Great experience today. I had a fan that needed the receiver changed and also placed on a switch from a remote only situation. The reason this was a special job is the height of my fan which is on a loft ceiling. Roman was prompt with a facetime estimate and I accepted the job. The tech came on time and was able to troubleshot and do the work as agreed. The price was right and adjusted (without my asking) because it was a little easier than planned. Roman and his team are fantastic. One of my smoke detectors failed, as the internal sensor died, causing a very loud, obnoxious chirping sound every minute. The challenge was that the detector was installed over a stairway on a very high ceiling, about 20 feet up. Several other companies were hesitant to take on the job, but when I sent Roman a picture of the stairway and the detector, he was not deterred. He sent one of his technicians, who was extremely professional and considerate, putting on booties before entering my home to protect my floors. He had the perfect ladder that contorted in a way to safely reach the detector over the stairway. In no time, he removed the old unit, took out the battery to stop the chirping, and installed the replacement. He completed the installation in minutes without even needing to read the instructions. He also helped set up the app that controls the new detector, and made sure everything was properly synced and tested with the existing ones. On top of that, he also secured another detector that had come loose and fallen out of place. These guys really came through for me and charged a very fair rate. We had an issue with a breaker not tripping on our 1960 sub-panel in our condo. Roman was able to come out and not only provide us a fair quote for replacement (this is an old Zinsco) but also diagnose the problem and provide us with a solution while he was giving us an estimate. We had multiple other electricians come out for quotes, and he was the only one to actually look inside the panel and get the power to our kitchen back up safely before moving forward with the replacement project. For the project itself, his communication was great and setup good expectations around timing and the schedule for work/inspections to follow. He kept the work area clean with a drop cloth and was very conscious about cleanliness (wearing booties walking through the condo) and while exposing more conduit/wiring to the sub-panel not making an unnecessary amount of damage to the wall.
