Dr. Monica is amazing! She knows what she is doing, does it well, and will tell you the truth as a patient and not just try to upsell something you don't need or won't suit you (I love that) ! I went to Dr. Kieu after after getting tired of not being able to breathe through my nose. One of my nostrils was normal but the other was like a coin slot, I had nasal drip all the time, when I tried to breath in through my nose my nostrils went in and I snored. I came to Dr. Kieu because I was a victim in a crime, and my face had multiple lacerations due to the attack which I almost died. The hospital did the best they could sewing my face back together however, I had scars that needed a revision after 10 months of the abuse. I just have to say Dr.Kieu is one of the most kind-hearted, patient and talented doctors out there. After she performed a successful corner direct lip lift on me in July 2023, I decided to finally get a traditional lip lift on March 25, 24 and it was a success. I love my results! I went to see Dr. Monica Kieu for some filler in my nose bridge. I'm your typical asian with a flat nose bridge which makes it hard to wear sunglasses because my eyelashes stick out farther than my nose! I have seen some asians get filler put on their nose bridge to build up the bridge and give them a more prominent side profile. Dr. Kieu explained what my the procedure entailed and she sketched out where she was going to inject. She told me everything she was going to do before doing it and made me feel much more at ease with the whole process. (I've never done anything cosmetic before!) Dr. Kieu's techniques with fillers are relatively painless (3/10 if 10 is the worst pain ever) and the results are amazing. I can't stop staring at my profile/nose! It's subtle yet noticeable. I really wanted to like her. When I met her she was humble and sweet. I was seen on November 24th for severe allergy issues and boyfriend came in for a deviated septum. I was ordered to take blood/allergy tests and they informed my boyfriend they'd be in touch to follow up on septoplasty insurance authorization. It's been nearly a month since our visit and we've yet to hear from their office. My lab results have been ready since Dec 12th and I waited patiently, but no contact has been made to me at all. I'm so displeased with the response turnaround time. She seems really nice and her IG bodes excellent patient care, but perhaps my boyfriend and I fell through the cracks. We spent our time to come in and be seen for things that were impacting our quality of life and followed orders as instructed, we would appreciate being treated with the same respect. Bottom line- I get that life is busy, but I don't want to chase my Dr down for follow ups; it makes me feel completely forgotten- even ignored. It feels like a month lost where progress could have been made for both of us. We will be looking for ENT care elsewhere. read more

5 stars is not enough to rate Dr. Kieu. I drove a total of 12 hours to go to Dr. Kieu for a lip lift. I've been to my share of surgeons, I chose Dr. Kieu because she is so revered in her industry that she travels all over training others in techniques and knowledge. You want to know if you have the best surgeon? Find someone that trains and teaches other surgeons! I originally saw Brianna Stanko's lip lift and was impressed with the stunning natural result. I was still a bit skeptical that I would get the same outcome because I have been known to keloid. Well, after two weeks of healing I can tell you that my incision line is barely noticeable. It is amazing how thin the incision line is. My little brother met me for dinner and I had to point it out to him because he didn't even see it despite not wearing makeup. WHAT I LOVED: My initial inquiry and all others was returned personally by Dr. Kieu herself, no other surgeon will do this. She allowed me to FaceTime her and answered all of my questions first hand. Dr. Kieu's bedside manner is beyond amazing. It's like if your sister or best girlfriend was a top surgeon, that's how comfortable she makes you feel. Her staff is so kind and caring, it was all women and I felt very at ease. I told Dr. Kieu that I felt like I was at a spa during the procedure. I think the most impressive overall aspect of the experience was that despite Dr. Kieu holding a resume and skill level that could easily prefer an elite only clientele, she treated me (a relatively small procedure and Norcal mama) with a VIP approach from beginning to end. You will notice that some surgeons let go of their bedside manner once they receive the funds, not Dr. Kieu, she really truly cares about her patients and has alot of pride in herself and her work. I will be scheduling future procedures with Dr. Kieu this coming year. I'd rather spend additional money on travel than having to spend it on revisions from other surgeons in my area leaving me disappointed.
