be specific when ordering as we have a peanut sundaes, marshmallow, and so on. I then said, "I guess I will know for next time". Now I wonder if I ordered their promotional "Oreo Brownie Earthquake Sundae" are you telling me that it will only have Oreo cookies and brownies on the sundae? I ordered my Oreo blizzard with extra Oreo. Never got the extra. Went back through the drive-through ordered it again with extra Oreo and paid twice did not get the extra oreo. This is what happens when you have young kids running a store and nobody that actually cares about what's going on. I would never have a bunch of high school kids that are just goofing around, in control of my money. I've been there a few times they just hand the blizzard without a lid and no bag and it's already melting and spilling over...no napkins. This owner needs to get it together. The family and I have been here numerous times and usually get a Julius. They are always exactly how we order. II have actually never been inside but we have never waited long in the drive through.
