Luckily it's still good lukewarm! This time, I shared a 6 piece chicken strip meal with two friends. It was $15 with tax and filled us up nicely before our long drive home. That meal is on the expensive side for Braun's but it was great to share! Their prices in general are very reasonable, especially compared to national fast food chains. The service is usually pretty good! They're always busy but the cashiers are never rude. They take the time to say hello and goodbye, which I always appreciate. I also love the ambience in here. It feels so old school small town in a way that's hard to explain. The colors and furniture isn't old but it looks like it's from the 90s. I love it so much. Their store section is also massive! They sell way more than they used to. Fresh meat, dairy, produce, snacks, pantry staples, sweets, and of course TONS of frozen treats! Ice cream, frozen yogurt, low fat, sherbet, etc. You name it and it's here! It's definitely worth the visit. A server isn't finished with a table just because the food has been delivered. I could have ordered more orange juice, we needed more syrup (which I ended up needing), and we both needed more water. A simple check-in after the food arrived would have made a huge difference and not just being done with us. It honestly would have been a 5 star experience if it weren't for that. In we go after my beautiful wife takes a cringey selfie in front of the Waffle House sign. Greeted by employees with the friendly sass of a home town diner we sat at the bar and ordered breakfast with grits and a waffle. It came quick and perfect. The eggs were perfectly sunnyside and the toast was the perfect toastyness!! The bacon was crispy and salty like good old American loving bacon should be. The atmopshere was exactly as you would expect it to be from the memes. There were no cops there at this visit which we found to be a bonus. Our server Randy visibility hated his job and life but was great to visit with and did a great job. In closing it was a great visit the food was delicious and it had the least sticky of the bathrooms.
