The doctor and nurse were very knowledgeable and, above all, CARING! Even though my test results hadn't come in yet, the doctor still called to see how I was doing anyway and gave me options if I didn't feel better. That's unheard of in my experience! I highly recommend them!

When I got there, only one other person was is in the lobby. Just a note it's small inside plus they have seating blocked off due to COVID (Which I'm okay with). The staff was nice at the front desk and the paper work wasn't that long. I had another person in front of me , so I had to wait a bit in the exam room. The PA ( I'm saying PA cause usually doctors say that they are a doctor when they walk in, if she's a doctor I really do apologize ) asked me what brought me here and actually listened to what I had to say. She told me what she thought was wrong and ordered some X-rays. Additionally, she added an X-ray to see if what I thought happened was going on as well. Got the X-rays done and what she said was the right thing and she took her time out to explain why. Gave me a shot and I was on my way home. Woke up this morning in barely any pain compared to the day before. Thanks to the staff there for proving me wrong and taking good care of me.

I feel like their online appointment app shouldn't schedule appointments when they are really busy. The waiting room was quite cold and I found the chairs uncomfortable....probably because I was achy. Once I was called the staff was very kind and helpful.  They took my vitals, ran a few tests and called in some prescriptions for me. The process was fast once I was called back. I actually started feeling better by evening. I will definitely continue to choose this UrgentMed location. The waiting room can be long; but probably much faster and less expensive than visiting the ER!

There are a few times that they are WAY behind when it comes to appointments that it makes me wonder what the point of making one is. I had to wait almost 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment because they only had 2 people working at the time. They were apologetic but I was never told there would be a bit of a backup because of this. The location is easy to find and the parking lot has a nice amount of spaces for everyone that needs to come here. The lobby is always clean and there is more than eniugh seating as well. One of their main entrance doors is stuck so there is only one door to come in and out. The rooms are clean but very small so I feel like I'm ontop of everyone when there is more than two people in the room at a time. Overall it's a great urgentmed and my choice in case I get under the weather or need something quick looked at!

I don't mind waiting, but waiting for an hour when you're already have an appointment with a confirmation number and you checked in twice it's a lack of respect. Both NPs working there now are the rudest I've ever seen. No bedside manners. Such a waist of time. After confirming with my insurance twice that they were in Network, they refused to take me. It's a good thing I wasn't dying. The right hand doesn't know what the left is doing. Very disorganized. I wish there was an option for 0 stars. :(

My name was on the screen as a scheduled appointment. After waiting and attempting to check in with no luck, I knocked on the door to see if there was anyone thereto help me. This man in a coat answered and I explained what was going on. He told me To try again on the kiosk to check in. I do it again in front of him, and he tells me to make a new appointment. Kind of ridiculous since my name is on the screen, but fine. Luckily it said there was an 11am appointment available. While I'm doing this, he takes two guys in the room that had just walked in, no appointment, and says I'll take them first, they were before you. Really! I wait around for 20 minutes, simply because I really need this medication and would have to wait longer at the emergency room. He finally comes out and takes me in the room. He begins to say that it's my fault that I probably put in the wrong code but it doesn't matter, I'm here now. That was his attempt on making me feel better. I go on telling him the reason for my visit, my itchy scalp issue and my constant eczema problem. I ask him if he could give me the lotion/liquid in particular not the cream because I need to put it in my scalp. He also asks me if I want to use their pharmacy, i explain that I work at Walgreen's and would like it sent to my job. We go on looking for the exact location and that was where he would send it. He asks me how I would be paying and I tell him I'm using my card. I pull out my card while he's printing a paper. He says he's giving me a good deal by charging me only $99 and not $130 for some reason.. He says did you out in your card. So I put in my card to pay. Then he starts folding the paper that he printed, but I noticed that the location he said he was sending it to was all wrong. I don't live in Davie. Why did you send the prescription to another CVS when we agreed on something totally different. He said the paper was wrong and that it would be sent to Walgreen's. And if not, for me to just have them call him. Not only that but I asked him why he said I would get the lotion and clearly gave me something else. He did not answer any of my questions, brushed me off and said don't worry. Its fine. He showed me his computer screen and said that he selected the Walgreen's I wanted, when in fact it showed he selected 3 different pharmacies, one being the CVS in Davie. I don't live in Davie. He acted like he didn't know how to use a computer. I was so upset that I paid $99 for such an incompetent visit, I went to try and explain to the store manager(at least I think he was a manager) dressed in a plaid shirt getting yelled at by another unhappy customer. I literally explained this whole situation to him and he looks at me and says, what do you want me to do about it? I said really, I can't believe this is your response. He replies, ma'am hes a Dr, he's going to do whats best. I told him I am now understanding why this location has 2 stars and I leave. In my opinion, they should have a -0. The customer service/lack of and lack of care in this place is shameful. Management is 0. Not to mention the store interior is also 0. I will personally never step foot in another cvs again. Oh and come to find out as I looked on my paper, he wasn't even a Dr. The manager lied to me. He's actually a Nurse practitioner. But clearly needs to retire. Thanks

She was rude the day I walked in, but I held my thoughts. Then today I called to discuss abnormal results with the physician, which I thought would be a common thing to do when you receive abnormal results in your online file, and she told me I needed to call the location where I walk-in (which was there) , then rudely told me they don't discuss results and I would have to pay the walk-in again if I wanted to discuss with a physician. That seems off. I understand COVID and being more patient with customer service these days, but there was nobody else in the walk-in that day and this lady had no reason to talk rudely to me over the phone. I was simply calling to ask about abnormal results. She is in the business of people and health. Compassion would be helpful in her arsenal of attitudes. The physician and her assistant were extremely nice and helpful.

Not Recommended I…read morewent to this urgent care because I suspected I had a broken toe. Before going in, I called to confirm they had an X-ray machine, which they did. They took the X-ray but then told me they did not have someone available to read it and that they would call me with the results. Hours passed and I never received a call. As they were closing, I called the clinic myself and was told that the X-ray showed my toe was not broken and that it was probably a sprain. The pain never went away, so my primary care doctor referred me to a foot specialist at Holy Cross. They took another X-ray and confirmed that the toe was actually fractured. My insurance paid more than $500 for the urgent care visit, and I was later billed a $24 co-pay. I called the clinic to explain that the fracture had been missed and asked if the co-pay could be waived. The office manager told me it "shouldn't be a problem" but said she would call me back. Instead, I later received a call from the operations manager, Camilo, who told me they would not waive the $24. What is most frustrating is not just the missed fracture, but the lack of follow-up communication and unwillingness to work with me on such a small billing issue after the situation. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this urgent care.
