I had a great experience with Igal. He came and figured out the problem fast. Definitely recommend. He has lots of experience.

This company was the choice of our landlord when we were electrically shocked by our pool and our shower. Igal fixed the pool issue, only after his crew repeatedly ridiculed us about how oversensitive we were being...that crew member ended up testing the pool with his bare hands, sending a shock through his chest...thank God he survived, and went on to fix it. Afterwards, joking we should jump in if we don't believe him. Igals refused to give us his license number at this point... During the shower incident, Igal repeatedly refused to check if any exposed wires were touching the pipes, until we kicked and screemed enough to get him to do it. That ended up being only part of the problem. We sought a second opinion from a family electrician, and were told we most likely had an issue with our house's neutral connection. Igal wouldn't even check it...so we had to get LADWP involved ourselves, and sure enough, turned out to be the issue. We could have avoided multiple painful electric shocks if Igal was not involved in our houses electric work. read more

I own a business in Beverly Hills that needed some electrical repair work. Igal came and gave me a bid which seemed fair. We added some things and took out some things at the beginning of the job and I expected it would be more, but it was almost twice what had been quoted. It would have been nice to have known that the company was going to charge $50 per bulb to change out 29 florescent bulbs. That price seems high to buy and change out a bulb. The also didn't get rid of the old bulbs or some fixtures that they removed. Just left them in the business. It also took them a month to complete the job because they had other important jobs they had to attend to and they ordered the wrong covers to some of the florescent lighting fixtures which further delayed things. Igal is a nice guy and accommodating, The work he did was done to my satisfaction with the exception of those items: 1. Didn't tell me up front how much additional work was going to cost, 2. Took way to long to finish the job. 3. Didn't get rid of items they replaced. 4. Pricing was too high to replace a florescent bulb. read more

I have a rental property in Redondo beach. My tenant called and said only part of the electricity was working in the house. I had no electrician so I used yelp to find one. We had an ugly foyer light that needed replacing in a 2-story 19 foot ceiling. They brought in a 16 foot step ladder, got the light changed out, re-wired and attached large tear drop crystals, polished them. Super professional and fast.. they were in and out in an hour, and charged 1/3 of what others were quoting the job for. Wow! I had an excellent experience with Dr. Electric! He came out quickly to my house, called when he was able to come over even earlier then he had originally anticipated and then he was so helpful. He really wanted to educate me on what he thought the problem might be. He was able to determine that in fact it was an issue with my exterior power lines (LAWP) issue. Highly recommend Dr. Electric! The switch for my unit in the main breaker outside of my condo complex broke one day, and the power went out to my entire apartment.
